Very good service, had the streak and eggs, was very good. Extra small restroom. A cozy little place just off US 70 in town

Tacos Garcia was suggested to me by a local coworker. Our hotel was fairly close by so, why not? We…read morearrived around 7:30 and were promptly seated. We were brought individual flights of salsa to go with the chips. My michelada hit the spot. Was it the best? No. But it scratched the itch. I couldn't decide on what to eat. Until I saw green chili stew and asado. I moved away from Midland in 2015. You don't really find asado away from West Texas. The music wasn't too loud and the lighting wasn't too bright or too dim. Overall, we enjoyed our meals. I'll likely stop back in the next time I'm in town.

Like they were going to seat another party at the other table . I'm not sharing a table . Not good service . Looked around a lot of the tables pushed together. Was another room empty with no tables. They should have spread out the tables in all the rooms . So everyone could have been seated when they came in instead of waiting 25-30 min. Then after we ordered. On a scale of 1 to 10. I give them a 2. One person's in my party couldnt eat the tacos. Meat was full of fatty meat and the taco was full of grease from when cooked. Mine also had a taco . The taco instead of having the color of a corn taco. It was brown and greasy because of all the grease it was cook in . Ate maybe half my meal . I made up my mind that is the last time I will go there and if anyone ever suggest to go there to me . I'll tell them the reason .

Nicely decorated and spacious restaurant with plenty of tables and booths. The food was a little disappointment. My pastor tacos were dry and difficult to eat my experience with Pastor tacos in the past has been very juicy and full of flavor that was not the case today at this restaurant. My dining companion had an enchilada plate and said it was average and not much flavor Super friendly folks and average food. I visited with a friend who lives in Clovis and he raved about the food, so I may have just made a poor selection. He raved about the.Bierra de Chivo and the torta ahogada - so I may have to come back next time I'm in the area and try those dishes because there are so many favorable reviews.

We were greeted by a hostess and several other employees and were seated right away. They brought chips (the homemade thick kind) and salsa (a chunky medium to hot). That type of chip is not our favorite and they lacked salt. The waitress (Mayra) was attentive and gave us time to order. Wife ordered the Texas Plate (#11) with cheese enchiladas. I ordered the Steak Ranchero (#7). We ordered the quesadilla (steak) platter for the kids to share. All the food was delicious with the exception of the flour tortillas that came with the meals (they seemed to be store bought mission tortillas rather than homemade flour ones we would prefer). They had a green salsa and what I think was a chipotle salsa. Both were good but the green (my favorite) was excellent. The restaurant was very clean. As with most restaurants these days there were TVs everywhere that distracted the kids, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The three meals (water to drink) plus a generous tip was just shy of $48. Definitely recommend!!

But here again it's great for those that don't want to socialize I suppose. The order out was super busy (door dash, Uber eats orders) the employees were hustlin. All and all a nice blast from the past. Food was fair for a taco and queso; a solid Torchy's situation.

Once order was placed, I filled my cup with unsweet tea and it was soured. For the sake of pure awareness, I let the lady know about the finding and she further tasted it but didn't find it unpleasant. Mind you, I have ran a restaurant on my own and have worked in the restaurant industry since high school.... I know what bad tea tastes like. I make a new drink choice and move on, not the end of the world with 15 other drink choices available!! Once my food arrived and I'm half way through eating, she proceeds to come to the table in a very offensive manner asking "Well would you like me to make you new tea? What do you want me to do?" At this point, I was shocked at how she approached me and did not have much response other than "It's alright, I got something else to drink, thank you." So I finished the meal, go to top off with lemonade before leaving, and the manager/owner hurries over and says "No, No! That is not lemonade, just the concentrate!" In my mind I think to myself "umm, sorry Sir, I didn't know that. I thought that the "Hours of Operation 8am-10pm" on the door meant that this place was fully functioning and in service within the hours that you have posted. The entire time I was in this restaurant, the workers were refilling and setting up for the day..... the place was not to par within their "Hours of Operation." Will never return!!!!!
