I came here for a solo lunch the other day, and this was my first time here. I ordered a skinny margarita. However, I didn't taste the alcohol in the drink, but I didn't need all the extra calories, so I just dealt with it. Of course, Los Cabos is your typical Mexican restaurant. The menu included quesadillas, nachos, taco salad, and much more. I've heard great things about this restaurant, so that I will give it another try, but I need for them to add a little bit more alcohol into my skinny margarita next time, please.

Soo I finally found a good Mexican spot on Yelp that's located in Southaven, Ms and it was delicious too. We had a great experience tonight. The ambiance is very welcoming, the colors are beautiful and the staff is also helpful and very friendly. They have Amazing food and Drinks here (The Texas Chicken Chimichanga) is now my favorite and the rice and black beans was pretty good as well . I tried the grilled corn and it was also pretty good and of course the cheese dip. "You can't have Mexican food without cheese dip " lol! Oh, And they have these huge drinks , i only had the small tornadoes (it' was very strong too) but I'm not a drinker so I only had the one drink . But to sum up my review , I give them 5 stars. The experience here was great. So I will definitely be back again and again ....

I don't have any pictures for this visit because we are doing this thing where on weekends we don't touch our cell phones, and we came here Saturday night so....... I expected to have a bit of a wait as we showed up for dinner on a Saturday night but nope! We were seated right away. We didn't get any menus for a few minutes though, and in the interim a waiter came (sans menus, mind you) and asked for our drink orders and if we wanted any appetizers. Well, I don't know if you're a Coke joint or a Pepsi joint since we didn't have any menus. And I don't know what you have for apps because, you guessed it, no menus. One member ordered a sweet tea but it came unsweet. Food is pretty good, it's the service is just sooo disjointed!! We dealt with 4 different people throughout our meal bringing things or taking orders and bringing out food etc.... And man is it loud inside. I don't mean the clientele is loud, it's the acoustics of the place. I'll probably go here again some time but with a plethora of really good Mexican places in the area it'll be a minute I'm sure.

A whole meal! Also in the picture are some fajita nachos, chicken enchiladas con queso, y guacamole!

Date night with my honey! The environment was friendly and fun. We weren't seated more than a few minutes before the waiters brought out chips & salsa! We browsed the menu for a few minutes and decided to order some additional dips for our chips (queso and guacamole). They were yummy! We then ordered a few Tornado margaritas, which are not for the weak, if you like your drinks STRONG. Our food came out in a timely manner and was nothing short of delicious. The waiters were fast & knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back soon!

There was music playing the whole time but not loud at all - loud enough you could hear it but it didn't impede upon your conversations in the slightest. And by the way the music they had playing last night (Tuesday Feb 10 2026) was EXCELLENT!! I felt like I was at a bar from my youth with that soundtrack. We started with 2 appetizers, pub pretzels and the Celtic queso dip. The pretzels came with honey mustard and some of the queso. The Celtic queso has tortillas and what appeared to be house made potato chips. Both were very good! The 2 adults had some beer on tap. A Yeungling and a 201 Hoplar. Kid (well he is 21 but doesn't drink) had a coke. Entrees were a smash burger with fries, a Buffalo chicken sliders with onion rings, and a shepherds pie with mashed potatoes and gravy and okra. Everything was very good! Often fried things are either over or under done and come out not great however whoever was working the fryer was on it because the onion didn't pull out of the rings when you bit it and the okra was still nice inside the breading. Excellent waitress who kept checking on us and nice environment. What's not to like!! Definitely will return.

