Ordered takeout of two Fajita Steak Taco salads. The menu stated sautéed onions and peppers and with steak on a taco shell bowl. The onions and peppers were not sautéed and raw and just a few pieces. There was about 4 to 5 very tiny pieces of steak and it was 95% Lettuce with a little sour cream. They charged us almost $12 each and it was not worth $3. Let's talk about the crazy 18% for the take out orders they have. They give you the smallest bag of chips possible even when you order a large cheese dip. The rudeness is unmatched when we called to confirm the 18% charge he (the manager) said you have the choice to go else where this is absolutely why I won't be back even after the bull crap with the virus is over 18% is excessive as hell. And I rather support a small business that cares about people. Beware: Charged my party of two automatic gratuity because of Cinco De Mayo. At least that is what I was told but it was never communicated through signs or on the menu before service. I didn't find out until I received the bill. I was informed that everyone was being charged automatic gratuity this day regardless of party size because it was Cinco De Mayo. But that was not the case, I asked another customer of a different persuasion, was his party of two charged gratuity automatically as well and THEY were not! When I asked to talk with a manager, I was told that they were busy by my waitress. I then requested a full refund of the automatic gratuity charge on the spot and it was given. To legally charge an automatic gratuity, the restaurant must communicate this policy ahead of time through signage or on menus. Los Charros did not. I've been taking my kids here the last several weeks for taco Tuesdays. Basic tacos for a buck a piece. Usually a great experience. Tonight my dad was with us. Our server was good, but when dad insisted on picking up the check he paid two $20s on a $20 ticket and the server only brought back $10 in change. Then she and two other servers argued that he had given her a $10. This felt more like a scam to steel $10 bucks rather than a simple mistake. Love this place. My wife and I have been coming here over 3 years. Our waiter is Edgar and we absolutely only want to be sitting at his table. He gets our food out in a timely manner and also checks on us. The staff is always pleasant and the restaurant is always clean. On Wednesday the Margaritas are only $2.50 & live music is great! I came up to visit my God parents and when I mentioned I needed a Margarita, they took me here. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bean dip!!! I never was crazy about bean dip or ate it, but my God mum told me to try it. It was awesome. The Margarita's are pretty decent too. The rest of the food wasn't all that to me and being that I grew up around a quite a few Mexicans, I've had better so the next time I come to visit I'll just make sure to eat good to be able to drink those 'Ritas and have enough room for that bean dip! Just be sure that you call first on the bathroom at home if you get the bubble guts like moi from eating Mexican lol! read more

I have been to this place a few times over the years. All I can say is the food is just OK. The service is very very slow - not enough waiters for the number of tables. I had a problem on my last visit - the waitress was great about it, the manager was not and acted like I was the one with the problem, not the kitchen's undercooked chicken. You are not welcome at the bar on trivia night: all seats are for regulars. Karaoke night is when children get up and murder songs at high volume-yes I AM SERIOUS! Children singing at karaoke! Some bartenders (all women) just so rude I can't believe it. This place is, essentially, the worst of the worst. Over the past few years, I have ordered more take out from different restaurants. Sometimes the order was incorrect. But, in these few instances the manager was considerate and attentive. That is until I ordered take out from Los Charros Mexican Restaurant located at 3560 GA-20, Conyers, GA on February 7, 2023. On this date, I stopped by the restaurant and placed an order, which included two fajita mixes. I asked the server, Ali, if the order was correct. She quickly glanced at it and said yes. However, when preparing to eat the fajita mixes at home, we noticed the flour tortillas were missing. I immediately called the restaurant and talked to Ali. She said that she remembered me. I shared that I was unable to drive back to the restaurant. Ali told me that she would be working the next day and could provide extra tortillas, which perplexed me. But the next day I decided to intentionally take the time to drive back to the restaurant. I arrived asked if the restaurant could provide me with two two fajita mix orders with the previous missing flour tortillas. Ali said no. I then asked her if she could at least go and explained my situation to the manager and ask if he could provide a correct order of fajita mixes. She went to the back and returned with a young man who said he was a manager. I explained everything that had happened to him and he responded, "I can't help you." It is sad and disappointing that my initial order was not correct, that I used my time and gas to drive back to the restaurant. I will not return to this restaurant. read more

Went on a Friday night and the place was mostly empty. They have a burrito on the menu that, if you finish it, wins you a free t-shirt and a dessert on the house. The burrito was nothing special, but I wanted the shirt. The two main highlights were the service (our server was fantastic) and the free chips and salsa. I would have considered a higher rating if it weren't for the experience my family had at this restaurant tonight. Long story short, the food is okay and the service wasn't crap but the overall experience was ruined by a trashy, obnoxious, and drunk group of people who quite obviously have too much rapport with the owners or management to care to uphold any morals, values or consideration for others. This group of individuals was excessively LOUD and oblivious to aaaanyone else in the room trying to enjoy a decent family dinner on Valentines Day. They hollered, cackled like old hens, and chose to curse like sailors, talk about drugs and other inappropriate topics as if there weren't many children next to them or as if they had protection from management. Which they apparently did because I expressly complained twice to management to try to have them told to be more mindful and either management refused to say anything or these clowns simply couldn't care less about anyone but themselves. I confronted the woman who appeared to be the ringleader HAG and simply stated that she dampened our family dinner with her antics and she laughed when I told her I complained about the noise and her blatant disregard for others and her lack of self control. She proudly responded by saying " yea well they'll never throw us outta here cuz we've been coming here for 20 years".....I thought to myself, Excuuuse me? Your dollar is no different than anyone else's crazy lady....Instead I said Id never stoop so low to try and have them removed but I was hoping she would be encouraged to be more mindful that its a FAMILY restaurant, NOT A BAR and that she was ruining others ppls night by yelling over the music and every other voice in the room. She was even louder than the LIVE singer they featured in the restaurant and even heckled her while she was performing. Pure TRASH! Management should have said SOMETHING but because they did nothing, they have HOPEFULLY lost enough business from this review that they are inclined to tell her to behave like a reasonably well-raised human being the next time her and her goonies return with her. I really wish we had gone somewhere else and I'd advise anyone reading this to do just that! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR DINNER IF YOU HAVE IMPRESSIONABLE CHILDREN OR HOME TRAINING; They will ruin your night and the staff is either okay with it or too afraid to speak up. Its awful. Id have even been happier going to sit inside a Taco Bell for that level of annoyance we experienced. END RANT read more
