The gumbo was excellent -- rich, flavorful, and loaded with seafood. It had plenty of crab claws -- maybe around twenty -- which made it a little tricky with the bits of shell here and there, but still one of the better gumbos I've had in Mississippi. The French bread on the side was a perfect touch. The only downside? The restroom could use a little attention -- maybe a fresh coat of paint or some cleaning up would make a big difference. All in all, a great little spot with solid food and a welcoming vibe. I'd definitely stop in again next time I'm in Brookhaven.
