** Delivery order ** Ordered around 9:30pm, arrived in about 45 mins. Food was still warm. I ordered - Skirt steak w/white rice, red beans, sweet plantain - steak extremely thin & bit chewy. Beans and plantain alright. Tiramisu cake - decent sized slice that tasted pretty generic. Overall an okay place to eat. Price to portion ratio is disappointing, especially the steak. More of a last resort type of situation. read more

I have never taken the time to write a review until today. This place is the worst restaurant you can ever order from, it's ran by a bunch of morons to put it nicely. Placed an order of 83$...TWO BANDEJA PAISAS, colombiana soda, smoothie with milk and side orders. Food comes and first mistake is that we got the smoothie with water..... fine that's not so bad but then we open our food order. It's not steak...it's PORK. I called the restaurant to see if they had sent me the wrong order and they said "we didn't have steak so we sent you pork chops" They also said "we didn't have milk so we made the smoothie with water" Making the smoothie with water is understandable... but to send me a completely different meat is something I've never heard of and to do this without even consulting with the consumer is NOT okay. We didn't even get a call to ask if this was ok, because if this was the case I would've cancelled the order and ordered elsewhere. On top of this everything that came with the bandeja paisa was disgusting.... The food looked like it was cooked days ago and they just threw it in the microwave. The beans smelled rancid..who knows when the last time they actually changed those containers. And to top it all off, the Manager was absolutely no help. As I'm explaining the situation she goes "get to the point" and then proceeds to tell me that the workers don't know how to use a phone to call the costumers. I have never experienced this kind of disrespect.. what about the people that have food restrictions, allergies or even religious restrictions when it comes to food? They have the audacity to just replace and send whatever left over meat they have in their fridge. I should've read the reviews before ordering. Be very aware of this place before you waste your money here. read more

Omgosh this place is yummy. The reason for three stars is because they take forever to deliver and I'm literally up the block from them. Also they don't make the Chicharrones Del Pollo the way I'm accustom to. After doing my research it's a Dominican style of preparing fried chicken chunks. My friend and I usually order from here when we want a delicious bite to eat. Their beef stew with rice and Maduros never disappoints. Sometimes the beans are a hit or miss. On 12/11/19, I had a recent mishap with Los Bucaros. I placed an order for Bistec Encebollado via Grubhub. I was told I'll receive my order by 7:15, but it never came. I tried contacting the restaurant three times to check the status of my order. The restaurant didn't pick up the phone and I was unable to get in contact with anyone. I contacted customer service via Grubhub to cancel my order. They also tried calling but they were unable to reach anyone as well. 45 mins later a man shows up with my order. I am truly unhappy with the service and the failure of the restaurant to update me on the status of my order. The food is delicious but waiting 1.5 hours for food has left a sour taste in my mouth. I will take a break from ordering food from here. read more

I was excited to come here however it was a let down. When we enter (me and my partner) no one greeted us so we asked if we can sit anywhere, the cashier/server/host said "yes" and gave us ONE menu for both of us, I order a cubano sandwich which came less than 6-8 mins wrapped in a plastic lol, the meat was chewy & hard to eat. My boyfriend ordered narco which he needed to pour so much sauce so it can taste "good". The price was extremely affordable, I guess you pay what you get. Please don't sit outside it smell like trash & we had a dirty mop behind us from the restaurant. I won't be coming back but it was fun to "try" read more

The food arrived Cold. The order was missing items, I called the restaurant they blamed Grubhub for the missing items. I had to message Grubhub to get a refund on the missing items. I will never.order from this restaurant ever again. read more

I really wanted to give this place a higher rating but they are too inconsistent with their food. The first time I got the picada I fell in love and decided to make this my go to Colombian restaurant. The second time I got picada, instead of the marinated thinly sliced steak they gave me steak that was nothing but gristle. The plantains were substituted with potatoes. Who does that to picada??!! The first few times I got the garlic chicken it was heavenly. The last time I got it there was absolutely no flavor. They charge a premium for their food, much more than other Colombian restaurants I've visited, so they have no excuse for such inconsistencies. read more

La segunda vez que vengo... la carne fria no vale la pena. I ordered to eat in and this is the second time the meat was not cooked all the way. I ordered chiccaharon and they gave me 5 little pieces not even cooked right for $7 not worth it . I really feel like calling the health department. read more

Used to be great, and I ordered on a weekly basis. But the last 4 times the order went wrong. 1st time: in the bandeja paisa, burnt meats. Either burnt or re heated or old. 2nd time: gave it a chance. Same issue. 3rd time: I ordered a juice and received a margarita. Same color as the juice I ordered. I noticed it was alcohol when I tasted it. Huge problem is, I am allergic to agave which is in all tequilas. My tongue slightly swelled up just on a single sip. I called and complained and they blamed the delivery guy. It's the responsibility of the establishment to ensure the delivery guy takes the correct order. Girl on the phone wanted it back to give it to the right people and I was outraged, you CANNOT give it to someone else under normal circumstances, plus, I tasted it, but ESPECIALLY during a global PANDEMIC. I I threw it out and drank water. 4th time: I reluctantly ordered two bandejas, I'm tired of the limited options around here. Food looked good, except that they only brought one order not two. Disappointing but also expected. Get it together guys. Ps. Delivery came back with the second order, but the order is missing the side of beans. Smh. read more

