Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Just a short note here. I didn't end up renting from this store, but Keith was very proactive and…read morehelpful anyway. He apparently saw that the Enterprise Roadside Assistance (ERA) person I had talked to had put them down as where I should go to get a replacement for a rental with mechanical problems. He took the trouble of calling me ten minutes after I got off the phone with ERA to say they didn't have a replacement car for me and that I should really go to the Springfield Town Center store instead (which I did. See my review of them). I just want to say I think that is pretty professional of him. Thanks, Keith, for saving me a trip and the frustration I would have otherwise experienced! Word to the wise, folks: Always call Enterprise Roadside Assistance when you have a problem with one of their rentals. They'll help you get on the right track, and they notify the store you're coming!

Dishonest, I Went to this location bc of an insurance claim. Then when I went to return the rental…read moreI was blindsided with a $589 bill. This charge was unexpected and, in my view, unjustified based on how the rental was handled by your team. When I arrived at your branch at 7500 Fullerton Road in Springfield Virginia I requested a Toyota Camry that I saw in the lot--a standard vehicle that I knew would fall within the limits of my Geico rental reimbursement. I was told the only Camry belonged to an employee and that no other vehicles were available except a Ford Expedition Max and a mini Cooper (I am 6'5 250lbs by the way). While I didn't object to the SUV itself, I asked multiple times whether my insurance would cover it. I was assured, "they're all the same," which clearly implied there would be no out-of-pocket cost to me. At no point was I informed that I would be personally responsible once my Geico coverage maxed out. There was no communication. I relied on Enterprise's staff to be transparent, and they were not. When I returned to the body shop to retrieve my car, the manager at L&M asked me how I was doing. I expressed my frustration, and he acknowledged that this wasn't the first time he'd seen this happen. He told me, "that Enterprise does this all the time," and cited another customer who had just been charged $110/day for an unintended upgrade... assumably because he had a nice BMW. Clearly, this appears to be a recurring issue at this location. I have tried repeatedly to contact your customer service line with no success. Given the lack of transparency, the misleading responses I was given, and the pattern of this behavior reported by the body shop, I do not recommend this location.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Potomac Mills

Avoid this U-Haul location at all costs if you are planning on doing a one-way, out of state move…read more God forbid you have a bad experience, the management here refuses to level with you and do right by the customer. Borderline unethical, but at the least incompetence. The first U-Haul I received had the check engine light on. I was switched to a second truck and on my way. While on the interstate, I quickly realized that the truck I was given couldn't exceed 70mph. I'm speaking pedal to the medal and it won't accelerate a bit. This caused several issues throughout the trip and I contacted the location to let them know what was going on. Simone suggested I contact roadside assistance if I was worried for my safety, but that was her only offer. I declined because I was already on a tight time frame and had to get to Georgia as soon as possible. YOU WOULD THINK UHaul would realize offering that as the only solution is unreasonable, because the customer is being punished once again due to no fault of her own. Me calling roadside assistance would require for me to once again STOP and switch out trucks. Unload and reload said truck. THIS TAKES TIME THAT I DONT HAVE AND WHICH I SHOULDNT HAVE TO EVEN HAD TO DEAL WITH TO BEGIN WITH. Upon arrival in Atlanta, I had another terrible experience with returning the truck that no one wants to take accountability for. Many things can be said about me, but one thing about me is that I will always take accountability for my wrongdoings. I operate with integrity and I try to always DO RIGHT by people. The management at this UHaul refuses to do right by me. I refuse to stress about this a second longer. Shame on you. Instead of coming to this Woodbridge location, I highly recommend the Springfield location instead. I WISH I had been able to get my truck from there, but they didn't have any 10 foot trucks in stock. The management may be the same for both locations (idk), but the difference i received in service is worlds apart. Also, before standing in the rain to do the truck inspection on your phone - save yourself some time and crank up the truck first!

Disarray was the word for this U-Haul. I've used U-Haul a lot and always been impressed. I've found…read morethem very helpful and efficient. Not this one. There was no clear parking anywhere, the inside had stuff strewn around, and it took me literally 20 minutes just to get to the front of the line (they even called me to ask where I was for my appointment while I was standing in line). The employees didn't seem particularly helpful and wore their masks haphazardly. The work, however, was well done. They attached a hitch and the job was done in a timely manner. I've used it a few times already and have had no problems. Still, I wish the pick up and drop off were better experiences.

