on August 10th, 2024 State Farm made a reservation with this location and I was given an Audi SUV without a gas cover in very poorly conditions. The next day, I realized that the registration for the SUV was expired on 12/2023. 8 months with a expired registration! THAT'S not all... it's just the beginning of this night mare. On Sept 19, 2024 Tiana calls me and left me a message saying "Hi this is Tiana calling from enterprise. I'm calling in regards to State Farm. Looks like they are looking for. The body shop information I'm just trying to see where you take Take your vehicle I'm in order for the Insurance to If you can give me a call back with the information at seven 0 3 4 5 5 6 5 2 5 thank you..." pretending to work for State Farm. SHE CLAIMS THAT STATE FARM DOESN'T KNOW IN WHICH BODY SHOP IS MY CAR GETTING WORK DONE. On October 1st, 2024 Tiana calls my body shop once again pretending to work for the insurance company asking if my car is ready?? - My car had to be towed to Alfa Romeo Dealership to get scanned for some codes- she pretended working for insurance company and they told her that yes is ready for pick up... immediately she calls State Farm spoke with a manager and he terminated the car rental on 10-01-24. Same day- Tiana calls me and leaves a message again "delivering messages from State Farm" The State Farm manager that was given wrong information by Tiana went on vacation coming back 10-11-2024. Starting on 10-02-24 to 10-07-24 I been harassed by their employees will call screaming at me "YOU OWE MONEY" When I contacted Tiana to ask her why is that she pretends to work for other company other than enterprise she hang up on me and said that I screamed at her. When I was in front of her I offered to listen to the recorded conversation and she denied to listen. She is very unprofessional and nasty attitude. Austin the second "manager" who was covering for Tiana, after I realized that those two are very unprofessional I asked him not to call me ever again and that I was going to call the 1800 number. Austin kept calling me back over and over........ also sending me emails. I called many time to the 1800 and requested to speak to a higher manager to explain what this employees are doing.... On 10-07-24 Hannah (The District Manager) sent me the most ridiculous and pathetic e-mail-- picture attached. I requested a call from her and when she did I try explaining what was happening and she cut me off and said "don't want to talk about it". After that I email her 3 TIMES requesting information on them 3 employees including herself and the final invoice.... She didn't reply. UNPROFESSIONAL, My email will be attached to this... On Wednesday 10-09-24 at 8:00am they tow the rental car and Mike (new manager) calls me to ask for the keys or will bill you $1,200. I asked why do they towed the car and his response was that I didn't want to pay the balance, that I cussed on of their managers and told them to die and that I send her area manager a threaten email... WHICH NONE OF IT IS A TRUE STATEMENT. I EMAILED HER MANAGER 3 TIMES ASKING FOR LATEST INVOICE. THEY TOWED THE CAR WITH MY WALLET INSIDE AND CASH THAT I HAD INSIDE THE CAR TO PAY TO A CONTRACTOR. ALL OF IT IS GONE. I honestly don't understand how they think they will get away with this when I have every single call recorded and other business backing me up.....

So, I want to take a few minutes to genuinely appreciate the staff at the Enterprise car rental in Springfield, VA. We had a surprisingly great experience overall, including working through an unexpected issue. The staff were professional, friendly and great to work with when we picked up our vehicle. There was also a genuine mistake on our rental agreement that no one caught, and not even I saw it until I was getting ready to return the vehicle. I brought it up to the staff, who were very patient, looked into it, and then put me in touch with the branch manager. I was absolutely in a position to be totally screwed over, but instead the branch manager took the time to look into it, speak with me, and at the end of the day - he corrected it and did right by me! Thank you Nathanael (Nate) and team for going above and beyond, and doing right by me! It's easy to give five stars when things are smooth and go as planned. But it's truly a remarkable five stars when hiccups happen, and the customer still walks away going wow- these are some professional hard working folks trying to do their best and doing a great job. Thank you! I am now absolutely a loyal customer and will be back to rent from them whenever we have friends or family come to town.

