Very tasty Mexican food. Love the expansion, tons of room. I used to eat here a lot more than I do now, simply because it got to be pretty expensive. Wish they had a lunch menu on the weekend. Portions are quite large, so it's always guaranteed to be two meals worth for me. Recommend the chili rellenos, and my kids like the carne asada. Taco Tuesday was a good addition, good variety. Parking can be difficult, as is the downtown area. Side streets are my best bet. read more

I love this place! It is my "go to" when deciding on a restaurant. Food is amazing, waitresses are super (& remember what I like!) I stumbled onto their vegetarian menu by accident, There is some really good stuff on there if you're looking for something a little lighter. Mariachi Salad is my fave, next time I'll ask them to slap a little chicken on it. I have never had anything there that wasn't great. Im a native Californian and have been eating Mexican food in this state, from San Diego to Eureka, for over half a century and i can tell you Los Mariachis in Red Bluff has to be in my top 3 all-time. The portions are huge, the service friendly and fast and the food is just extraordinary. I ordered the #15 combo and was stunned when it showed up on a 13 inch diameter plate-- enuf food for 2 fat guys easily. Its hard to describe how delicious that relleno, enchalada and carnitas sope was. Any Mexican food visitor to Red Bluff must try this place. Its easy to find, just take the Antelope exit off the I-5, head west about 1/2 mile to Main Street and its right on the corner, painted some insanely bright color, you cant miss it. we decided to try this mexican place cuz it was a few doors down from a great asian food place...super hot day but i guess that's the norm for red bluff....it kinda felt cool inside but a lot of people were going in n out the door...it warmed up and we heard that the a/c was broken....we ordered and i had the chile relleno and enchilada plate....the plate was warm n not hot...hmmmm....it tasted good...my GF had carne asada tacos and the meat was burned black....hmmm, i think that's where heat to my plate went....she wasn't happy and you know what that means...i get to be unhappy!!....plus the flies were rampant!!....it was a relief to get back in our car and fire up the a/c on high and not have flies....next time we'll go back to the asian restaurant down the street.... read more

Food is great, always ready when I call it in. Hard working people and always willing to serve you even after closing they don't rush you or make you feel unwanted. Was really excited to go here for a second time I ordered a grande carnitas burrito which came with carnitas, pico de gallo, guacamole, cheese and sour cream. I ordered mine without pico de gallo and it came with just carnitas and pico de gallo. So I had to send it back then they gave me the same burrito with a glob of guacamole still had pico de gallo. So I had to send it back a second time telling her that I ordered no pico de gallo because I don't like it. My bro in law ordered a chimichanga and some French fries and he received a chimichanga and rice. She fixed it once we pointed it out but she charged him for both the rice and the fries. Our waitress was polite but a little clueless. One star for the horchata and another star because my boyfriend enjoyed his spicy shrimp plate. But unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. Mediocre at best. read more

Hands down, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the North Valley. The food is very flavorful, the service prompt and friendly, and the spartan and festive decor is all part of the charm. It's a very easy detour off of I-5 and while street parking may be tough, you'll find something wihtin a block. Most of the negative reviews here are old, so let me give you an up to date one. I live in Red Bluff and this is one of my favorite restaurants. I also travel a lot for my work and eat out more than I eat at home and am a "foodie." This place is great. I've never had a problem with sanitation, service or the quality of the food. Ordered the special of the day. A pork taco with chile colorado and rice and beans. It was really good. The tacos were full of meat. The plate itself was very filling. Chile colorado was great. My Husband and I went to Los Mariachis yesterday for lunch, we love Mexican Food. what we experienced was amazing. Their was a woman sitting behind us who apparently lost someone tragically. she had a doll in her stroller and was ingaging my Husband like the baby was real, and so was the staff at the restaurant, The food was wonderfully delicious. Excellent Mexican food in the picturesque downtown of Red Bluff. We six were seated in a cozy booth in the back with the friendliest server, providing over-the-top service. We tried lots of different entrees from enchiladas, tostadas, guacamole, tacos, fajitas, beans, rice and the freshest, crispiest chips in town, SO GOOD! It is a great value, and now that we have family in the area, this will be our go-to restaurant to enjoy authentic Mexican food with all of the trimmings. The only downside is the fact that you cannot get an Tequila Margarita here, it is beer & wine only. They offer a mock margarita, but we didn't order it. For us, ice-cold Coronas will do! read more

OUR HEARTS WERE BROKEN when the manager of Los Mariachis told us he was kicking our wedding rehearsal dinner party out of the private dining area for a bigger group of people, two nights before the rehearsal. We had a reservation for months, checking in regularly. When we arrived to pick the menu items, we were told we were being moved to the large and loud dining area with no privacy. The manager even lied and said he knew nothing about our reservation when he was the one we had personally dealt with. We felt so betrayed and upset. So after a series of terrible experiences, and I mean terrible, with Los Mariachis on Main Street in Red Bluff. First here is the story of what happened tonight. We called in an order for pick up, my mom was ordering off a list we wrote so she wouldn't forget anything. I was sitting next to her when she ordered and I can vouch for her ordering everything we had on the list. After my dad went to pick it he went over the list with them 3 times to make sure it was right. (He did this because this is the 3rd time they have gotten the order wrong). He gets home and we don't have our chips and salsa or the soupy part of my moms molcaheti (spelled wrong I know). So we called them and the call basically went as bad as it could possibly go. The manager told my mom she didn't order chips/salsa or the molcaheti and said my dad okayed the order when he was there. Which he did because when he read the list they told him it was all in there. So basically the manager told my mom she was lying and then said in order to get the right order we had to bring back the wrong food. She was being a complete bitch for no reason. Needless to say I recommend that you NEVER EAT THERE. Anyone who treats customers that way deserves to go out of business. Especially considering how much we used to eat there and we always tipped amazingly(before all this started). read more
