We Loved the food here, my boyfriend and I arrived here around 12 noon ish, we were starving and we decided to come here. ROCIO attended us and she was so nice, attentive and patient upon our arrival. She was friendly and smiled as soon as we entered the door. We ordered the family pack meal, The Rotessiere chicken with the the two sides and an other meal of a quesdilla All at 21$ We got so much chicken, it literally feeds a family of four. Great prices, great food, service was great. The restaurant was nice and clean. Overall my experience here was great and I walked out satisfied and full. I will return here again. Excellent! Looked for rotisserie chicken in the area and came across this place. I was hesitant due to the bad reviews but went anyway. I got the whole chicken meal and I would get it again. the chicken was so tender, the rice and beans were a plus. The food has nothing to do with this review. My problem is the service. I ordered two orders of two chickens which I should've received 4 chickens in total. I went to pick my ordered and it wasn't ready. I still gave them more time before picking it up. That was my first red flag. They took long to give me my order and the lady who hand me the order was sort of lost, confused (second flag). My mistake was to trust that they packed everything. I was only able to check that I had al my sides correct. I didn't check the chicken. I had a 40 min drive to my destination. That is when I noticed two chickens were missing. I called and asked why I was only packed two and let me tell you that it took more than 30 min to look for my receipt. I asked for my money back and the "manager" for the day said they didn't give money back only credit. I didn't want a credit when I only ordered the chicken because it was Father's Day. The lady even make it seem it was my fault why I didn't check. I told her it was their job to make sure they pack everything. I don't know how they pack their food. I've been coming here for a long time,I won't be back! I ordered a torta de pollo and let me tell you it was the worst torta EVER!! I was disgusted ALL day I ate the torta because I was already starving and I didn't have cash to get something eles I REGRET eating it. The bread was soo stale and hard the torta had bits of chicken with little bones everywhere so disgusted I'm 5 months pregnant and I had to pick the torta every bite I took because of how many pieces of bone fragments where in the torta. Just thinking about it now makes me hurl. They aren't careful with your order. If you order the 1 chicken meal it comes with 2 sides I believe med. And a pack of tortillas. The tortillas tend to be hard. They also offer med or hot sauce. With the meal. Terrible Customer Service! If you care about service, do not visit Los Pollos or call to place an order. Because their food is good, they know they have a steady business so they do not need to focus on customer service. If you do call to place an order, pray you do not have to deal with a woman named Rocio. We cater once per month for our company and thought to give some business to Los Pollos instead of El Pollo Loco. It had been a few months since our last order, however we placed the exact same order as we did last time. Rocio gave us a price that was $100 more than last time (catered for 30 people). When we asked for a breakdown of the costs, she replied rudely that prices have increased. Okay fine I understand price increases, but an extra $100? That represents a 23% increase. Doesn't make sense. So when we asked Rocio for the price breakdown and went item by item to calculate the costs, it did not equal the total she was presenting. She then got frustrated because she's not only the person who takes phone orders but she also is the cashier. She said it was busy and rushed us off the phone. Most places, I would expect to appreciate a 30-person order but I guess this location has good enough business that they can afford to have terrible customer service. Must be nice for the owner of this franchise to have this luxury. Not sure if they care or not but they just lost a customer for life. FYI - we ordered from El Pollo Loco down the street. I been coming to this place for years and I never had a problem till just now I wanted to make a phone order but the one that answer ROCIO had a bad attitude I simply ask her what deals she has and she responded then I told her what if I want only the 2 whole chickens with no side orders then she $12.50 each chicken then I was telling her my order and hangs up she rushed me to hurry up because there was a line of people I called back she answer again and I told her I was telling her my order she sed I was not saying nothing so she hangs up. She kept fighting then I told her to take in my order so what she does puts somebody else on the phone and that person takes my order. This kind of people should not work there because they don't have people skills they don't have patience at all. Like relax take a breath take a client at a time simple as that. Food is garbage. Employees blatantly lie about some of the food items you ordered and purposely skimp out on portions or your sides never make it to the pick up table. At least when I go, its a 50/50 toss up whether I'll actually get the items I paid for in advance. I would take a picture of the food but I'll probably vomit from it. Good food, there is an updated menu and a price increase. The chicken is well cooked and not dry. The sides are on the small side but