Great quick eats, I've been getting the shrimp tortas lately from DoorDash. I love the cook on the camaron, it's crunchy and not overcooked. I also really like the salsa verde that comes with it. I do wish the fries were crunchier and saltier, but other than that the tortas are great. read more

Ordered via doordash on a saturday night! Me and my bf were craving mexican food and this place looked promising. They also had a discount so even more incentive to try! I ordered the super quesadilla with carne asada. I would give it a 7.5/10 only because they filled my quesadilla with more sour cream than cheese and it was slightly overwhelming lol. I liked the meat though and the texture of the tortilla. My boyfriend ordered the super burrito with carne asada and he rated it a 7/10. Will want to try their tacos in the future to see if it's better than the quesadilla or burrito. A good late night option though if you want a quick fix. read more

BF doordashed an amazing Super Burrito ($12.25) from here. It was full to the brim with steak (not that high quality, lots of cartilage which I actually like), gooey melty cheese, Mexican rice, avocado, and beans. It was grilled on the outside to perfection. Fish taco was very dry with no crema. The fish was totally overcooked and didn't have much of a fluffy crispy crunch. The flavor on the carne asada taco was good, but the meat itself was also too dry. My favorite was the verde chicken taco as it was flavorful and also soft. Overall this is a decent place to get your mexican fix, but not the best in town! read more

Food 7.8/10. Solid asada tacos overall. Lacking a bit of that char and salt compared to the most popular taco trucks in SJ. There wasn't any orange sauce either. Service 8.5/10: quick and accurate. Not much to say. Bonus points for actually being a restaurant you can sit down indoors in and a solid price at $3.50 per taco. Overall 8.2/10. This spot has made it into my rotation of taco spots. read more

This location has ample parking which I love! The restaurant is clean and has enough tables. I enjoyed the food but overall they have amazing customer service! 10/10 I ordered the taco plate 2 carne asada 1 veggie but, I didn't realize that at this location their veggie taco is lettuce and cilantro on tortillas. I've had other variations with a little more veggies. I spoke with the cashier and it's on me for not asking the correct questions and made assumptions. I asked the cashier if it was possible to get a carne asada taco instead. The cashier who is super sweet and she spoke to the kitchen and they took care of me. Lopez Taqueria took over the Mercado Torres location really quick. It's clean. It has seating. Nice & friendly employees. We got burritos for take out. Carne asada & carnitas was good and it had rice and whole beans, warmed tortilla and came with red & green sauces. Aqua Fresca was from a mix. Convenient for me so I would come back. read more

My bf and I came here for lunch and everything was super tasty! We got the Regular Taco Plate (carne asada, chile verde pork, and al pastor), 1 Lengua / tongue taco, al pastor nachos, and an horchata and pineapple agua fresca for drinks. The tortillas were nicely toasted / grilled. All the meats were juicy and flavorful. My favorite was the chile verde pork. The restaurant was clean and service was friendly and quick. One of my favorite local Mexican places. The food is legit and service is great, with friendly prices. How can you not love it? My favorite is the Shrimp/Fish burrito which is not really on the menu but they happily accommodate me every time. The carne asada fries and super nachos are other regular items we ordered. The parking lot filled up quickly during lunch time but you can always find street parking nearby. read more

We wanted to try this place after seeing the good reviews and we're glad we did! We ordered ahead and realized they have many locations(hence the numbers). We got a shrimp taco and cali burrito. The shrimp taco was so good. It had both a soft tortilla and a crunchy one with cheese melted on it. It was very creatively put together. I loved it and wished I had ordered two. My husband loved his burrito as well. A few weeks later we tried another location and found out why they had to open so many. It took almost an hour for our order to be ready because of how busy it was. I'm glad they opened more locations to relieve the wait times :) read more

This is our favorite of the Lopez Taquerias near us. By far it's the friendliest and most helpful. I understand it's only been open a month, but the crew works well together. Their food is outstanding. My husband and I both love Al pastor so we each tried it. He had a burrito and I had tacos. A few days ago, we both tried some of the plates. My husband had the Camarones a la Diablo and he loved it. I had a meat dish, too. I wanted carnitas, but they didn't offer that one; they allowed mr to substitute carnitas for another meat they had plates for. We also ordered their house made corn tortillas. We both enjoyed those. And if you wondered, I loved my carnitas plate! For a place where you go up to the counter and order what you want, this place had top notch service. We loved the service as well as the food. The restaurant was clean and it had a light and bright interior. There were plenty of tables. The restaurant had only been open in that location for about a month. We're both looking forward to going there again soon. Sorry I didn't take any photos. We just wanted to enjoy the food. read more

Unfortunately, this food was not great. I ordered the menudo and it was not tasty at all unfortunately and my husband ordered the super nachos with chicken and I knew the minute I saw the cheese on top, that it wasn't going to be a good eat and I was right. I am so bummed that $32 was spent on a meal that was not good at all. I guess that's why I'll always only dine at Casa Lupe in Saratoga and El Caminito in Sunnyvale. read more

Truly excellent takeout. We had the taco plate, carnitas, maiz, and the fish tacos a la carte, maiz and a large order of guacamole and a tub each of their red and green sauces. Everything was really great: generous amounts of juicy carnitas on the tacos, with perfect grilled onions and chopped onion garnish, and a nice grilled jalapeno The fish tacos were even bigger, and had big slices of good avocado. The guac was extra delicious, quite spicy, very fresh, and clearly made from perfect avocados. I can't praise the red and green sauces highly enough: the red is quite hot, and the green sauce really luscious, just superbly flavorful. I will buy extra every time I go to Lopez, so that I can have leftover green sauce to put on stuff I cook at home. Next time I'll order a tub of their pico de gallo too The food was promised for 4:30, and it came out of the kitchen at 4:29 while I was standing in line for the register. Well packaged. read more

amazing fast service and delicious food for a good price, what more do you need! cashier gave us water she some chips and salsa to enjoy while we waited for our burritos. asada was my favorite over the carnitas but both are good. salsa is fresh but i wish they had a spicy one as well. super nice and quick to get our food. did i mention the burritos are bigger than a new born child. will come here next time im craving a burrito in sunnyvale read more

Thought we would check out the new local taqueria in Sunnyvale, and was not disappointed! Had a carne asada taco and carnitas super burrito - excellent! Ordered a side of chips & salsa and the salsa was perfect (for me). Wife thought that it was a little too spicy but I loved the slightly burning sensation on your lips afterwards. Tortillas and meat nicely grilled and seasoned. Fresh onions and cilantro! Definitely would return and recommend. read more

Came here a couple of times to eat dinner with the family (walking distance for us in the neighborhood). Ordered the shrimp burritos, the fish tacos, and chicken quesadillas. Damn I must say that the food quality and flavor of the food is freaking awesome! So many Mexican food places to choose from, this is one of the top! I hope it stays consistent and not just a technique used by ownership for the opening period of the restaurant. And the service was good read more
