So I am visiting from out of town and I was looking for something to eat. So I jumped on maps and said food and it brought up a list of places. OMG seafood was one of them and because I like seafood I decided to check it out. It took me to YELP and I looked at the reviews. Reviews had good ones but the last few were bad so I was a little scared but I said let's go try it. When I got to the place only one car. I was scared at this point. One of the bad reviews said they were dirty and not clean. However the place had very large windows so I could see in from the car and the place was clean so I went in. I received great service! Told the lady I never been here before and she made some suggestions. The one person inside said get the gumbo. As I looked over the menu at the counter I could see they had a drive threw and it was busy so I was a little more happy. I ordered the boiled combo shrimp, crab and sausage. They lady asked me did I hear you right that you have never been here before. I said yes that is correct. She said I will give you a sample of the gumbo. Wow the gumbo was outstanding and I will come back tomorrow for lunch and get that. As for the boil combo I loved that as well. I'm so glad I did not listen to the other reviews because this place was great. I wish I had something like this where I live. I will have to enjoy it for two days before I leave. Ok this is going to sound bad but I do recommend this place, however the last time I ordered from here I think I got seafood poisoning and was sick all weekend. The problem is the food here is so friggin delicious that I haven't learned my lesson and I will be back. I had the fried catfish and shrimp platter which is what I always get. It's so good y'all it's worth getting sick to be honest. Or maybe I'm just a fatty but they honestly have the best fried fish in Brazos Valley. Having lived in the West Bank of NOLA. it's been a long time since I've been able to find somewhere that has food even close to all the mom and pop's shops in Gretna, La Place, and the crescent city areas. This is pretty dang near being back there, especially their Aggie sausage boil. read more

After like a year, I wanted to give this place one more chance. Big mistake, huge. At 7:48 I pulled up and got in line for the drive thru behind 2 cars. At 8:01 I finally got my 1 lb of crawfish.... They put the crawfish in a ziplock bag. When I got home I pulled the bag out of the grocery bag and the ziplock bag wasn't fully sealed so the sauce spilled all over me. Now to the crawfish- it was cold, not spicy, and tasted like chicken stock. Maybe my flavor taste is off but it did not taste like good crawfish. It wasn't seasoned but they gave you 2 oz of crab seasoning and I poured the whole thing in the bag and shook it. Even then, there was barely any spice. Overall just really disappointing. For $10 it's not even that cheap compared to all of the other places around that have crawfish. read more

The owner of this place is very nice, and I think most people should give this place a try! While not particularly busy inside when I went, it may be of note that this place also offers a drive through. Food came out in a reasonable time. The gumbo came out piping hot, and I've heard good things about the shrimp. However, the container the gumbo came in was a little small which made it messy to eat, but that should be an expectation for anyone going to a cajun restaurant. read more

I went at the beginning of February. Seafood gumbo was not available. I don't think they have free water provided. The place is small with around 11 4-people tables. It's more like a to-go place, and you have drive thru option. Me and my friend ordered seafood combo, 2 lbs boiled crawfish, and one fish kid meal to share. There's no dipping sauce for the fried shrimp and fish. The fried shrimp is tasty but the fish is just okay. The rolls comes with the fried food are really dry and not soft at all. The crawfish is spicy and I really like it. But probably bc if the season, crawfish is a bit small tho. Everything is in to-go box or bags. Overall it's a good place for order to go read more

