Came here try it out not a great experience. Got seated right away and then waited for 15 minutes just to get chips and salsa and then another 10 minutes for our drink order. The food came out, the fajitas were very large chucks of meat, and lacked much flavor. We got up and left the table to pay our check because our server never came back. I'd say four and a half out of five stars on their food Now the bad parts: we went with a group of 11 friends for happy hour and they have a nice happy hour menu with happy hour food. We sat at a table in the bar area, but we were told you cannot get the happy hour food unless you're sitting at the bar, so why would I go there with 11 friends? We had to order the more expensive regular appetizers. Also, the music was loud. I complained and they said well "you're in the bar area,"but there are 11 of us and three people sitting at the bar maybe five others at another table. I think the majority should rule and they should have turned down the music. While I'm on the subject of music if you've ever been to Los Cucos when they have a Mariachi band, you will regret it. You will want to give them money to go play on the other side of the restaurant. You cannot have a conversation in their restaurant when there is a mariachi band Brass horns inside a building is not a good idea unless you are a concert or dance hall. I'm not trying to be culturally insensitive. I've even been to a mariachi Catholic Mass and I think every Catholic should go to one, but it'll be the only one you'll want to go to! read more

This place was by far the dirtiest one I have ever been to, was there almost 3 hrs the table next to us has rice all over the table never cleaned when we finished our meal half our plates were never picked up toilet missing the seat plenty of people working where is the manager? No doubt about it, the food is delicious. But, it comes at a premium price, which was a little surprising based on the fact that this is a rather average type Mexican restaurant. We went on the 26th and just got over food poisoning. The tea tasted weird and the meat in the taco tasted horrible. It was a mixture of a bunch of different things, added to the ground beef. When we go to the location on Texas Ave they only serve ground meat not a soupy mixture. Also my beef fajitas only had 3 small slices of beef, I couldn't even make another fajita. With that large of a group all ordering off the menu I was amazed. He worked hard that afternoon for us and it made it so nice to be able to concentrate on our birthday celebrations. I just can't express how bad it is. Ordered the grilled Filet of fish that, on menu, advertised to be served topped with shrimp, scallops, and crab meat sautéed in butter sauce. Fish had a bowl of pico dumped on top with nothing else. 25$ on DoorDash for this. If you go to restaurant, don't get a drink because your glass will reek of dirty dish water. Where to start... we order take out every week at this location. Sometimes it's twice a week. Nov. 24th I was calling in the order and the phone call would never go through. We do not use the app to order due to it does not allow to make the modifications we want in our meal. So at this time since the call was not going through I entered the order through the app. We drove to the restaurant to pick up our food and when my husband went in he had to wait another 10 minutes for the food after 20 minute drive so a total of 30 minutes. This hostess "Elizabeth S" when he said the phone call would not go through she said "I know I was hanging up on you because we are busy". Really??? Customers pay her bills and allow her to have spending money. Im sorry Elizabeth however the restaurant was not busy. Your job is to take care of takeout orders and answer the phone. The was one door dash guy in front of my husband and then my husband. If you call that busy and can't handle that little pressure maybe you need to find different line of work. We were there 9/11 for our anniversary. I ordered the dinner with the fried alvacado. When my meal arrived the alvacado tasted like it was fried in old grease. The meal also had a taco in a flour tortilla. The cheese had already "jelled" and was hard. My husband wasn't pleased either. I wish we had checked yelp before spending $65 for the meal/tip. The waitress was very good. It was her first day working alone and she did an excellent job. She's the only reason I didn't complain while we were there. Came here with a friend today, and overall, everything was great! Los Cucos is a great chain go to for Mexican food. Drinks are consistent and options are vast, and the same goes for the rest of the menu options. We started with queso and their flour chips, which are always an awesome go to. Then, of course, their chips and salsa are amazing! The guacamole though, at least what we were brought out, was SO BLAND!! Prices are a bit extreme though. For a good fajita plate or one that has fish, you're looking at close to $30 per plate. I got the fish cancun, and was really disappointed in how small my plate was. The salmon was an extra $4, and not worth it at all. Both my husband and best friend got a fajita plate with shrimp, and the shrimp tails were burnt to where they were literally crumbling on the table. Overall though, we will certainly go back, just might choose some cheaper options, and no guacamole. read more
