Spring Hill is blessed to have a multipurpose recreation campus like this one. I was responsible for picking up my granddaughter 3-4 days a week from various summer "camps" most of the summer. The complex appears to be very well managed & directed. The overall variety of programs for people of all ages is pretty remarkable. The front desk staff are very friendly & knowledgeable. The grounds are well maintained. The interior hallways & classrooms are clean and clutter free. Outdoor pool is popular! Several handicap spaces are available nearer to main entrance. Parking appears to be adequate but always very full. Entrance and exit is a single option off of Commonwealth Drive (cutting through to the adjacent elementary school is blocked off for safety reasons). read more

No tennis coaches!!! I tried to find one for my hitting sessions, and just one pro who s supposed to work there, denied my request for no reasons, she said she's too busy for that and recommended one , who I texted and after my second request he condescended to reply that just to stop communication at all!! If those coaches fancy-shmancy that good for us then what for they are advertised asLongview Rec centre tennis coaches ?? It's no more than big mess. read more

As a teenager who always hears about adults complaining about how we don't go outside or we aren't active, me and my sisters went to Longview recreation center today for the first time and as a first time guest you expect more direction in how things work, well walked in spoke with Donna who was extremely rude. She knew it was our first time as well due to the fact she had to add us to the system. She got our information then proceeded to say it's $5 a person to play pickleball we had no issue with that, she gave us the directions to get to the gymnasium, we walk in and see one guy playing basketball then I'm the other side of the court there was 4 men playing pickleball, not needing to wait in line, or anything. There was a divider splitting the room in half and the other side of the divider there was 3-4 pickleball nets set up, in the beginning of the visit we were not told we had to wait to play pickleball, as me and my sisters start to move another net next to the other 4 men playing pickleball. A staff member walks up and asks us if we had asked permission to put a net there. She proceeds to tell us we have to wait in line (which was new information for us being we were first time visitors) so me and my sisters leave as we are walking out after she rudely approaches us she decides to ask us for help to move the net back, me and my sister walked out not helping someone who was rude to us, I walk up to the front desk ask for a manger then I proceed to tell the manager the situation and they said cannot refund our money back and that they were sorry, they did not apologize for our awful experience all they apologized for was not being able to refund our money. Out of all the recreation centers I've been to this is the worst by far with the awful customer service. read more

Quite literally the worst rec center around. If I could give less than 1 star I would but some of the staff are nice. The amount of horror stories I have from this place are concerning. Firstly if you're playing basketball, expect to have the strap ready in the parking lot, because the people who play take it way too seriously. There are grown men coming in after their 9-5 to play a 14 year old full court and then talk trash when they win. I once got assaulted by a person playing and had to file charges. Where were the employees during this? They were hiding in the break room in the gym having a chat. And you know what the rec center did? Attempted to ban me for 3 months when I never threw a punch. Next I went in last week to play half court basketball at around 5pm and half court was scheduled to close at 6pm. The front desk lady said I could shoot around until they close it to pickleball until I went in there and the employee was shutting it down early to make room for pickleball. He told me I could get my money back at the front desk because a manager had told him he had to shut it down. However when I went to get my money back the manager tried to play dumb and say half court was actually supposed to close at 4pm when it had it posted on the schedule (right in front of him) that it closed at 6pm. They said they "couldn't provide money back" but gave me a free pass to come back. If you're expecting a friendly staff who acts their wage don't come here. They either take everything way seriously or don't care if you're about to get mowed down in the parking lot. Now I can't blame the staff for everything I've had my shoes,basketballs, and bags stolen here before so I don't recommend leaving anything out. Among those items I've only gotten my shoes back that I literally had to take back from the person who trashed them. Some middle school kids stole my $90 basketball that was under my hoodie and bag. I've rarely had an enjoyable experience here for years. I give it a chance every few months and are often let down but it's about the only place you can play basketball around here. Horrible horrible experience !!!! Beau and the short blonde life guard are just awful They said we couldn't lounge on the lounge chairs but we could lounge on the hot concrete! They said the lounge chairs for only weekend guests I definitely don't recommend ever going there!!! I wish I could give a zero star read more

My experience was not that great. Front desk are nice, but I could never get on the machines because it's too crowded or someone just sitting on them looking at their phone. And forget pickleball could never get a court. Waste of money, so I had to cancel. read more

Staff was friendly. I used the indoor pool and enjoyed the space and cleanliness of the locker rooms.

