Food is always great and they have really good specials every day. I would recommend no matter what the occasion! Service was great also!

Best Unique Salsa; Cilantro Salsa! This is the newest location my coworkers seem to favor. I have been here a few times and the food is pretty good. They give complimentary pico de gallo salsa and do a great job of serving us every time we visit. The decor seems like an updated version of the other restaurants in this chain so it's more visually appealing to visit this location. Other than that, it seems like exactly the same food and everything. I highly suggest mixing the Cilantro Salsa and White Cheese Dip as they taste great together. The fish tacos are tilapia, which were ok but unsurprisingly I wasn't as fond of them as I might've been with different fish. The chicken fajitas were surprisingly juicy and yummy. Also, the drinks were great and cheap- they have great deals! I know I'll end up here again and I'll be pleased to return. To Try: Chicken Cheese and Rice Waffle Nachos Burrito Al Pastor Shrimp Embrujados Biste Picado Pollo Ranchero Pollo Fundido Pollo Mi Pueblo Chilaquiles Love: - Chicken Fajitas (get next time!) - Drink: Buttery Nipple (fav) - Drink: Peach Daquiri - Drink: Sex on the Beach (fav) - Drink: Strawberry Margarita - Quesadilla: Special Fajita - Rice - Salsa: Cilantro - White Cheese Dip Like: - Burrito: California - Salsa Ok: - Burrito: Verde with grilled chicken - Drink: Margarita (House) - Drink: Walk Me Down (aka Adios Motherf***er) - Tacos: Fish (Tilapia) Nah: - Beans

This is my absolute favorite place to get Mexican food in Southaven! Having come here at least dozen times, this review is overdue, though it will be very generalized. Rancho Grande used to be at this location. When they built a new location, I thought I would simply be going to their new location. However, after their opening, they have been plagued with horrendous parking issues and underwhelming service. Enter the newest Mi Pueblo location. First, the decor. It creates a very clean, welcoming environment. Second, the staff. Everyone is very polite, helpful and welcoming. Thirdly, the drinks are very competitively priced. Fourth, the food is great. I always have an insatiable desire to burn my mouth off and they're always more than happy to oblige. Finally, this will sound silly and out of place, but the bathroom is always, always, always, super immaculate. So much so one could even eat their meal there should they ever run out of space. Not something I ever really pay much attention to until I have seen it done right, by them. Since there sadly aren't many reviews, I will have to add more pictures on the next trip!

Last time I went to MiPueblo I ordered the Skinny Nachos. They are so good. A little spicy, but not bad.

She did seem a bit busy and forgot about me a couple of times, but honestly, I didn't mind (this time)...I enjoyed the solo time to people-watch and savor my meal. I was seated near the kitchen alongside a group of younger waitresses, and the section filled with customers was mostly small groups and couples. Unfortunately, one young waitress (I'd guess around 18-20) was loudly using profanity, dropping F-bombs and openly saying she didn't care. It came across as rude and unprofessional, and I hope that kind of behavior doesn't become a reflection of the restaurant in the future. On a positive note, the lunch fajitas were delicious and a very generous portion. Despite the distraction in my seating area by the cussing, disgruntled young waitress, the food and my waitress's, Taniyah, friendly service stood out.

I have found this place to be pretty consistent in my experiences…read more Granted.... I have only eaten one item here myself. I have now had the wife and a kid come too. They agree with me on my point of view, so here we go. My first visit I was totally skeptical. I had read the reviews, which seemed overwhelmingly positive. This is other than the asshats who get mad when they spend 8 hours of their "hard earned pay", and the all time classic of they "ain't happy this time, after all these years, they pissed me off this time" two star reviews. Side note: Spread the love when you can, and write good reviews when you have good experiences. Don't wait and write a bad one after one bad visit. Ugh. You walk in and it's bright, loud, hectic, gringos everywhere! I knew from the drop, as soon as I walked through the door it's far from authentic Mexican food, but totally "Mississippian Top of the Sip Mex" ™. That's another new one, you can use that one, as long as you pay me. Contact me for details, we can work something out. My number is (662) 513-0796. Now that the legal stuff is out of the way. Resuming.... My first visit, when my completely American server walked up and greeted me I was offered a "MS TOTSM" gosh durn bible of concoctions consisting of the same thing repurposed to trick the high brow MS masses to believe they have choices. I had not realized El Agave and Tate Reeves had so much in common. Stay on track, Adam!! This is Yelp! One thing stuck out to me that you generally see in decent Tex Mex to real deal Mexican food where no one speaks English. Chile Verde!!! I asked her about it, told her how reluctant I was ordering it based on her and my current environment (that brought a look), and she all she just said was "try it", so reluctantly I did. Sometimes I just need a lady to take control and tell me what to do. I'm there eating chips and salsa all patient and stuff... Boom! What comes out looks like baby poo. We might be on to something here!!! Could it be? The pork tips were swimming in green salsa, which was promising. I take a chip and dunk it in the verde.... Here we go! It's tangy, punchy, sweet, and spicy!!! Now all I need is the pork to not suck.... Holy shit!! It doesn't suck! It's actually good!!! Everything else is an afterthought. Rice. Blah. Beans. Blah. They are fine I guess. Just the norm, but the salsa on the pork steals the show!!! I eat it all up! I've came four or five times solo on lunch shopping excursions to Tanger and my Verde has always been a winner! On the family visit, C had a taco and an enchilada. Kiddo had the famous P-10, or MS Mush as I call it. They both ate it up so it must be good. Kid even took the rest home and ate it later. I'll be back for my baby poo pork! You can guarantee that!! The service staff were excellent. There needs to be an update on the taste of food and maybe update on the menu.

The restaurant is described as Latin/Mexican, though we noticed the kitchen staff didn't appear to be Latin or Hispanic, which stood out to us. One thing that surprised us was that chips and salsa are not complimentary. The menu itself is huge--burgers, quesadillas, bowls, fried fish, wings, and more--so it felt more like a mix of different cuisines than a traditional Mexican spot. We did order the chips and salsa, and honestly, that ended up being the best thing we had. For our entrées, I ordered the fried fish and my husband got the BBQ shrimp quesadilla. His quesadilla was extremely runny and messy, and the only flavor that really came through was the BBQ sauce it was heavily covered in. My fried fish portion was generous, but the flavor was just okay. I ended up eating only about two pieces. I also tried the blood orange margarita, which was decent but tasted like it barely had any alcohol in it. Overall, the service was pleasant, but the food and drinks didn't impress us enough to make us want to return.
