This was some of the best Mexican I've had in a long time! It's was very authentic! This is not your average Tex-mex, though they have plenty of tamer options if that's what you're looking for. I ordered the quesabarria which blew me away. On top of this though the service was incredibly fast, the second we sat down there was chips and salsa on our table, and our server was lovely and fast with drink refills. 10/10 recommend read more

It's not the best place to eat Mexican in Brookhaven but it is still pretty good nothing is great about it but nothing bad either I would recommend friends more than los parrilleros none the less it is an average Mexican restaurant. HORRIBLE. From the staff to the food-- everything is disrespectful and not worth the prices they're attempting to charge. First the staff do not in any way listen to what you're saying. We order two monster margaritas but decided to only purchase one. The waiter was told to take one off of our ticket before he sent it in and he said ok, YET came back with two monster margaritas! Told him for the third time that we didn't want two and he just walks off without a word to go get his manager, who, OF COURSE tries to throw the blame on my entire table and the waiter lies right in our faces that we never told him to take the margarita off and that we just ordered two. Got into it with the "Manager" who instead of solving the problem gave us nothing but attitude and stale chips. When asked for fresh chips , the "manager" snatched the basket up and walked away. Disgusting attitude! This place needs to be shut down! read more

I am Mexican and I must say that this was the worse Mexican food I've ever tried, the pastor torta they serve it with lettuce (Who use lettuce with pastor) NO ONE, also I ask for some coffe and they bring me a unicel cup, with a bitter coffe, and the waiter was so rude with me, even when he is Mexican. It's not the best Mexican food you'll ever have, but it's the best in an hour radius so it works! Service is really spotty. Either you have really good service, or it's really terrible. It mainly depends on who you get. Half the time I have to go up front to ask if we can have our ticket. And it's not cause I'm impatient, but I don't think I should wait 30 minutes after I finish my food waiting on the check.. Food however is pretty delicious! I always get the chicken fajitas. I do enjoy the chips and salsa as well. It's always very fresh, and they don't let you run low on them! Also, the manager, or owner is usually always there and very nice! Tries to make sure you got everything you needed. Sometimes there is a language barrier. I ask for the same thing everytime (a bottle hot sauce they have) and I know I'll either get that, or some weird salsa they have in the back. It's strange that it's either one of the two when I even say the brand. Not that it's a big deal. It's just always humorous to me. Lol. Same thing when you order stuff. Sometimes I don't know if I'll get what I ordered so I just stick to chicken fajitas! I also wouldn't bother making any requests, or revise your order. Like "extra peppers." Or "no cheese." This is the worse mexican food i have ever had at a restaurant. The salsa is canned pureed tomatoes with a couple small pieces of dried cilantro. chips not hot. I got fajitas to go, and though the service was okay, the meal tasted like horrible. The meat ( chicken and beef) tasted the same, seasoned with cheap goya crap. I placed a very expensive order from this restaurant, when I received the food the quality was poor. But the kicker was I found a hair in the food and the restaurant refused to issue a refund, because I threw it away prior to taking a picture of it. Except suddenly someone was coming to assist and not only that but when the waitress approached she grazed her eyes over me and immediately turned towards the guys and said "hello! Horrific service! If you are a brown/black person, don't be surprised if they seat white customers before they seat you. My sisters and I waited a good five minutes and it was only when three white fellows walk in did the server come over. She looked at us. This is a mediocre establishment. The food lacks flavor and flare. The servers were inattentive, it took several minutes to get a refill. My suggestion is to drive south to McComb, or north to Jackson, if you are looking to fill your craving for Mexican food. read more

Contrary to the previous posters giving 1 star, I found the staff very welcoming, fast, courteous and attentive. The salsa was not canned as previously stated. It's just Tacos and beer get over yourself. I am glad I made the decision to come here. Maybe if you didn't have such an attitude with people you wouldn't get bad service. Good stop for a date night or a night out with the kids. They serve good drinks and their chips and salsa are really good too. I like their chile rellenos but I wish they came filled with steak. My wife and I dined here for a late lunch today. The restaurant was clean and the wait staff was very quick to seat us. The menu had quite a variety (more than necessary in my opinion). The server was attentive and the food came out very quickly. The shrimp fajita was hot and fresh, the shrimp were plump and juicy. Couldn't have asked for better. read more