On 9/27/25 I went to pick up a vehicle that my husband and I had a prepaid reservation for (Paid…read more$127online).The woman at the counter was on her cell phone talking to a friend on speaker and I had to wait for her to finish her conversation before being helped. This I did not mind at the time, but in retrospect really bothers me since she made an error that cost me over $400. When she finally got to me I told her I was picking up the prepaid rental and gave her my husband's name to look it up with. She then said, "ahh this will have to be under your name since you are the one picking it up". She told me that she would transfer the reservation to my name and that my husband would still be able to drive. Once she drew up the new paperwork I noticed that the total was now $242.12. I asked her why it was so much more when I had prepaid for it, and she said it was due to the deposit that I had to put down and I would be reimbursed that amount after returning the car. I also noticed the the new paperwork that she drew up had Lorton Virginia listed as the return location and not Albany NY where we had specified in the original reservation. When I asked her about that she said it didn't matter because we are allowed to return the vehicle to any budget location. I should have known better but we were on a time crunch so I dismissed my intuition, signed all of the paperwork, and left with the vehicle. The vehicle itself was clean and undamaged. While driving back to Albany I noticed that my credit card was charged for $442.12. This was in addition to the $127 that was already charged. We decided we would make sure and ask about the charges when turning the car back in. When we got to the counter at the Albany location I asked the rep about the charges and what the total would be once I was refunded the deposit. He said he was unsure but noted there would be a one way restocking fee between $100-$500 because we did not return the car to Lorton as noted on the agreement. I explained to him the situation and asked to make sure that I wasn't double booked because my original reservation listed Albany. That is when the rep found that I indeed had been double booked. I asked if he could fix the situation and he said the only ones able to do so would be corporate at the 1800 #. So in the end I was only refunded the original prepayment of $127 by customer care. They told me that because the reservation in my name was already closed, they were unable to do anything with it because they cannot modify it once closed. After this I will not EVER rent from Budget again! I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the Lorton Virginia location in the Comfort Inn. Either the worker is extremely incompetent, or a scam artist. Regardless those are not traits I look for.

I made a reservation at the Fort Belvoir, VA location by logging on www.enterprise.com like any…read moreother time I choose to use Enterprise. I got the confirmation back and was happy that I was able to get the weekend rate. 15 minutes later Marco called from the Belvoir location saying he did not know how I was able to get the confirmation for a weekend rate. I was quite puzzled. He also said he did not have a full size car as I reserved. That part (car availability) I have been through before and I understood that. The part I could not understand is that he was not sure how I got that type confirmation. I asked to speak with his manager Christine. He gave me her number. When I talked to her I thought she would have tried to assist me in finding a location that honors the weekend rate. NO SHE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except ditto what Marco said that she did not know how I got that confirmation for a weekend rate with the undertone as if it was some fault of mine. I don't know how they expected me to answer that. I did the reservation like any other. She said they must have glitches. OK they might have glitches but as a customer who has chosen to use Enterprise time and time again, I was let down this time. I have access to the military base as I am Military so that was not an issue for me. I have never received a telephone call after I have a confirmation stating that they don't know how I got it and that they could not help me. Marco nor Christine did anything to help me. The Enterprise glitch is not the customer's problem. It is an Enterprise problem. What would have made me feel good is if Marco or Christine tried to help this Enterprise customer who had a reservation. Instead they disabled me with no empathy. When there are glitches, the agent and/or the manager should go above and beyond to help the customer. I had to make alternate "Enterprise" arrangements by calling the complaint line. MARCO NOR CHRISTINE DID ANYTHING TO HELP THE CUSTOMER THEY DISABLED. That is not the Enterprise that I have used time and time again. I do not even recall the words "I'm Sorry." They should have tried to assist me. Their actions and position on my issue do not reflect what Enterprise advertises their customer service model to be.
