Sat down for lunch about 1pm today...Monday. Only 1 server + manager. I waited several minutes for chips, then more for my water. Several minutes later again i placed my order. Recieved my meal in decent time but the shrimp were very hard. I waited several minutes to tell either server or manager but was ignored for the remainder of my meal. Not happy!! read more

Me and my husband go here for lunch at lease once a month and the food is amazing I actually been going to Los Domingos for over 10 plus years and the quality has never changed still one of my favorites. This used to be my favorite Mexican food in the desert and I frequented margarita Monday often, so this makes me very sad. I got busy in life and quit coming for a few months but I just returned last Monday and something was off. New staff, crappy margaritas with no salt on the rim, and gravy type stuff on the nachos. Well we came back this week because we had a gift certificate and it was horrible. We each ordered a asada burrito which the menu said comes with asada, beans, smothered I ranchero sauce and cheese. We waited and good 20 minutes for our food and got asada in a tortilla with half red sauce and half green. It was gross and not what the menu described. When we asked them to take it back they said that's how it is made now. They gave the biggest attitude when we demanded they remake it. Then we ask for more napkins and the waitress (who later tells us she is the owner) brings us dirty napkins. I miss Julio. He was amazing. The only good thing they have going for them is Noel. He works his butt off, always friendly and quick server. read more

This place has good brunch and its at a reasonable price. The seafood is OK but not worth the prices they charge. Last night we asked for two house Margerita thinking they would be regular size. We were ripped off when the waitress failed to give us any other options, she just served us extra large margeritas with barely any tequila for almost 17.00 EACH. I love this place. I'm new to the city and haven't yet found a good Mexican spot till I came across this restaurant. Awesome service , the wait wasn't long at all. We came here tonight for a team dinner for the highschool and I've been seated for an hour and a half and haven't been offered chips and we just now had our order taken........ I think they are under staffed tonight. Maybe they didn't realize how many people would be here. So maybe this isn't the norm. I see mixed reviews on this place so maybe it's hit or miss. I can't rate the food because we haven't been served yet. Based on our service so far I'd say it's a 1 star eatery but the food others are eating looks amazing, the buffet they put out for the boys seems well put together so that's a plus and they seem to be updating the food as needed for that area.......that being said I'm hopeful....... Will update later ‍ UPDATE: so we got our food and it was really good and although it was frustrating having such a long wait I felt compassion for the workers (being understaffed, management issue maybe?). Here's the bottom line....if you're white, I can see why you keep reviewing this place as being a good place to eat. But as a Mexican, the food sucks! Mostly because they have NO HOT SALSA or anything worth calling SPICY in this place. Even the grilled jalapeños were NOT HOT! I ordered those to "spice things up" to no avail! No offense to you white folks, but it's no wonder that 95% of the customers there were white. My wife is white herself and even she hated the place! Been here many times and always order the molcajete on one visit had to send it back 3 times cause it wasn't cooked right some of it was raw. We been many times since but when we went today the waitress sat us then we ordered and as usual the molcajete only this time the manager comes over to let us know if we order they are not taking it back and we have to eat it, he even had to repeat himself. Needless to say my husband ate it I wanted nothing after being treated so rudely. There was no need to bring the issue up being it was not our fault but great job acting grown up both of you almost had it. We won't be returning again. read more

Our family's favorite place for Mexican food. The staff is always happy to see us and treats us great. The food is delicious and served hot. Salsa is tasty and chips are what you would expect. This is our "go-to" place when we decide last minute to go out on a Friday or Saturday night and don't want to wait. Well the word is getting out! Had to wait a few minutes. Food here is wonderful! Tastes very authentic. We've been to Mexico a few times and the flavors and dishes are very similar. In other words, tastes more homemade than "mass produced". We always try something different and are never disappointed. Your waiter is your bartender and they are very generous on the drink sizes! They have sports playing on TV's in the main dining room and can accommodate larger parties as well. Staff is always very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Five people, with a few drinks, and a 20% gratuity was still under $100. read more

If you've read my posts then you'll see that I consider myself a harsh critic and I've been to this restaurant a dozen times so there's a reason why I keep going back. I have never had a negative experience here. I've tried just about everything on the menu. The food is incredible and I always leave full and with a to-go box with the rest of my dinner. The kicker: their margaritas. They're ALWAYS stiff like a board and that's how I like my drinks. Staff is super friendly. The one improvement they need to work on is their chips n salsa. I have visited twice now and I like it. The service is good and we were seated quickly. I love the warm chips and delicious salsa. The decor is a little dated but don't let that fool you--the food is delicious. The combo platters come with beans and rice with your choice of soup or salad. The salad was fresh and crisp. The place is always dirty, especially the entrance. There is literally tons of dirt and accumulated debris at the interior of the main entrance, which can easily be solved with a vacuum. Interior blinds and floors are filthy. I've been there several times to know that the food is mediocre, rice always dried out and guacamole turned brown. Fresh food and cleanliness is not part of their top priorities. If the front of the restaurant is in bad shape, I think the statistical probability of the kitchen being in bad shape is pretty high. read more

The manager didn't even ask what the problem was. Worst customer service I've had in my life. My coworkers and I sometimes meet here on Fridays after work for happy hour. Yesterday, one friend arrived earlier than the rest and found a table. The manager asked her if we would be ordering food or "just drinking" and basically said he didn't want us just sitting around because it's a place of business. We are all professionals and the main reason we meet here is because of the location. The drinks are ok and the food is meh. Yes we are generally a fairly large group of 10 or so but we all order drinks, many order food and everyone tips. No one is "loitering" or being rude or disrespectful. I didn't know there was an amount necessitated to be paid to be allowed inside a restaurant. He paid better attention to our table when he overheard our friend telling us about his comments to her but our minds were made up. No more meeting at Los Domingos. We are choosing a new place for our Friday get togethers where our business is appreciated and we feel welcome. read more

This is My Favorite Place. Good Seaver, Yummy food, good Prices, they have Happy Hours. I love there fajitas, there guacamole is so good & all there food is good. Best Mexican food I have ever had. I even go here for my birthday dinner & they sing to you & put a cinco de Mayo hat on you. Everything is good. It's very Family friendly. If you have tried Los Domingos It's A Much. Try it. I have been going to Los Domingos for years. Has always been good except for now and I think it may be under new management because everyone was new. I ordered a bottle of Modelo and she said we have a tap now so I said ok I'll take a Michelob. She brought it out and was not cold. Went tonight and everything was wrong and we never complain about service but something has to change. Ordered no cheese or pico and had pico and cheese on everything so we had to send it back and wait for our food again. The waitress put the hot plate right next to my baby and of course he touched it :( . The atmosphere and everything is not what it used to be which is sad because we used to love going here. ZERO STARS. Would definitely not recommend to anyone or ever come back for that matter. Walked in with my boyfriend... Right away lobby was dark and dim. Customer service was okay. Ordered 2 Micheladas. They were horrible. Glasses were filled 3 inches below the top. Looked like they were thrown together made with absolutely no love. Worst micheladas ever. Next we ordered 2 tostadas de ceviche.. They were the most bland flavorless unseasoned tostadas we've ever had.. They tasted like they were hand made by Hitler's wife... To top it off they were served on the stalest tostadas money could buy. Needless to say... We took one bite.. Were disgusted and disappointed... Paid our bill and walked out to eat elsewhere. Truly feel that we were robbed paying to eat here. They don't even deserve one star. Would like the owner to give us a call as we truly feel we were robbed.. Love the waiters and owners of Domingos. We go almost weekly and are treated like family. Hugs and all. Get our chips and salsa right when we sit down and plenty of refills.
