Tiny 12$ Breakfast burrito It be different if it was steak eggs and potato and chorizo smh
Adam H.

You could start by saying their service is awful if you go inside they will make you wait until you ring the bell to get their attention no matter if there's anyone in the drive-through or not. If you go through the drive-through they won't tell you the total for your order until you get to the window and surprisingly it'll be 4 to 5 dollars more than you expected. They don't give you receipts even after you ask for one they will tell you to drive back through the drive-through line to check the price then when you question how much you're paying for the food that you're getting and look in your bag and get one salsa for $20 worth of food and ask for at least two of each color the person tells you that they will charge you since when is it standard to get one salsa for $20 worth of food don't go to this place is a joke go Up the street half a mile and go to Nico's or go down the street another half a mile and go to a food truck to pay $12 for a basic breakfast burrito you've got to be kidding me

They give you a side of guacamole and sour cream.

I got the steak chimichanga dinner and was pleased. The woman at the drive through was kind, and patient. The green sauce was amazing and had lots of cilantro. Great price for a lot of food.

My chicken was undercooked and still pink. There was a hair in my food as well. They refused to remake it and told me that I was mistaken. Bad customer service because they didn't try to offer any solution what so ever. The person I was dining with started feeling sick shortly after finishing his food. I went out of my way to drive back in hopes they would fix it. Sad that they don't care

Receipt.

Nice restaurant. Been here a few times, some with colleagues for lunch…read more Food is good. I've had a variety of things, some Mexican dishes, some American. Did a breakfast once. I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Also, the plates are enormous, so you'll definitely have some leftovers. If you're near the airport and looking for breakfast, skip Denny's and Waffle House and opt for Sunny Daze. The price point is the same (actually probably better), so you just get way more bang for your buck. Easy choice.

Teaspoon is one of the best overall restaurants in Tucson…read more I've been here a few times over the last year or so. It has never disappointed in service, quality or taste. (well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

As a whole, I feel like the side pairing of challah toast with jam and butter is an odd choice. I also ordered the iced Thai tea, which was quite weak. Overall--I wasn't really feeling it. When you go to Teaspoon, you're really paying for ambience over quality. There's no issue with the service here, from hosts to wait staff. The food is simply underwhelming, and thus so is the experience. I wouldn't be mad to return, but I don't know if this would ever be my suggestion.

The brisket was delicious, the sourdough was top tier, and the tomatoes, spinach, and gyure cheese all worked so well together with the sausage gravy on top...I was in heaven. It came topped with two perfectly poached eggs and the side potatoes were tremendous. Perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and starchy on the inside. We also got the Chilaquiles Verde and I was super impressed. The pork was incredibly moist and again they absolutely nailed the poached eggs. The green chile sauce had great flavor without being overly spicy, which I appreciated because I like flavor but not too much heat first thing in the morning. The tortilla strips stayed crispy the whole time and it came with a side of mixed fruit, which is always a winner in my book. Of course I couldn't pass up dessert. We tried the lemon blueberry lavender olive oil cake, which is gluten free. It was pretty crumbly (maybe due to being gf?) and I'm probably still 50/50 on lavender as a flavor, but overall it was pretty good. The coconut cream pie was the real standout for me though. Super creamy with great coconut flavor and the slice was huge! Our waiter did a pretty good job and even though the patio was fairly busy, it stayed comfortable because everything was shaded. There were a few flies hanging around, but that is kind of the tradeoff for sitting outside. The interior dining room looked really cute too, so maybe next time I'll try sitting inside. Overall, I liked it and there's a few more things on the menu I want to try so I'll definitely be back. It was a great little brunch spot.