Terrible service. I placed a delivery order today that took almost 2 hours!!!! And I lived literally two blocks away from the place. They told me delivery will take 35-40min never one hour and 40min. When I called within an hour, they told me my order had already left to give it 5min. After 35min more I called to cancel to then been informed that the delivery guy had forgpt my order in the restaurant!!! I said forget it cancel it, I don't want it. Within 10min the delivery came in, the food was cold, and what I order which was a grilled pork chop was not even griiled and the maduro was burned. Will not order again. Terrible! read more

I order very frequently from here and I have let it slide twice before when my order came very late, BUT not after I had my husband (who speaks Spanish) call multiple times to inquire why our order was taking so long. TODAY WAS THE LAST STRAW. Today - I placed my order at 5:52 PM. The approximate time of delivery was between 6:35-6:45. When I still didn't get my order at 7 PM, I had my husband call - the lady that picked up was EXTREMELY rude. When we told her that we didn't receive the order - her exact words in Spanish was - Oh, that's bad for you. Are you serious?! I can understand if they were delayed or if the delivery boy was late, but to be blatantly rude and you're already late with my food. That's unacceptable. The food is great but that doesn't mean anything if you're service is poor. No, thank you. We will be ordering our Colombian food elsewhere. read more

We've ordered from here before, I guess I should've learned my lesson- fish wise! I ordered on GrubHub & got the fish filet. I requested (in Spanish) yellow rice. My bf got the bandeja paisa ($12). When the order came, the rice was white & my fish looked burned. It was only 1 piece for $9.50. I called & asked what happen? The lady (barely spoke English) said they don't make yellow rice & she'd send me a new fish which was a nice gesture. UNTIL...the delivery guy shows up an hour later at 7:45pm with a new fish & asks for the old 1. Naturally, we called back while the delivery guy was waiting, the same lady who barely spoke English said that she wanted to "swap" it...um, excuse me? 1st, that's disgusting, 2nd, I was supposed to wait 2 hours to eat? We told the guy to keep it & go back. The original order came at 6:30pm. I took the nasty fried batter off & ate it. Honestly, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either. The rice & beans was the best part. Would we order again? HEEEEELLL NOOOOO!!!! Now I'm wondering if I ate someone's mess up, or left overs!!! Oh btw, the 1st time, I ordered salmon (my bf got the bandeja paisa again) & it came over a bed of terribly boiled tasteless veggies. The salmon was ok. Total disappointment & now disgusted. They need better communication skills & customer service. Don't waste your time or money. Hope this helps! Check the flicks :) read more

Delicious traditional Colombian food! You can't go wrong! Personal favorite is the bandeja paisa! Beans are super flavorful and delicious as well! Also, you'll come for the food but stay for the wine!! They have a delicious extensive imported wine list! Just in time for Spring I love the to-go mini Ponte Treviso Prosecco bottles and the smooth strawberry-notes of the Chilean rosé! Don't forget to order a glass (or bottle) when you dine in OR take out! read more

The worse experience, I order a Bandeja Paisa to pick up, when I get home with the order I could not believe was full of rice, and everything else was cut in half and burn and with hairs include. I call them and I was told that the owner will call me back. read more

This is my second time eating here . I was pleasantly surprised the first time and today I was very happy with my food. Too, bad I forgot to take pictures . This food takes me back to Colombia when my grandmother , who was the best cook in the world , prepared our meals. I will continue coming here every time I'm in the neighborhood . I will recommend it. Oh , I should mention , it only has four tables , so you can always pick up or get delivered . You could also buy Colombian bread and other items . read more

It was a pretty okay Colombian food spot , the wait time for delivery was decent too .

I've been to this place twice; 1st Time - I was greeted by a rude cashier (which is odd because Colombians are usually cordial and respectful). I decided to ignore her attitude as I wanted to try the food. I even tipped before receiving my food in hopes it would change her attitude towards me to no avail. The food was great though. 2nd Time - I returned two days later to order food for a small party I was hosting. This time, I wasn't even able to order because said cashier decided to ignore me as I stood in front of her. Odd indeed. Maybe she found my looks offensive, who knows. I'll be fair and give them three stars as the food was good. However, I can't order from a place that treats me like crap. You should never have to force your business on anyone. I'll return once the rude cashier is gone. read more

if i could give zero stars i would !!!!! this place is absolutely terrible. they are disgusting in various many ways such as food, professionalism, customer service, attitude, etc. if you order something 9 times out of 10 they are giving you something completely different than what you asked for. then they will proceed to have an attitude and be very disrespectful and disgusting. the staff, the manager, the cooks, everyone there are rude asf, unprofessional and don't know how to talk to customers nor run a business. this place needs to get shut down immediately !!!!! read more

I ordered an order of bandeja paisa and literally got half of a sausage, 1/4 of the steak, 1/4 of arepa, and 3 pieces of maduro. Cost $19 but it didn't come with anything close to $19 worth of food. Do yourself and you wallet a favor, save your money, or go to para ti Colombia on hillside- they have the bandeja paisa for the same price and the appropriate amount of food! This is only my second time eating here- but definitely my last. The first time eating here- I ordered steak and sweet plantains. It was somewhat greasy- but the food was still really good and plentiful. This recent trip- I noticed that the prices have increased- and portions decreased. The steak was small- just "Ok" in flavor- I basically paid $10+ for mostly white/bland rice. Even the cup of beans were small. Overall portions too small- not worth the price. This appears to be a common thread among most of the restaurants- in this area. Nice people working there- but I don't pay for "nice"- I pay for quality takeout- with portions equal to what I'm being charged. This is not the case- and the flavor isn't worth me going back. Good Spanish food= go to Harlem! read more