still tasty. Parking was easy. I preordered the meal and still had to wait in line to let them know I was there to pick up. I wish there was a faster way to pick up your food when you order ahead. I've been coming to this place for a couple of years now and every time I go I always leave with a happy tummy. This place never disappoints. Most of the time I order their super taco combo which includes two tacos with 2 tortillas each, chicken (juicy, super tender and flavorful), lettuce, sour cream and cheese. The plate also consist of two sides, I always get the rice (contains corn and peas) and the potato salad. It also comes with a small drink. During lunch time and on the weekends this place does get a bit busy. I do like that they take orders over the phone during lunch time, but I believe they don't take phone orders on the weekend. In all honesty, this place cannot be compared to El Pollo Loco, KFC etc because these places ain't got nothing on Los Pollos (that's just my personal opinion). So far the people I've taken here have not been disappointed so that's a good thing. I strongly recommend this place. Oh forgot to mention that the facility is always kept clean. I came here on a recommendation from a co-worker. Overall their food is pretty good. From what I could see their chicken looks to be rotisserie rather than grilled. I wasnt amazed with their food, but that's not saying that it wasnt any good. It was just eh, chicken, rice and beans. I would go back if I were in the area as it seemed to be kept nice and clean which is always nice when you're trying something new. The first time around, I was disappointed since they didn't have the rotisserie chicken. The second time they were in stock...so I had to try it!! Man did it fall short from my expectations!! The meat was dry and it wasn't juicy, fall off the bone type. I had the salad and potato salad as sides. The salad was just shredded lettuce with lots of water. No dressing. Just rabbit food. *This review was written 5 months ago and I thought I had posted it but had it on draft :-/ this is one review I truly wanted to share because it has a good message/lesson when it comes to both the employees and customers* If I can give the personnel from this establishment 100 stars I would plus more!! Amazing customer integrity! So my family and I were at a dealer in Torrance that took almost 4 hours of our time...didn't even close a deal because they were being pushy at the end and I honestly don't like to make business like that. Anyhow, during that time we started to get hungry and we were like what should we eat? So I thought of Los Pollos because for some reason I thought it would be the best option since it's not too heavy. I realized they closed at 9pm and thought to myself if we would even have time to make it. So here we are my parents and I wondering if we should place an order. We took a chance and my mother decided to place an ordered at like 7:50pm letting the lady know that it would take time for us to get there, so she gave us an extra 10 min after closing time to wait for us. On our way there we took the freeway heading to the 710 we noticed a stopped traffic!! And my mother thought we wouldn't make it on time, mind you it was 8:49pm. When we arrived we barely had made it with the extra 10 minutes given! From out the windows we could see everyone was happy to see us. One lady even said that one guy had said to her that we weren't going to show up and she had faith in our word and that she knew we would show up. She was right :) I guess some people still have a little faith in humanity. We were all laughing and we were so grateful! I just wanted to say thank you and that I had never experienced something so warm and welcoming despite the fact that I am sure they were ready to go home and rest. This is why I am a returning customer and will be until there's no pollos left! Lol read more

The chicken here is amazing. Everything else, including the service is horrible. My parents have been going there for years and the quality of the staff has just been going down hill. Walked in today and the young lady taking the orders Pepcie (yes, I'm serious) seemed so disengaged. She just wasn't paying attention. To prove it she got my order wrong! Once the mistake was identified she asked if I wanted to keep the wrong order. I informed her I did not. So she placed a corrected order. Two other customers were voicing their displeasure with their own incorrect order and delay in service. In the end I made the mistake of taking my "corrected" order without checking it, as I figured they couldn't possibly mess it up twice. Nope. I was wrong. My order was missing one side, tortillas and the salsa. I called to inform them and they asked I take a picture of it to prove the mistake. This place used to be packed with customers. This place is getting 1 star not because of the food (it's actually great) but THE SERVICE is terrible. If the owner is reading this: please re-evaluate who you place at the front counter. Your cashiers are rude and have no customer service sensibility. People don't go out to eat just for a meal, but also for the experience that comes with it. Your cashiers do not make it pleasant to be in your establishment. It almost feels you are bothering them by showing up and asking the to do their job and take an order. I witnessed one of your cashiers today get in the face of a customer who asked a simple question about the menu and the order he was waiting for.