I'm very lucky to have a discounted membership to the Rec Center. It has a large selection of machines and free weights. It can be very busy but their busiest hours are posted to help you avoid those times. There is a raised track above the basketball courts that is smooth and wonderfully kept. It is one of the favorite places to run. The indoor pool is open year round and the outdoor pool is open during the summer months. Overall-it has everything you could want. It might not have the most machines or be super high tech, but it serves it purpose for a great price. read more

We were in town and wanted to find a place to play pickleball. This was a great find! Really nice clean facility. Had a great weight/workout area, indoor and outdoor pool, lots of classes offered. They had 4 basketball courts for open play pickleball (lined as a pickleball court). The day we went there weren't many people but enough to get some good pickleball games in. The regulars said it's usually very crowded. Met some wonderful people who welcomed us. Senior citizen rate is only $2!!! Will definitely go back when we are in town again. read more

Today I went to drop my daughter off at school for the first day. All my children have attended Longview Elementary and I have never experienced this before today. An employee with the Longview Rec Center approached my vehicle from the front and would not allow me to drive past her. If I turned my wheel to the left she walked to the left if I turned my wheel to the right she walked to the right. I proceeded to put my window down and communicate with this employee. She was close enough to know that I was having a hard morning (TEARS ROLLING DOWN MY FACE) but proceeded to tell me. We (parents) would NOT be aloud to park in the Longview Rec parking lot from here on out. I have never been treated with such lack of regard as to what was happening that morning (FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL) My children and I attend this Rec Center for swimming among other things and we will not be back again. read more

This pool was huge, nice place, took tour temp before you walked in. Slides were closed so kids were unhappy. The pool had a lot of sand in it to one side and some of the walls were pretty stained. One of the pool lights was broken. But all in all my daughter had a great time. read more

DIRTY CLEAN THIS PLACE UP!!! Locker room looked like it hadn't been mopped in months and showers were the same.

Friendly, clean, good variety. Nothing fancy shmancy here but that's not what I'm paying for. Incredible value for the money. I like that I can get in and get out quickly and feel accomplished. While there are certainly prime hours to avoid, most of the times I decide to go I feel like I have the workout room to myself which I absolutely love! So convenient and literally three minutes from my house. Can't complain read more

Lots of amenities to use. Don't get the getting out of the pool every hour for 10 minutes.I don't speak whistle either.

when looking for a place to work out where I live discovered that this is part of williamson county park and rec and it is a heck of a deal. It is a beautiful facility and has anything you could want. Swimming, Basketball, Raquetball, Various Class options, track, machines, weights. The price is awesome you can drop in for 3.00 or buy a membership for a family around 200.00 a year. You also can use the other locations if you so chose. I have always felt comfortable here. Decent crowd and they also have a huge video game area that looked really cool. The only beef is I live in spring hill and actuall in Maury County and they really seem caught up in the fact if you are "eligible" to become a member based on where you live---it is just that general attiude I get from people since moving to TN that williamson county is the very elite best place ever and I just don't agree...I am eligible to join based on my address so I guess I should be thankful that they are letting the Maury county residents in because they live in Spring Hill....... read more

The big pluses to this location are the pool and basketball court. The workout equipment is limited and dated, and it can get very crowded making it nearly impossible to work out. Since they raised their prices and charge extra for classes, it's not the great deal it used to be. I would say if you have kids who like to swim or play basketball, this is the place to go in Williamson Cty, otherwise there are better gyms in the area. I can think of three actually. read more

This is simply the best value anywhere for a gym in WilCo (that's Williamson County, for you folks from outside of paradise). It's not packed pull of the sexiest people - which can either be good or sad, depending on how you look at it. The hours are reasonable and the membership is good at the other locations across town. I can work out here by my house and at the one in Brentwood on the way home from work. read more

I work out here regularly in the morning hours since I work from home. It's rarely packed and very clean. The machines for the majority, elliptical, treadmills all work consistently and are rarely out of order. I also enjoy the pool to do lap swimming! The only downside I would have is that they don't have a return discount for annual passes like they used to. However, if you work out or enjoy exercising on a regular basis this is a great place to get your money's worth! read more

Great place to work out for very reasonable prices. They are very good to veterans which I love. The only con is the staff in the child care facility. Several of the child care staff are extremely rude. When I complained to another staff member I was told that " you were dealing with my daughter and she is great so you must have just taken her wrong". I have spoken to several other spring hill moms who told me they had similar experiences and quit going. If you are interested in working out with a trainer Randianne is fantastic. I highly recommend her. Update: Today I had a much better experience with the child care staff. They have hired some new personal and the two young brunette girls that were working today were very nice. For some reason my daughter was crying today at the child care and the manager came into the gym to let me know. She was extremely kind and sympathetic.
