Great service, food was delicious, and highly recommend! The burrito was a hit and the sopapilla was fantastic!!

Great experience love this place me and my kids went here and we had a blast the food is nice doesn't take to long for food and isn't that expensive would recommend. read more

They always great and it's always consistent. The service is always good too! Their red sauce is the best!

So I'm giving it a 3 because our server was very friendly and efficient. For the food it would only be a 2. We had the special of chili relleno, enchilada and taco. It was very bland and the meat was cold. The salsa was very tomato/ketchup based. No other spices but maybe a jalapeño. The place wasn't that busy but it was clean. The best part of the whole meal was the sopaipilla with honey. Would we go back?? Probably not. read more

The food was meh. The service was ok. I was appalled at the fact that they charged half the price of the entree to have one chicken and one steak fajita taco. This is not industry standard and is ridiculous. Do better. The guy at the counter did take a few dollars off but still shouldn't have had the extra charge to begin with. read more

Juanito's Restaurant - Mexican Near Me - Clovis, New Mexico

This place has been in my husbands' family top #1 place for YEARS and it was finally time for me to see why! We were driving back home from a a road trip and some delays here in Clovis made it possible for us to have lunch here. The service was impeccable... extremely friendly and kind employees and the owner even walked table to table to talk to everyone. He asked us about our food and we told him how far we had traveled to come try this food out. He was extremely friendly and just the sweetest soul. He told us that Juanito's has been in his ownership for 40 years now and that's extremely impressive. We are SO happy to support local businesses! Now the food... holy crap. The most amazing Mexican food we have EVER had and we live in central texas. Extremely fresh ingredients, hot food, super warm and fluffy tortillas. The food did not disappoint! My husband had the Chile relleno with the enchiladas and was completely silent during the meal which just lets you know how amazing it was! The ambiance of the place is super friendly, cozy, extremely clean bathrooms, clean tables, etc! This place is somewhere you DO NOT want to miss out on! read more

Delicious and good service. Anytime I am in Clovis I will definitely eat at Juanito's

Very disappointed the last 3 times we went there. Service was good, but food was just so so. Going to go out and scout possibilities as we probably won't be going back. Chips and salsa were great though!! read more

Never been here before because we're so rarely in Eastern NM but the place is nice, clean, and our server was amazing. The food was really good too. Not sure if it was NM style Mexican food or more Tex-Mex which is what we love and have all the time. It tasted a lot like Tex-Mex. Definitely a place I'd go back to. read more

Great food, amazing service. Albert was a fantastic server. My husbands green Chile enchiladas were definitely the star of the meals. The fried ice cream redeemed my husband's opinion of fried ice cream. The ladies up front were kind and welcoming. The salsa and chips also fantastic! read more

My new go-to when passing through Clovis, NM. The salsa was excellent. The horchata was probably the best I've ever had, and the green chile enchiladas were amazing. My husband ordered the fajita tacos, and the waitress suggested a half order. She was right. It was a ton of food. Great value, excellent New Mexican food, and great service. read more

Cheese enchiladas with Christmas sauce, with a sopapilla for desert. YUM! Spending 4 days in Clovis and already eaten at Juanita's 3 times. Great place for groups, we got our family of 10 in easily for several meals. read more

Rediscovering the eateries in Clovis and so glad this place didn't get past me. I had a smothered beef burrito with fresh tortilla chips and salsa. I found the chips and salter to be fresh and just totally delicious now as for the burrito I found it to be delicious with high notes of a balance of flavorful seasonings and excellent grated beef wrapped in a fresh flour tortilla and a wonderful red chili sauce that was very aromatic and flavorful. Customer service one of the best I've experienced since returning to Clovis. I felt so welcome and at home in this place most definitely will be returning. It says a lot when you see practically everyone in the restaurant with smiles on their faces and enjoying a comfortable inviting environment. read more

Great place. Good food and good service and being located on the highway makes it convenient for travelers.

Traveling through town and this restaurant was right next to my motel. I am always a fan of Mexican food and needed to give it a try. I was very pleased. The service started off great. She was at my table ready to take my drink order right when I sat down. She was very patient while I figured out what to eat. I also liked she was able to offer me a salsa with a little more heat than their regular salsa. I ordered the chile Verde enchiladas with green sauce and they were very flavorful. Dessert were the sopapillas and they were great. This restaurant was a great find and will be on my future stops through the area. read more

Great service...Great prices...Great food...we'll be back anytime we're in Clovis!!!!

We ate at Juanito's yesterday and we were so pleased with our meal and the service we received. We quit eating out because since covid started, our local restaurants have seemed to go downhill. Juanito's not only served us a delicious meal, they were kind. You could feel the smiles from underneath the mask. My 5 year old son even mentioned how clean it was in there! We will be back soon. Thank you for your friendly service and delicious meal! read more

We were driving through and found this gem! The guacamole was outstanding as well as the fajitas. The woman at the front who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Also, we make lots of changes to our orders and they got it exactly right (most restaurants do not)! Highly recommend! read more

foods not they great everything was cold and a little under cooked wouldn't recommend compared to leals

Great New Mexican food. Great, well-trained wait staff. NOT your Tex-Mex cuisine. A Clovis tradition. Huge sapodillas.

