Feels like an authentic hole-in-the-wall spot for Mexican food. Great service, the food I ordered to-go came out really fast. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was above average, better than what I've been exploring around Phoenix at least. As for drinks, they did have jamaica and horchata which came exactly as expected. Normally at these establishments (unfortunately I compare my experience to the spots I used to frequent in southern California) I expected the rice and beans to be in there especially for the price I paid, but to my surprise it was pretty much an all meat burrito with a bit of pico de gallo (which actually is a big plus for me). Would recommend this as it's one of the tastier Mexican spots I've had here in Arizona read more

Los Favoritos - Prices as of 7/2026 - Mexican Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Los Favoritos is a small but accommodating family owned restaurant that offers several authentic Mexican food options. Their service is fast, friendly and welcoming. My taco combo was ready in less than three minutes. The rice and beans were hot and flavorful and my tacos were overflowing with tender carne asada, pico, guacamole and cilantro. My Hubby's favorite burro place! I really like everything I've had there also. I am picky about what I "can't see" wrapped in a burro...That being said it's the only breakfast burro that I've found I really like! read more

I Sure would like to know why the doors are locked at 9:50pm when you're open until 10pm. If you're not open until 10pm THEN UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS!!! Now I have to drive another almost 10 miles to get to one that's still open. What a joke..... read more

Just got some carne asada fries and pollo asada fries. went here instead of senor taco cuz it was closer and $3.50 cheaper. Not gonna lie opening the container it was a really good portion size. I was super happy with our decision until I started eating... the most bland nothing tasting food. My wife's pollo was cut so tiny might as well of been ground chicken. Hell my carne was so bland and tiny might as well been ground beef... never regretted my decision so fast. I used to eat Los back in the day but used to get burritos and they were fine but these fries ain't it man. Next time going to senor and spending the extra money.. read more

My body was telling me my bean and cheese burrito tank was low, so I did myself a favor and filled it up! Not gonna lie....I'm somewhat of a bean and cheese burrito junkie and Los Favritos has a good one. Is it the best out there? Not at all...but it's huge and it does taste good!! I threw in a "side" of carne asada fries for kicks (also a huge portion) and now I'm stuffed and satisfied! The service here is always great, the girl that typically works the register is sweet and always smiles. The inside of the store has plenty of seating and clean. If you want Mexican food, want a quick place to satisfy your craving that is made to order, you gotta come here. read more

This is soo good that I want the food at midnight and you should go to this place on a trip or when you want Mexican food

I ordered 50$ worth of food 3 different entrées asked for two handfuls of red to get 4 sauces not impressed I would have payed for them if it was that big of a deal read more

Order was wrong and felt it was very over priced for what we got. Flavor was authentic

I get it you're busy and it's crazy in there but my breakfast burrito should not take 25 minutes. Of course I come to find out it was probably sitting there ready for 15 minutes. The person right before me ate all his food before I even got mine. No apology nothing. Sucks because when I lived in chandler I went every week but not going back to this location. read more

Food was ok, it really lacked flavor and spice. Service was good I wish there would have been more flavor

Perfect place to stop after the salt river if you're always craving carne asada fries! Nice, clean, little place in a strip mall, easy to find. Cute decor on the inside, fast friendly service! Don't think you can go wrong no Matter what you order here! read more

Great breakfast burritos. We had the chorizo burrito and a bacon burrito. Both were good sized and a good ration of egg, potato, meat, and cheese. I recommend calling your order in. I showed up and ordered and they were pretty busy so it was a little bit of a wait. read more

This place has decent food, but when it comes to side items like rice or guacamole or sour cream, run , these people are charging families 13 dollars for a 32 ounce cup of rice, fyi that's more expensive than some of there burritos and has to be 3 times more expensive than market price and then $8 for a small side of sour cream, before you leave check your prices on food because they are definitely screwing people over left and right and people aren't noticing nor paying attention, crazy crazy crazy, there is better out there that's forsure, read more

Great food and good prices. I haven't had anything there that isn't good so far. I love the machaca breakfast burrito.

Carne Asade Quesadilla with a side order of guacamole of course and had rice with beans. Portions are amazing especially for left overs , customer services was super friendly and can't wait to come again. read more

Had a very busy morning and was running behind but needed to get something to eat. Called my order in for a bacon breakfast burrito at 10:38am and got there about 10:50am. The cook was standing in the seating ordering area talking to 3 men when I got there. No other customers. A couple of minutes later he headed to the back and the 3 men each placed their orders. I told cashier I had a call in order, I didn't see anything ready to go so I asked if my burrito was ready. She looked around and said no. Cook returned from the back with what I assume was chorizo or longaniza so it seemed he was starting on the order for the guys that just ordered. I do know it wasn't a bacon burrito that he was starting so I told the cashier I called in my order because I was pressed for time. She said it would only take 7 minutes to cook but I said I'd ordered over 14 minutes ago at that time and couldn't wait another 7 minutes. I don't know if she failed to give my order to the cook or if he was too busy talking to friends. What I do know is Filibertos will be getting my business until someone from Los Favoritos can tell me why I should give my money to them when my order wasn't important enough for them to cook it for me. read more

I do breakfast burritos here almost everyday I'm back in town. They are great, the service is quick and friendly. They give you enough red or green sauce for their giant burritos all around just the feel of home I need when back. My personal favorite is adding chorizo to any breakfast burrito. Life is better with bacon and chorizo or ham and chorizo! read more

place is dirty. they try to charge you extra for lettuce. food is okay but not what I would call good. never coming back here again.

