    Delicious Pina Colada!
    David T.

Great food! Great drinks! Great service! Reasonable pricing! Not noisy! Street parking! This place has all that I could hope for in a great restaurant. It is hard to find an excellent Pina Colada - but Los Altos restaurant has a variety of fabulous drinks. The food is delicious. Five star for Los Altos restaurant!

I came in here for lunch while waiting for my bus back to Santa Maria. The dining room is immaculate. All the tables are clean and set. There was one server behind the bar. She smiled at me as soon as I walked in and greeted me in Spanish. After sitting down & perusing the menu I settled on the fish and chips, because I really wanted fries. The young woman that was working was prompt and brought chips to my table as they have a self-serve salsa bar. . My dish was smaller in portions than other fish and chips I've had, however I wasn't wasn't as hungry as I thought. They also have a special on Mondays so it was only $10! The dish was simple and fried perfectly. . If you're looking for a well executed Mexican food, in a casual, romantic setting, give this place a try!

Great service, price and our entrees were a work of art. Garlic Seabass, steak fajitas, chili relleno and napoles chili verde. All 5 stars! Prickly pear margarita was delish and how can you beat a $5 lagunitas, not even happy hour but happy hour prices. Visiting from San Diego, we've definitely had our fair share of Mexican food but this was a top notch experience. Wishing we had a non pretentious and 5 stars restaurant like Los Altos, in SD. Definitely will be back!

Oh my goodnesssss, i went to Los Altos tonight with a friend for the first time. She ordered the tacos, which she noted were very flavorful, and I ordered a chicken burrito with no pico de gallo. I can honestly say this was one one the best burritos I have ever had and I savored every bite. The orange garnish was so fresh and savory too! We also had the guacamole appetizer with their yummy tortilla chips that have seasoning on them. The guacamole was delicious! I was surprised that the place was essentially empty, but our server was amazing very attentive. They have a few tvs inside as well and a warm inviting atmosphere. You better believe I'll be back and telling everyone about this place! They have a great AXXESS deal too!

Doesn't look like much when you walk past. But man this place is great, Fresh chips and open salsa bar to start For food we got Red pozole with pork was amazing ! And came with some handmade corn tortillas that were delicious. We also got the combo plate 3 tacos - crispy steak, grilled chicken, birria , Spanish red rice and refried pinto beans also very good. To drink - Aguas frescas - fresa and jamaica YASIRA was our server and was great ! Excellent service ! Will be back soon Thank you -to late to post pictures, we finished everything before the review

First time here and the place looked cool- nice decor, clean, and festive with colors and sports on TVs. The servers were friendly and the seating was self serve. The salsa bar was amazing! So many choices ranging from habanero hot to picode gallo cool. Ordered the tilapia and garlic sauce. I asked for the garlic sauce in the side and it came on the fish. The beans were uniquely in a small tastada bowl, but honestly, I would've wanted quantity vs asthetic. The rice looked like 3 tablespoons spread thin across the plate. Fortunately the fish was well made and plentiful. I also wish I was asked/offered more tortillas bc I ran outway through my meal. The tasty salsa bar saved this review from being a 3 star review. Ordered churros and got 3 long churros with vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. They were pretty good, but they tasted similar to the churros sold during Fiesta here in Santa Barbara.. there good, but not the best ;) Overall, the meal was good, service was great, and the salsa bar was the best! Thank you for the tasty meal!!

I came here for lunch with my friend because I noticed they had some great deals. Little did I know the food was super authentic tasting as well!! Everything was amazing and hooked up. I love that they have a BOGO deal on cocktails during the whole month of February. I got the pina colada and my friend got the Mexican Mula. Both were so tasty! For food, I got the a La carte red chicken enchilada and chicken mole plate with rice and a salad. The mole sauce was delicious! The red sauce on the enchilada tasted like it was made from someone's grandma (and not from a can). Definitely going to come back again!

It's like they threw out the old pots that used to give flavor beyond any seasoning they shook in. The menu is much smaller. The food presentation is better, the plates are definitely more cleaned up and picture ready. Previously, the food used to all run together. We ordered my all time favorite all, the Cajun popcorn. The recipe is definitely different, the breading is fluffier and softer. Personally, not a fan, I prefer it a little crunchier to my liking. The redfish special was good, make sure to get it with the Pontchartrain sauce, it MAKES the dish. The lamb was good, prepared medium rare perfectly! The bread pudding soufflé was excellent. I'd come back, the food is good, just not as great as I remember it. Street parking is your best bet, but you can drive around the corner and find a public parking lot nearby.

The fries were probably the best item out of what we ordered. Sour: We also ordered a lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster roll wasn't too bad but it wasn't that special. It was pretty small and it was only filled with claws. I wish the bread was crisp and the lobster had more flavor. It wasn't worth the price. The clam chowder wasn't so bad It was a little more of a broth based and not really creamy. It had the perfect amount of potato and clams but lacked flavor. We ended up getting a whole lot of cod to munch on instead. We got a whole pound's worth of smoked black cod - half candy flavored and half savory flavored for $32 with tax & tip. Absolutely loved them both and prices seemed great for such well flavored, fresh fish. We liked the candy a touch more than the savory but enjoyed both. Staff was pleasant enough, plus they have a bench outside that we sat at for a few minutes to eat. I'd love to go back in the future and try their acclaimed live uni~!
