Food with a cause..... go support The Diner…read moreNow open in Phoenix, The Joy Bus Diner™ is a 100% nonprofit restaurant that's helping make our Valley a tastier, happier place, one meal at a time. Serving hearty, made-to-order breakfast and lunch fare every Thursday - Sunday from 7am - 2pm, every cent earned will be used to support The Joy Bus, a local charity that's been bringing chef-inspired meals and caring conversations to cancer patients Valley-wide. I ordered a grab bag of 5 ready to go meals through the Too Good To Go App to try something new. I got beef barley stew which was a great tasty quick meal for dinner and some enchiladas for lunch today. Simple and perfect. They have a plant stand inside and plenty of seating. Busy little area.

Per my usual, I tried the chilaquiles. I forgot to request the brisket and I really feel that addition would complete the dish. The chilaquiles were crispy, dipped in a red sauce, on a small bed of beans. The egg was nicely cooked. The one thing I did not enjoy was that they were cold. I would go back and try something different. The biscuits looked amazing. Service was very friendly and professional. The morning we visited was early and was not very busy. I'm not sure if it would be a loud environment on a busy day.

What they do ask of you is to respect others, be cooporative around others, as well as being honest about your personal feelings, about yourself, and others. Honesty seems to be their directive they try so hard at offering to everyone that stays. Like the old saying goes, " What comes around, goes around. ". They spend a lot of time H. E. L. P.ing everyone with their problems they might have, if one occurs. Very nice people. Very cooperative and correspondent towards everyone. A lovely set of attendants, security, and staff that are on-call 24/7. The people that stay here are trust worthy, safe and also loving. . Beautiful place. Rooms are very spacious. The people are very comfortable to be around. The grounds are well kept. I would say A $1,000,000¢ dollar business, easy. But, I would definitely consider one thing. This Is A facility that H. E. L. P.'s people to all standards of Living, so putting A price on this place would be uncalled for. They need real support from business's that like to HELP others. They need HELP from organizations that are into supporting places like this, and they also need HELP from People who have belief support, that, families who have broken family members of some sort of living conditions that aren't very up to standards at first, but, can be rehabilited and given A second chance to at least try to support themselves with help from people like these people who really do make A difference IN one's life, so they can have A place to call their own, I think IS A real blessing and should be well kept reasons as such. It's really hard to get help In this world, and, places like this really make A difference In ONE's Life. I would honestly say, " This IS one of the safest places to stay and comfortable place to rebuild your life. They don't ask much. The expectations are easily lived UP too. And as for the staff, Security, And Attendants. A great set of people. Can't beat'um. I hope everyone who stays here enjoys themselves and remembers one thing. That corporation gets you everything, but, anything less may get you nothing. Don't look A gifted horse in the mouth. It might bite you. I was told; you can lead A horse to water but you can't make him drink, and that's what these people do. They lead you to the water!?. As for myself, I must get back to my little hole in the wall, so have A nice day, God bless, and farewell. Mr. Joseph D. Reid Jr., St. Joseph VALENTINE, "G-Man D", Joey Reid, 'The AMERICAN eye' God.
