Hair in food
Joseph V.

Thanks to the manager Estevan for the hair in my food and telling me "no one has hair in the back". Came here for a birthday breakfast with my parents and having to wait an extra 20 min for another plate to come back out. I'm not asking for free food, I can pay for my own stuff but a simple "Sorry" would've been enough for me to come back or even tell my family and friends to come check this place out. Also, very unprofessional attitude and letting me know "I have family here" does not scare anyone. Do better Estevan. For everyone else, do not waste your hard earned money here, go to Casa Jimenez! Or best in the Hesperia "DON GARCIAS" !!! Estevan, man up to your mistakes and I will be waiting for your reply!

I will always love this place, my family has been coming here since I was a kid and everything has always been good! I love getting the steak dishes, and my dad always orders the same beef taco and cheese enchilada (delicious). Their albóndigas always tastes like home! The staff here are phenomenal, and trust I will be back!

Amazing service, everyone greets you as you walk the food is so good. Definitely a family setting, or even if you want to come after work and have some drinks. Definitely recommend

Love the wet burrito & horchato... asada fries are a lil salty & pricy, dosent come with much avocado or sour cream like other places.

It's a charming local spot with a cozy, intimate vibe that's perfect for a first date or a quiet night out. That said, the prices are extremely high for what's offered, especially if you're coming in with family. It's not the most affordable option for a regular dining experience, and that was disappointing considering how much I enjoy supporting local restaurants. If you're looking for a romantic, local place to try once, especially for a date night, I'd still recommend stopping by. But for families or anyone watching their budget, just be prepared for the higher price point.

We came for dinner, and the lighting was very dim, making it hard to read the menu (they also use QR codes, but I prefer a physical menu). We started with the ceviche verde limon, which had very little shrimp, lots of onion, and it needed more lemon. Our bartender, Carlos, was friendly and made excellent cantaritos (10/10). Unfortunately, the entrées didn't impress. The Camarones de Don Lupe were chewy and tasted previously frozen, however the salsa they came with was very tasty and the carne en su jugo was just okay. Overall, great vibe but overpriced for the food quality. I might return for brunch since I've heard they have live mariachi.

| Great food and friendly service, small issue with coffee…read moreMy wife and I came to La Casita for brunch and had a very good experience overall. The food was delicious, well prepared, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt cozy and relaxed. The only small downside was the coffee service. After our main dishes were served, we were pretty much forgotten when it came to refills. We had to ask several times for more coffee. Not a huge issue, but something that could definitely be improved. We would still come back for sure. Great food and a pleasant place for brunch.

We have been loyal patrons of La Casita for many years. But tonight they put us in the back room by the restrooms. Larger tables for larger parties. There was two larger parties back there and it was the three of us and my 88 yr old mother n law for her birthday. Well they were ridiculously loud the more they drank ( booze) the louder they were! I mean come on people you have no respect for others! We were just trying to have a nice dinner. I wanted to yell out "Shut the hell up!" But I didn't. They are not in their home for Pete's sake! I wish the establishment would have quieted them down. I couldn't even finish my dinner.... I took it home. So if you read this La Casita, please don't place a small party in a room with a lot of loud drinking people! We love going there but this particular evening was very disappointing.
