Tinto de verano, Gambas pil-pil, Fried shrimp (free tapas with drink)
Sharon K.

Literally a diamond in Granada!! Best seafood tapas I've had during my vacation in Spain! Free tapas for each drink is also a definite plus (and they give you good tapas too compared to other places in the area). The navajas (razor clams) were fishy to my taste, but they were the best out of all the ones I've had (I also am not a fan of them in general). They do give you a huge portion, so I would suggest you get them if you like razor clams. My favorite was the Gambas pil-pil (shrimp in garlic sauce). DELICIOUS! Their tinto de verano also tasted the best out of all of the ones I've tried.

Wow! Best tapas bar in town! One drink; one free tapas! Can't beat that. On top of the free tapas, totally worth it to pay for the Gambas and the calamari and the anchovies. So good. Service is impeccable! The guys here are awesome. Will be back for sure. Thank you Los Diamantes for a perfect nite.

The razor clams were delicious and well priced! There are small tapas that come free with drinks as well.

A great place to start the night in Granada. I love southern Spain and the best reason is because of how little you need spend on food and drink and still have a great time! Awesome sense of community in this bar, and great food and drink. My highlight were the navajas a la plancha, but there are also multiple other tapas that come free with an order of drinks. I would definitely come again!

Squid with tomatoes--amazing and healthy!

OMG we loved it! We had four drinks so they brought four tapas: fried chicken, garlic mushrooms, fries with a sweet sauce and lightly fried vegetables. All were amazing!! We also ordered squid with tomatoes (perfect!) and sweetbreads which my friend said were delicious. Everything had so much flavor, even the tiniest piece of lightly fried chive.

In my opinion Los Diamantes is a must visit if are ever in Granada. Be forewarned that this place can get quite hectic and there is limited table seating. It is mostly standing room only with high tables and bar areas. The servers here are nice, speak some English, and are quite efficient. They will also provide free tapas as you order more rounds of drinks which is nice and common in Spain. The seafood is very fresh as expected with such a high turnover. On my visit I was able to try the grilled baby squid, spanish rice, grilled razor clams, mussels, and fried anchovies. Everything was amazing and food came out quite quickly. You will find mostly locals here with only a few tourists. There are three locations throughout the city of Granada so you have no excuse not to give this place a try!

Free calamari tapa!

My boyfriend was SO HAPPY here. We loved the free tapas that come with each round of drinks. Beers here are the Alhambra of course! Calamari and the mussels were excellent. The bf could've stayed here all day. Would definitely recommend this place! Straight off the street after exiting the Alhambra and walking straight down.

I wanted to go here for awhile but it was always so packed that I didn't feel like going inside. However, that was a mistake because the tapas are definitely worth dealing with the crowd. I ended up going here a few times because the seafood is so good. They might have the best free tapas in all of Granada because they give you a fair amount of seafood tapas, which are generally somewhat expensive. Not only does their fried seafood taste great since it has such a nice, light batter, but their grilled seafood tastes great as well. My favorites here are the razor clams and fried shrimp. Also, the portions are very generous. If you do order a half or full racion, they at least give you a lot. However, if you plan on coming here a lot, you might as well save your money and just order drinks. Eventually, you'll be able to sample most of the dishes. The only dishes worth ordering as raciones are the shellfish like razor clams because they don't serve those as tapas. Overall, the seafood here is great quality, and if you mostly just order drinks then it's also very cheap. Worth the trouble.

Very fresh seafood, simply prepared. Good for tapa and meal. The razor clams are my favorite.

Foods are good. Just one dish that I will not order again is the clam dish, because It has a lot of sand.

The best part is going on a week night and getting a free tapa with a drink order which can vary wildly.

Smaller, cozy full of character Bar area and the whole place is filled with bottles. 5 tables outside but for me inside was much more interesting. I ordered a Verdejo and my Server brought out a complimentary tomato Tapa and Salami. Tomatoes were super fresh and slightly salted-delicious! Everything on the menu looked good! I ordered the Sturgeon, Foie Gras and White Sausage. The Sturgeon was exquisite with the tomatoes and peppers pairing perfectly! Should have taken the big order. Foie Gras and white sausage (mild) were simple, tasty and didn't disappoint. My Server was friendly and worked to bring out the dishes as they were ready given my time crunch. About an 8 minute walk from the city center and well worth it. Make the stop for some high quality/reasonably priced Tapas and Wine in a unique space.

We went for tapas and great tapas we got!…read more We had the beans in the little clay pots, we also split a machete anchovy sandwich (so good) and pimento stuffed olives. Plus the house vermut. It did not disappoint. The place is super busy (for a good reason) but the staff still managed to help us pick what we wanted. This is what a tapas place is supposed to be.. The bar is beautiful and those barrels of house made vermut made it look and feel so authentic.

This is a little tapas bar that is popular with the locals. We got a ton of food (1 small sandwich,…read moreone large sandwich, 2 croquettes, and 2 "free with drink" tapas) and 2 drinks (beer and vermouth) for only 10,80 Euros. Whooooa. What a steal!!! The downsides - they don't really speak English, the menu is Spanish only, and it's crowded and standing room only type of bar - so it's hard to get the attention of the bartenders if you don't speak Spanish or don't know how to navigate a Spanish tapas bar. The food was ok in terms of quality, nothing super delicious but not bad either. Just average. But the value was phenomenal. The free tapas options that come w your drink(s) are a saucy rice & meat dish w bread or a mushroom dish with bread. The mushrooms looked canned (ew) so we went with the rice/meat/veggies dish which was pretty good.
