My sister recently moved to conyers and we've been looking for really good Mexican food in the area . Unfortunately we've had a few not so great experiences so we were very l glad to have finally have a win with this location. Ordered Togo a Bravos Dinner Steak and Beef Chimichanga . While I prefer my chimichangas to be pan fried a bit it was absolutely delicious. I loved how fresh every was and really loved the char flavor on the beef . Also ordered a side of rice while it needed a little more flavor with salt and pepper it's complementd my meal well. Loved The queso and the salsa and chips are perfect. As someone who doesn't care for the taste of refried beans it was the first time I actually enjoyed it. When we arrived the guy at the front register was great, friendly and was surprised that he knew the nam and order just by hearing our voice saying we had an order for pick up . Especially being that it was busy and there were a few orders still needing to be picked up . Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and feel like the TO-Go service is an afterthought but not here. This place... is ok. Not bad. Not great. But ok. I wouldn't be mad eating here once in a while. Get a margarita or two either friends and you'll enjoy yourself. The experience here was up and down. Some of the food was pretty good, and some was highly disappointing. The chicken strips were dry, and the carnitas bland. The desert followed suit with the cheesecake rolls being overcooked and the ice cream being too hard. The steak, sauteed onions, shrimp, beans, and rice were very good, though. We normally go on 1st Saturday of the month because they have a DJ in the back. Great music and DJs. Food & customer service is a different story. When you mentioned you are there for the DJ area. They point you in that direction, no menus. Once you locate your own seats (not a problem). You have to wait until a server arrives with menus. Which takes a minute. Note: this area is always understaffed. The food is ok, NOTHING special at all. The wings are very salty especially the lemon pepper wings. I ordered fish tacos, it's took them over 30 minutes before the tacos arrived. The server said they ran out of fish & had to go to the grocery store for more. read more

My father introduced me to this place and I must say it's a nice restaurant. My first impression of this joint was that it was clean and felt Mexican. Food wise on the other hand, I'd have to agree with reviewer Broderick S when he says that it certainly didn't taste authentic Mexican. We ordered a Ceviche Camaron and the Carne Asada tacos (See pictures). The food itself was tasty but certainly didn't satisfy the craving for true mexican food. The serving sizes were generous. Also, we were given tortilla chips and salsa. Prices seemed reasonable to a bit high, and the service was not bad. Tip: If your server seems grumpy, talk to them in Spanish and be kind to them for better service. We enjoyed the experience overall, and will probably be back eventually. Honestly I don't think any of the workers here would be caught dead serving this foodn to their relatives back in Mexico. This is not a bad place to go. Just not the best. The service changes and food remains ok. The drinks are good here too. If they are busy you can expect to get bad service and wait. Their is also little space for people to sit when there is a wait and I'd you are sitting up front you have to deal with that when you are trying to eat. The food is always delicious, the service is friendly and prompt (even if their English isn't always fluent), and the margaritas are on point. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Conyers area. We visited on Saturday night before Christmas and our group of five adults were seated immediately. The chips were warm and the cheese dip and salsa were great. Our table ordered the Spinach Quesadilla, Steak and Shrimp Fajitas, Chicken Taco Salad, Fajita Quesadilla, and Enchilada Plate. The Steak and Shrimp Quesadilla came on a sizzling plate and was a delicious and generous portion. Make sure you get the refried beans which are very good. All of our dinners were as good as it gets! The waiter was nice but brief and it was difficult to hear her over the music. Store bought chips and salsa would've been gourmet compared to what I was served. I ordered the Pollo Hawaiian and was even more disappointed in that. The chicken was low-grade tendon and fat filled and cooked at such a temperature that it became firm and not juicy, the chorizo was almost flavorless, rice poorly prepared and flavorless, the beans were obviously from a can with no additional seasoning. Worst meal I've ever paid for. The waiter didn't bother to ask why I didn't eat the chicken or if I enjoyed my meal and the cashier made no attempt to ascertain the quality of my experience. I had the worst time there. I went with a party of 6 and never even got served. After 2 whole hours of waiting the waiter came back because we called him over. He took our order twice because he had lost our order. How do you lose a party of 6 order? We asked for the manager and told us he was also the manager. Even the line cook was a manager. We never got his name. We asked other waiters and no one helped us. After all of the horror we got kicked out. We went to Chili's and had an amazing experience. This is a really relaxed atmosphere. It's always busy, but the service is quick, the beer is cold, and the food is delicious. I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed.