I know I should've done a review for this fabulous awesome most authentic Mexican food you could get inside Arizona SOONER. compared to my favorite Mexican restaurant in California. This place is number 1#. I highly recommend everything on the menu. Staff are super friendly. The food is amazing. The service is outstanding. The place is always spotless so you know that the food's gonna be good. thank you to everybody there for making me feel like a lost family member And can't forget my favorite burrito being made by the 1# master Mexican chef's in Arizona, prep cooks are on point with precision and precise measurements to all the authentic Mexican dishes that they serve each day! Great breakfast burritos!!! I do wish they had a breakfast supreme. Staff was very Friendly and establishment was very clean

A pleasant surprise! On my way to visit my mom. So the wife and I decided to pickup something to bring with us for dinner. This place popped up, so we decided to try it out. I ordered their chicken quesadilla, wife had their taco combo with rice and beans. We also tried their rolled tacos. Everything was on point. Wife really liked the rice and beans. Diffinetly will be back. read more

Great authentic food! Portions are large!Staff is always nice and efficient! Pick up times very accurate

Do not get their taco rolls...very dry and burnt. Also the food is very oily. Would recommend a different option on the menu :/

We get the shredded beef tacos and enjoy them. They are cooked differently than most places, being fried.

I ordered a breakfast burrito from here recently. I arrived, it was ready, hot, delicious and affordable. I'd definitely eat here again.

My previous review of this location would have been right on par with all the others, but this place has changed. Green salsa is not the same, carne asada is a lot less flavorful. And my wife and I have both gotten very sick in the last 2 weeks after eating here, separate occasions. I need answers! read more

Absolutely disappointed I come here almost once a week and they have messed up my order 4 times in a row I never get what I ordered right I ordered a burrito with no meat got it with meat almost threw up I called them the lady said ok bring the burrito with you and we'll make a new one at this point I told her I don't want a burrito I'm grossed out from it can I get fries and they said I have to pay the difference. OKAY well are you going to pay me for my time and gas that I wasted to go get my order fixed again! Also I HAVE NEVER SEEN A LOS FAV THAT MAKES CUSTOMERS PAY FOR A FEW EXTRA SAUCES, LITERALLY SHE RAN MY CARD FOR 2 EXTRA SAUCES FOR 50 CENTS. Now that is some next level stinginess it's like they are coming out of her own pocket. Never going back there again. read more

This place has been my go to place in the area for awhile now! When I walk in I'm always greeted and I feel welcomed. The food is amazing and left very satisfied with food and the price! The place has places to sit or you can take it on the go, I truly love to sit inside because the vibe is perfect. Would 100% recommend read more

I am a huge Los Favoritos fan.. Unfortunately, my hubby isn't! I do not understand why. Their California burrito is the best in town. Their tortillas are also very fresh and flavorful. My favorite is their sauces. My problem is that the food is so good that I want to come back here every other day. Los Favoritos offers a quick fix to a mexican food craving. I am a huge fan and will be their repeat customer. Thank you Los Fav's! read more

First came across this little gem by way of a breakfast burrito years ago, now I am a fan of most of their food in general. The ladies who work there are always friendly and the food is fast! The prices are also a great reason to try this place as it is on the cheaper end. read more

Went to this place ordered a burrito and taco salad, wasn't asked what kind, after a couple of minutes I remembered chicken. I told the cashier I wanted chicken but she said it was already made and it was beef. I asked why she chose beef and she said I was suppose to ask her. Every legitimate Mexican restaurant in this city asks what you want on anything you order. The sign does not say beef is the go to if you don't say, nowhere at the register does it say it was my responsibility to tell her. So a strip mall dive who's food is mediocre at best is about the only mexican restaurant where you will not be asked what you want on anything there. I've gotten attitude from this same cashier a couple of other times before also. So don't go to this place and have a brain fart you will be sorry. Also their tamales are unedible and now I'm forced to tell people not to eat here, ASI Es Mi Tierra down by American Discount foods, has much better food and atmosphere read more

This place is awesome. The food is great and customer service is amazing. I am from Seaside, California and the same family has several papa chevos there. I am so glad you are here at our new home too. No longer begging people to send me a bacon breakfast burrito. Haha ;) read more

I hate that we live so far from this Los favs now. The cooks at this one are the best, they stuff those burritos, the pico is amazing, the carne asada fry portions are huge and the horchata always tastes good. In a cook off, you guys would whoop the San tan valley location. The cooks at San tan valley maybe need to go take some lessons from the cooks at this location. Keep up the good work guys. read more
