I ordered takeout on Thursday evening. My food was ready when I arrived. The restaurant is small, but nice. There's an outside patio area, as well. The bartender that gave me the bag was nice. I had the Texas Fajita and the Chunky Guacamole. The meat was seasoned well, but quite oily for me. The rice was bland, but palatable. The chunky guacamole was fresh, but also bland and could use some lime. The chips were very thick to me, but they give you a good amount for takeout. Very tasty Mexican food. Stoped in for lunch with family. The server brought out two baskets of chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa was very good. We also ordered a guacamole appetizer for the table. The menu is several pages and it was a difficult decision, but I went with the carne asada. It came out sizzling on a pile of onions. I made a great choice. All of the other food looked outstanding. My wife's food was very good There is a small bar area as well as an outdoor area. The service was good. This has become our new favorite Mexican restaurant! Our second time eating here. Both times we have gotten it to go. I cannot say anything about the ambience of the restaurant as I have never been the one to go in and pick up the order. The food though (that's what matters anyway, right?) the FOOD! OMG! SO delicious! Both times I have had the grilled steak chimichangas with fajita style veggies. Melt in my mouth scrumptious! The steak is tender and not full of gristle like I've had at other restaurants. The beans are delicious and even the rice is good! (I'm not usually a fan of Mexican rice. It's usually so bland! Not here! I can't recommend this restaurant enough! When you order to-go they give you chips and salsa for EACH order too! Not just one to share! The person that's taken our order both times has also been fabulous so I'm sure the inside service is just as good or better. Reasonably priced - AWESOME FOOD - and great service. Combos are super good and large portions, according to how much you can eat or how hungry you are , we always have left overs to warm up for later and I especially like this. I must say, this place is really good. I had the Burrito Supreme yesterday and was pretty good and filling. Can't beat that for $6. Today I had some sort of bowl, and it was amazing!!! The lady next to us ordered some Shrimp Fajitas Nachos and they looked amazing. I will probably try that next time. The chips and salsa are pretty good as well. They bring out a huge bowl for the salsa, so you don't have to keep asking for refills every few bites. I believe it's the best Mexican Restaurant in the Ola area, hands down!!! Food was OK and service OK but the after meal service was the worst I have ever seen. They double charged our card and then when we called the crap "manager" was extremely rude causing my wife to hang up on her. This was the first time she has done that in her life. When my wife told the "manager" that they had doubled billed us she said "No we didn't that is impossible and we don't make that mistake" Well here you go in black and white. The only thing in the area to eat other than gaas eta at ion pizza and Dollar General. Bar is overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. Steaks, a laparilla, are microwaved and overcooked. You would be better to open a can off cat food and get better flavor and a more memorable experience. Being that this is the only option, I use it when I'm hungry and don't want to drive 15 miles to town. Thankfully there is a Publix coming soon to the area and hopefully there wIll be a true, authentic, moderately priced Mexican restaurant when it finishes development. So disappointed. We typically eat at this restaurant twice a month or more. At our last visit, we ordered nachos to share. We asked to add guacamole (+ $1.50, according to the menu). The waitress asked "smooth or chunky?" We asked what the difference was. She responded "chunky has tomatoes, onions, jalapeños," we said "chunky!" She proceeded to bring our food along with the guacamole which we happily ate. When we received our bill, we were charged $9.75 for guacamole. We asked her why we were charged this when we just wanted to add guacamole to our nachos. She responded "you ordered chunky." We said yes we did, but we didn't know that it would be $9.75 instead of $1.50, like it says on the menu. She responded (sarcastically) "well you ate it." After trying to speak to her we asked for the manager on duty. We received the same response, "well you ate it. What do you want me to do about it? Refund you? After you ate it?" Just very disappointed by the up-charge (not $1.50, but $9.75!) Sad to say that after the way we were treated, they just lost $150 or more a month from our family. read more

I stopped here for lunch today and I'm very pleased that I did. The staff gave me a warm friendly welcome and I was seated immediately. I was indecisive about what I wanted to order but as soon as I opened the menu I was sold by the first picture without even knowing what came in the dish! The salsa was terrific served with fresh hot chips. The food was even better for only 9$ I received an enormous amount of food ( so much that I took half of it home with me, but that's never a bad thing) This was my first visit and I'll be sure to stop here anytime I visit this area again. read more

The food and service were great. We have been here several times and have had mostly great service. Even if something went wrong, it was quickly handled and made right without attitude. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that we sat on the patio outside and I feel that they could do more to create a more accommodating atmosphere to customers. The food here has always been a bit dry and bland for Mexican cuisine but it's close to Sandy Ridge Park where our daughter had softball practice so we tried to go there last night. Their hours advertised online have a closing time of 10pm although on the door it says 9pm. We were planning on meeting 8 other families from the team and we were the first to arrive. We walked in and there were people eating at about 4 or 5 tables and a few people were at the bar. There were probably about 7 tables that needed to be cleaned off. A female employee got up from the table she was sitting at and said, "We're closed." I asked her what time they closed and she said that they close at 9. I remember looking at my phone after seeing the different hours in the door as we walked in and it was 8:47. I told her that it wasn't 9 and she said that it was close enough and they were closed. We were escorted to the door and it was locked behind us. They made it very clear that our business was not wanted. We will never step foot in this establishment ever again. We ended up all meeting at Chick-fil-A where we were welcomed and had great service with a smile. read more

This restaurant was one of the worst establishments I have ever experienced in my life. When we got there, there where flies buzzing everywhere and there were dead bugs everywhere. When our food came out it was cold and the food tasted awful. The tables were wobbly and the chairs creaked and I almost fell getting out of them. Was there Friday night (3-2-18) for a dinner with some friends. My wife ordered the Burrito Mexican. She had eaten about a quarter of the burrito when she chewed on something that was very bitter. At first she thought it was a bad pepper. She told our waitress of the issue and she took the plate away. When the waitress came back she had what she told us was a lemon they used to cook with that somehow ended up in the burrito...Rhine and all. She asked the waitress if they always served cooked lemons and she said that's just the way they prepared it and walked away. We declined taking the rest of the burrito home.