I am not happy with scores less than 80. I saw the health report just after I had ordered. I thought "What have I gotten myself into?" What I had gotten myself into was paradise. Never have I so fallen in love with a plate of shrimp. The plain boiled shrimp is boiled in the shell in Cajun Good Stuff. Shells are integral to keeping the flavor of shrimp. Cajun Good Stuff gives you massive flavor that the shells can keep in. You can taste the Cajun Good Stuff in every single bite of shrimp. If I had been a purist Yelp reviewer - I would eaten the shrimp pure and naked totally enjoying the subtleties of the Cajun Good Stuff. But OMG also gives you a bowl of Cajun Dry Rub to dip your shrimp in. If Cajun Good Stuff is the Genie of the Ring, Cajun Dry Rub is the Genie of the Lamp. Add to this a cup of melted butter. Cajun Good Stuff Shrimp plus Cajun Dry rub plus Melted Butter Equals The Stars Exploding. The Sun and the Moon Go Straight to the Motel Room. There was no holding back. Shrimp and Dry Rub and Butter Oh Yeah Shrimp and Dry Rub and Butter Oh Yeah. I took the smallest possible bites to have the maximum opportunity to rub my Cajun shrimp in dry rub and butter. I made that shrimp last as long as I can. A half pound of shrimp does not look like a lot. But it is in fact a pretty generous portion. I waddled out of OMG when I was done. (The three boiled potatoes and the corn on the cob didn't hurt matters any.) Note that the official hours of this establishment are strictly advisory. They serve when they want to serve. They don't serve when they don't want to serve. They felt like closing up a half hour early that night and that's just what they did. If you don't like it, you can go to Long John Silver's across the street. But if they serve shrimp like that, then in my opinion, they can do whatever they want. 1st visit & I wasn't very impressed...The shrimp & crab were good, but not spectacular. We ordered the OMG platter that includes 2 crab clusters, 16 shrimp, 2 sausages and corn & potatoes for about $35, which is a pretty good deal. They only sell drinks by the can. You order at the counter and pick up your food when your name is called. It is one of the better places we've found for seafood in college station. (Which is unfortunate). Parking area is small and the interior is small as well and could definitely use a deep cleaning. My daughter did enjoy it and we would probably return to give it another try and see if my opinion improves. read more

I really really like this place. The owner is nice and I can get my crawfish fix. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family. I will say the crawfish early in the season can be small, though I believe that is to be expected when it is early. During the season this place is the BOMB. You can get some huge crawfish at a great price. The parking is a little hard in a big truck but we always make it work. Also the line can get quite long at the drive though. The shrimp is well cooked but not well seasoned tasted a Little plain. I got 2 Aggie bags for $8.99 each which felt well portioned I just wish the food had more flavor. Service was slow I believe because it's a small business I didn't mind the wait too much definitely go inside because the drive thru takes twice as long then going inside and placing an order to go. OMG! Some of the best fried shrimp and fries that I've had. It's better than some of the high end restaurants. Location is not the best but well worth it. Food is always fresh and inexpensive. OMG by far has the best crawfish in the BCS area. Unlike other places around town, this crawfish wasn't drowned in butter or spiced beyond belief. I've tried 4 crawfish places within the last 2 weeks and this was the cheapest and best tasting. We got little cups of butter and seasoning we could add to our preference. I don't know why this is rated 3.5 stars- the facility is clean, service was quick, and the food was excellent. And it's BYOB! read more

The shrimp were old, over cooked, under seasoned, and tasted awful. I ordered the Aggie Bag and my husband had a pound of crawfish and a side of potatoes and corn. My shrimp and the crawfish were really good but the potatoes were salty. And she replied "I've never heard of that." At a Cajun seafood restaurant? I went on a Friday, and she said their truck didn't come in until the next day, which is why they were out of crawfish (anything) and crab. I had only bought crawfish and boiled shrimp bags through the drive thru before and this was my first time actually sitting inside. 1st red flag was that there was only 1 visible employee and that was the lady at the register. She was taking orders, answering the phone, doing drive thru and bringing food out. It was lunch time and you would think they would have more than 1 person working. It shouldn't take 15 minutes just to place an order when there are only 2 people in front of you. The employee was nice but I could tell this was a normal thing since she didn't even look flustered or rushed. Tables were dirty and if you wanted a side of butter or other condiments not prepackaged you probably had to wait another 10 minutes just to get them. I thought the food would make up for the service and everything else but boy was I wrong. I ordered fried fish with shrimp and fries and a roll. Everything excluding the roll was SALTY!