ABOVE & BEYOND RENTAL EXPERIENCE!…read more I recently rented a truck from the Woodbridge Enterprise Truck Rental location to support a family move from DC to Dallas. From the initial phone call to my interaction with the team after I returned the vehicle, everything was top-notch. I worked with account specialist Jeremy who helped me understand the rental process, worked to determine what kind of pick-up I needed and the rental and return process. He was knowledgeable in helping me understand the ins and out of the "larger than expected" pick-up and how the fee/billing process was going to work. When I returned the vehicle, I had some minor damage from a hit and run and Jeremy worked with me to understand the repair, insurance, and enterprise policies and process. His time and work helped make a tense process, smooth. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Mr. Eric Williams, who serves as the manager there. Mr. Williams really helped make my rental experience much more than satisfactory. He was friendly, engaging, and really worked with me to ensure the process was smooth. He even helped me with the installation and operation of the adapter and tow-ball I needed for the journey and move. Most of all when we were working through the damage and repair process, Mr. Williams not only helped me understand the process, but helped select the proper category to ensure that not only the vehicle was repaired, but that the situation was equitable for both the business and myself. I will definitely rent from Enterprise again and specifically this location so I can work with both Jeremy and Mr. Williams again. If you need a truck rental, check them out.

------- DO NOT RENT TRUCK FROM THIS COMPANY----- While the…read moreinitial reservation and vehicle pickup were handled satisfactorily, the experience thereafter was completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about Ryder's business practices. As discussed with rental office manager on October 16, 2025 ( proof is available), the rented truck exhibited severe mechanical defects and safety hazards, rendering it unsafe and unfit for operation. I returned the vehicle after driving less than 30 miles. Following the return, I discovered unauthorized and excessive charges on my credit card totaling $2,600 ($1,040 on October 8 and $1,560 on October 14) FOR 1 WEEK OF RENTAL. Subsequently, I received a partial refund of $675.74, yet the remaining balance and billing discrepancies remain unresolved. Rental Office Manager explicitly stated--both verbally and via text message ( screenshots are available)--that my final total charge would be $1,248. Despite multiple follow-up calls, texts, and emails requesting a corrected invoice and refund, I have received no response. The continued failure to provide documentation or return funds constitutes unauthorized billing and deceptive business practice in violation of consumer protection laws. Accordingly, I am demanding an immediate resolution with this rental transaction. The vehicle's unsafe condition, lack of use, and Ryder's failure to provide an accurate, transparent final invoice justify a complete reimbursement. I have contacted Ryder Corporate office in Florida. they provided case number 1 month ago and still no response. DO NOT RENT TRUCK FROM RYDER....

I made a reservation for a sprinter van with Ryder three weeks before a move. Received a confirming…read moreemail. Went ahead and booked and made a deposit on movers to get everything packed into the van. Three days before the pick up date, I get a call from Ryder telling me they won't be able to get me the van I reserved because "nothing was available" and that they typically don't actually work on securing the truck until one week before!! Wouldn't that have been a good warning to pass along at the time of the reservation? Now I'm completely screwed trying to line up a truck with a couple days notice or risk losing the money I've committed to the movers. Will never use Ryder again - As Jerry Seinfeld once said "See, you know how to TAKE the reservation, you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them."

This I did not mind at the time, but in retrospect really bothers me since she made an error that cost me over $400. When she finally got to me I told her I was picking up the prepaid rental and gave her my husband's name to look it up with. She then said, "ahh this will have to be under your name since you are the one picking it up". She told me that she would transfer the reservation to my name and that my husband would still be able to drive. Once she drew up the new paperwork I noticed that the total was now $242.12. I asked her why it was so much more when I had prepaid for it, and she said it was due to the deposit that I had to put down and I would be reimbursed that amount after returning the car. I also noticed the the new paperwork that she drew up had Lorton Virginia listed as the return location and not Albany NY where we had specified in the original reservation. When I asked her about that she said it didn't matter because we are allowed to return the vehicle to any budget location. I should have known better but we were on a time crunch so I dismissed my intuition, signed all of the paperwork, and left with the vehicle. The vehicle itself was clean and undamaged. While driving back to Albany I noticed that my credit card was charged for $442.12. This was in addition to the $127 that was already charged. We decided we would make sure and ask about the charges when turning the car back in. When we got to the counter at the Albany location I asked the rep about the charges and what the total would be once I was refunded the deposit. He said he was unsure but noted there would be a one way restocking fee between $100-$500 because we did not return the car to Lorton as noted on the agreement. I explained to him the situation and asked to make sure that I wasn't double booked because my original reservation listed Albany. That is when the rep found that I indeed had been double booked. I asked if he could fix the situation and he said the only ones able to do so would be corporate at the 1800 #. So in the end I was only refunded the original prepayment of $127 by customer care. They told me that because the reservation in my name was already closed, they were unable to do anything with it because they cannot modify it once closed. After this I will not EVER rent from Budget again! I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the Lorton Virginia location in the Comfort Inn. Either the worker is extremely incompetent, or a scam artist. Regardless those are not traits I look for.