I've been going to Juanitos since I was younger....they have friendly & amazing staff. I miss some of the servers who are no longer there, but still great service. Good is always amazing. read more

9/16/2023 90th Birthday dinner for father with 12 people plus infant. Food was great as usual. Inexperienced waitresses who didn't listen and didn't seem to care. Owner refused to talk to us and the owner's daughter insinuated I was not truthful. They dumped an entire plate on my sister in law, in her purse and on a brand new jacket. They ignored the food on the table and continued bringing out food. We pushed the food away from my sister in law and worked to get her purse cleaned out and jacket clean. Finally, after close to 30 minutes, they brought out a wrag to clean the table only after we demaned a clean cloth. The food came out 2 or 3 plates at a time. By the time the last plate was set, the first person was finished eating. They messed up the first person served, took back the plate and didn't bring it back correct until everyone else was served. There were several horrible things in addition to this but I won't go into those because of lilmited space. They were not professional and had no clue what was going on. There were virtually no other people in the restaurant on a Saturday evening which was a bit odd. There was no manager on duty on a Saturday night? If I only had photos! read more

Stopped here on a long cross-country road trip. Very tasty salsa (and we are from Texas and very picky). Cheese enchiladas and shrimp enchiladas were delicious. Corn tortillas on the side were thick and tasty. Service was kind and attentive. Helped us with fast checkout since we were anxious to get back on the road. read more

Second time dining here on way back to Texas. Really great Tex-Mex & I consider myself an expert on just plain Tex-Mex-tamales, enchiladas, tacos. Just the good stuff. Good cold beer & great service. Great little family restaurant. We travel west frequently & will look forward to coming through Clovis to eat here again. read more

I love this restaurant, the food is delicious, you get a generous amount, authentic Mexican food.... But if you Get MARGARET as your waitress forget about it. I took my mother, she took our order at 2:03 and at 2:30 we got up and left after she severed her "Mexican" friends. This not the first time that I've had Margaret, my brother, going through chemotherapy, wasn't feeling great and she was so rude to him!! I love everything else about Juanito's but not to sit back and take her rudeness this time...... read more

Not the worst food I've had, but it wasn't good Mexican food. I got a burrito supreme and it was extremely bland. I asked for red sauce on top and it tasted like chili from a can. Inside the burrito there was just refried beans and beef that looked like pot roast. The sopailla was their only saving grace. It was actually really good. The one thing that blew my mind is they didn't have their liquor license so they didn't have tequila!! They had "wine margaritas" but that didn't sound good to since we went there wanting normal margaritas. Overall, I won't be going back. read more

I have always had an outstanding dining experience when eating here and the service from the entire restaurant staff has been the same.

We passed through Clovis and stopped to eat at Juanito's. Diana served us a delicious lunch special of the day, complete with a sopapilla. She was such a delight, positive and totally accommodating. 4 stars for the salsa alone. The food wasn't great and the service was so, but as long as the salsa and chips kept coming I was happy. If this stuff was canned I would bought a case. Juanito's Restaurant - Menu - Mexican Near Me - Clovis, New Mexico

Juanito's was food stop #2 on my family road trip to the northwest. We stopped here for dinner in search of a meal full of hatch chiles. Unfortunately, it came up a little short. By small-town standards, I'm sure it's quite good, but the food wasn't all that flavorful or especially tasty. The service was very good, however, and considering the other options Clovis has to offer, this is probably a top choice. The first disappointment was that they only served beer/wine, so the margaritas are made with agave wine. This sounds like it would be delicious, but in actuality it is way too sweet and rather hard to drink. Second disappointment was the table salsa - it was basically tomato sauce with a hint of spice - no bueno. I ordered the meat-free chili relleno (not a lot of meat-free options offered, I might add) which came with rice and beans. The rice and beans were standard Tex-Mex and tasted fine. The chili relleno itself was rather soggy under its red sauce and the fried goodness surrounding the chili was totally lost. Another bummer was that the waiter didn't ask me if I wanted red or green sauce (even though I believe this is an option) so I missed out on the green hatch chili sauce completely. Redemption for Juanito's lies in their fresh sopapillas. Despite being disappointed by my entree, I left feeling happy after eating a hot and fluffy basket of dough smothered in honey. read more

My favorite mexican restauraunt in town. Usually order the two cheese enchilada plate with red sauce and rice/beans. The BEST salsa in town. Hot chips that keep coming. I also like the Chalupa with meat and beans. Been there 100s of times, never been sick, always hot, always good. No suprises just good eating. read more

Possibly the friendliest place I've ever been. Also one of the best Mexican food places in the state of New Mexico. Food is top notch and prices are great. This was the first restaurant we went to when we PCS'd here to Cannon. We went there with our two toddlers and very much enjoyed it. The food was good and we were served quickly. Passing through on my way from Ohio to Arizona and stopped here because I needed a place to sit and eat after being in the car for 2 straight days... this place was AWESOME! I got some dinner special that included a drink and a sopapilla for dessert with the entree... and it was like $7. The food was authentic and awesome and the staff is super friendly.
