Dependability and customer service. Was able to get my pants back early. Great communication.

Monday, 10 Mar. '25 I took my blanket in to Hampton Cleaners to be cleaned. It had been a year…read moresince it was cleaned at Majik Touch on Hudson Road in Greer. They did a fantastic job, but Yelp gave them poor reviews and Hampton a perfect score. This was one of the few luxuries of my life, a 100% woolen blanket which I purchased from and had shipped to me direct from Kerry Woolen Mills in Killarney, Ireland. I love that blanket. When I picked it up from the laundry on 17 March it was packaged in a nice clear plastic bag. I took it home in that condition. About me: I am just short of eighty years old and have several lifetime diseases (diabetes, MG, etc.), so I did not open the package until the next day. I opened the package on the Saturday following, and put it on the bed. Two things were immediately1 obvious: It did not overhang the bed as it had. It is now approximately one foot shorter and slightly more narrower. Second, there are dark spots on the blanket that were not there before. As the cleaner closes early Saturdays, I took it to the cleaner on the following Monday where I was told that the blanket had not shrunk and the dark spots were pre-existing. I had been told (by the mill over a year earlier) that the blanket should be gently washed and dried flat. I could have washed the blanket, but flat drying is beyond my capabilities, ergo the professional cleaning. The cleaner is denying any failure on their part, that the spots were pre-existing, and that the blanket is for a smaller bed. Kerry Woolen Mills keeps records, I did have the size which I had stated (order 259xx, 19 Jan. '23) I am out the cleaning (?) bill which they have not even offered to refund, the price of a new blanket €109 plus shipping €55 ($177.43) two years ago, and approximately $35 cleaning fee. So I am out over $200. Thanks Hampton Dry Cleaners.

I am not one to give bad reviews, unless its food. But for what I paid and for as long as it took I…read morefeel I must speak out. This was a very rare coat..in fact I bought the last one. I took it in to be tailored as it was a bit over sized. When told that wasn't something he wanted to tackle.. I asked to have a zipper installed as I am a disabled vet and had problems with the original snaps... long story short he removed my snaps (The zipper was behind so no need) installed fake "Rivets" and didn't even seat/secure them with a tool..just pushed them in "Plugged" the hole with them. Well I lost two of them the first night I wore it. I found them on the floor. I ordered a tool to see if I could seat them, but I bought cheap wrong dies that wouldn't work. The second night worn, the zipper tore loose from the hand stitch. All in all this was beyond a shoddy rushed job that I waited over a month for. I paid $200 for the coat and $150 for this "Work". I didn't take it back and complain, I figured this is the work they do and didn't want to wait weeks again to wear a football jacket when the season is about over. I know how to sew (Thanks grandma) so I will take the $150 loss and just do all the work all over myself. So maybe I got a bad day job, I don't know...but I am throwing this out there to all. If it happened to me with my prize item..I would think hard about giving them your item. I am adding pictures of rivet heads, holes in jacket and zipper and stitching.

PLEASE READ before going here!!!…read more So I took my bridesmaid dress here to get hemmed a few inches at the bottom. I had called and asked for a estimate price and he said he can give me one until he sees the dress, so I took it in and tried it on and he started to add markers and pins to where it needed to be hemmed. I thought "well there's no going back now lol" anyways he rings me up and it costed me $65 which is double what I've ever had to pay to get a bridesmaids dress hemmed. I thought well he must be good then. Especially cause he told me he was on the news for how good he was! (Which isn't even true!) Anyways I went and picked up my dress today, hoping to be satisfied since, paying $65 for a few inches to be hemmed.. I got home and checked it out, because he offered to put my dress in my vehicle for me.. (I took the picture of him cause I thought it was kind of him to help, now I know he was probably just not wanting me to see the crappy job he did until I got home) Anyways, the photos speak for themselves. this was literally the worse sewing job I have ever seen done. My 6 yr old niece could have done better. I least she would have finished it. I have called and left a message asking for a refund cause this is absolutely ridiculous for paying $65, and receiving this back. This dress originally costed me $180 and I payed $65 for it to get ruined. I would never recommend this place and I will actually warn people of it