But I was super impressed with the quality of the food! I expected a dive. And it is. But the food was fabulous!! Also, our waitress was excellent. Kudos to her. The inside is fun. Definite dive bar energy. We went all in. Appetizers, drinks, entrees. I regret nothing. We started with the queso appetizer and the pub pretzels. Both were very tasty. My one and only critique is that I wished the queso appetizer included some veggies like celery or carrots or something other than just chips. My son ordered the smash burger. Husband got the shepherds pie. I got the buffalo sliders. I like my buffalo chicken to be saucy. So I requested extra sauce. The kitchen seemed to misunderstand and instead of extra saucy, they put my sauce on the side and none on the chicken. Our waitress offered to send it back. That was not necessary. So she brought me lots of extra sauce. Incredible. The sauce was excellent. The chicken was excellent!!! Superb quality. Honestly, quite possibly the highest quality piece of chicken I've had on a chicken sandwich. Tender, moist, flavorful, and a large piece of meat. Very very impressed. I got the onion rings, at the suggestion of our waitress. They were fantastic. Washed it all down with a Yuengling. Truly, I can't say enough about this place. I was highly impressed. Most of the other customers appeared to be regulars who were seated at the bar. There were only a few groups seated at traditional tables. It was a Tuesday evening so I'm sure it's much busier on a Friday or Saturday. Oh - and just as we were leaving, they were setting up for karaoke. Apparently Tuesdays are karaoke night. Oh! And! The check was $77. That's with three beers, a Coke, two appetizers, three entrees! Not bad. Not bad at all!!

Space looks like an old warehouse but nice and plenty of space. The hostesses were super friendly and got us sat rather quickly. Breanna was our server. I gave 4 stars as the food is really good. The runners get it out pretty quickly and everything on the menu looks amazing, including the drinks. I took away a star as the service left a LOT to be desired. We saw Breanna when we ordered, as the runner put down our meal-she asked if it looked okay. We never saw her again until we were done with our meal. Not checking on us after we've taken a bite, asked for refills, tried to offer desserts-nothing. It wasn't that busy so very discouraging that you couldn't check on us, remove a plate, grab a drink... nothing. We would probably come back because of the menu but customer service is everything. Although we always tip 20+ percent, there were so many missed opportunities to increase the total of our bill or at least fill up our drinks.

She said they had a great time and the ambiance was also great! To bad that cant be said about the food. I called in a order for the Roast Beef sandwich with their version of some thick seasoned curved potatoes. I also got a bowl of the Lobster Bisque. After dropping them off. I got home with my food and opened the box. I found what looked like a very good sandwich with some au jus. The potatoes also looked very good. I started with the Lobster Bisque. This was the most horrible tasting Bisque I have ever had. It didnt have any Lobster in it and had a very weird, almost sour taste (Not Good At All!) I decided to try the RB sandwich. Unfortunately it was soooooo salty that I couldn't eat it. The au jus was oddly very bland. The potatoes were also extremely salty. I have had things a little overly salty before and just worked through it. This sandwich was so salty it burned my tongue! I could not belive it. The two stars are for the bar and venue. If based on the food I received. It wouldn't have gotten even one star. I can honestly say it was by far the worst food I have ever had. If you go for the drinks and music, you will be fine. I would strongly warn you against the food. After talking with my wife. Their food was the same way. Someone their dont know the limits to salt or how to make a proper bisque!

It is a wine bar but there are other delicious cocktails on the menu as well. The lemon drop was great. The wine process works like this. You tell the wait staff you want to do the wine and they take your payment card and give you a tasting card to use at the self serve machine. There are different price points for different amounts of wine. There are many different types of options to choose from. This helped me leave out with new options for wine at home. This is a pretty small establishment so I recommend you to make a reservation to be sure you can get in. The decor and wall is very elegant. It was very fitting for girls night. They have small plate foot options like flatbread and meat and cheese plates which are great snacks to eat while sipping. If you're seeking something more hearty I would suggest eating before coming as we did. The server and hostess were nice and accommodating. I will definitely be back.

Our waiter, Max, Mac (???) was 18 and therefore could not help with any adult beverage recommendations. Ordered the Butchers Bacon Rack (similar to Porch &Parlor but NOT), when asked, he could not tell us the difference in flavors, not a good experience to even know which we liked or did not. Perhaps this is a learning opportunity/retraining for the restaurant. He was not knowledgeable of the many things. It offers 1st job or owner's son type of job. The entree's were basic at best, the 20% gratuity for the service received did not align and restaurants do that on purpose. There isn't an incentive for waitstaff to offer above and beyond experiences. I had the Crab Stuffed Shrimp, I cannot recall anything memorable (see photo). One of the guest had Fried Green Tomatoes, those were yummy and the Calamari was tasty. The saxophonist was AMAZING, he brings a great background atmosphere unexpected than the food. Listening to him along with appetizers would have been enough for us!! That said, visit at your own risk. For me and my guests we will not be returning.
