Finally an update.... Service manager: Clem took care of me and got rid of all the scratches on the car. I talked to him in person and just dropped by to see if they had time to fix the car. Clem got me a loaner and took care of the main issue, the scratches on the car. Guess I will be a regular at Longo, but I will skip the car wash. If you have any issues with service at Lingo, talk to Clem. He seems sincere that he wants happy customers and he is the main reason I will still recommend Longo. read more

Untrustworthy!!! This review pertains to their Service Department. I thought by coming to a dealership, I knew I'd be paying a premium, but felt i was buying in for peace of mind. I absolutely feel that I've been I switched to Longo because of proximity and absolutely regret it. Unbeknownst to me, because I've been getting full synthetic oil changes, I should have been changing my oil every 10k instead of every 5k. I didn't know this and when the maintenance light came on at 5k, I took it into Longo Lexus for what I thought was a required oil change. Not once, but twice. Did anyone mention that I didn't need the oil change??? Nope - they basically just took my money quietly. Also, I specifically asked about my brakes on my last visit to Longo because I heard some squeaking. My customer service rep was somewhat dismissive and told me they were ok. Now 5k later, the other dealership (my original one) tell me that I've only got 1mm left on my front brake pads. Was this a ploy to have me run my pads down to my rotors and maybe have a more expensive service? Who knows. Sad to say, that's what went through my head. Overall, I'm unbelievably disappointed at my experience with Longo Lexus - especially because my first visit was rather pleasant. I refuse to continue being a patron at a business that I find dishonest and dismissive. I wonder if it was just the one particular customer service rep that I had that day but shame on them for having employees like that. read more

This isn't to effect their rating, because quite frankly, you can't go lower than 1 star. So I went back to get my window fix (see other review when the guy said it was due to my non existent tint) because the scratching had gotten worse, so it wasn't a rock but something in the door!. Anyways point of this update. I got a loaner car because they don't fix things over the weekend. and while driving on the freeway a rock hit the window, causing a small crack. I immediately called Longo to which they said they didn't know what to do and that I would have to call the loan center when they opened Monday. Called several times Monday no pick up at all! And so the small crack grew and grew, because you know I have work to get to, but apparently they don't need to do their job and PICK UP THE PHONE OR RETURN ANY MESSAGES. When I drop off the loan car crack is now half way across the windshield. Told the valet guy, he said they probably wouldn't charge me because it wasnt my fault. Told the loan car guy, nope, apparently its my fault and Im liable. He told me it would be a day or two for an estimate, fine, call my cell. FAST FORWARD TWO WEEKS LATER. Calls my HOME phone rather than my cell, saying its about 900$ to replace the entire windshield. I just wanted this information out there because when this happened to me and I Googled it, nothing came up. Also, note, they DO NOT offer loan car insurance, its your insurance or its out of pocket. EDITED ON 8/15/2015 I just want to point out AGAIN that this review was just to let people know what happens in this event because Lexus was completely useless. And that instead of fixing a small crack in the windshield I'm paying for it to be replace. Huge cost difference I'm sure. But thanks Lexus for choosing to reply and being jerks about it. No. I don't need to see your policy. Maybe you should have your employees read up on it so when I ask them they know. Or better yet, answer your damn phone lines or return messages. read more

Why is it SO hard to buy a Lexus??? Cerritos Lexus was CRUDE and RUDE and now I have to deal with this BS??? Inquired about a purchase and the sales girl NEVER responded to my emails. Her name was Elise Fong. The bitch obviously doesn't like to work. I guess I have to resort to Lexus of Glendale. read more

Longo. Great selection. I mean huge. I stopped by Glendale Lexus one day and waited 20+ minutes before I had to ask someone for help. And when I got it, the guy was extremely unhelpful. I'm in a white t-shirt/jeans. Sorry Glendale, that's how I roll. You pretentious f's. But I didn't give up on Lexus looking for a hybrid. When I got to Longo, Felix eagerly shook my hands and showed me around the inventory. And while it took me 3 visits to seal the deal, Felix was never pushy; always calm. We even hung out, grabbed a lunch and BS'd a bit when he picked me up from the BMW dealer where I dropped off my previous lease. Look him up if you go. He's simply a cool dude with great follow up. read more

Please check to make sure that your navigation system works before leaving the dealer. I bought a Lexus LS 430 Pre-owned Certified 2005 about 8 mos ago from this dealership and the navigation system never worked. When I enter the address to where I wanted to go, it kept coming back unknown or don't exist. After 8 mos, a friend of mine checked it out and told me that the map is Seattle and that I need to call the dealer to get a California map. I called and the service dept. told me that in order for them to update the software to a 2010 map, I would have to pay $200. I told them that I don't need no 2010 map, I just need a map that should have worked 8 months ago in my Lexus when I was charged for the nav system. Give me a 2009 map because that is what should have been in my system so that nav would work. They refused it. Here is a vehicle that I purchased for over $40k and added $2700 for extended warranty for up to 125k miles and they won't get my navigation system to work. I feel like it's pointless driving a luxurious car paying a luxurious price and not getting even decent service. The manager should make it an exception and get my navigation system to work. It's not worth losing a customer over it. read more

Prepare to wait for at least an hour. They always try to push for more time by saying they're washing your car or what not. One good thing is the people here are always more than willing to help. Well at least most of the people. The reason I am giving this place a two out of five is because of my car. It keeps having problems and I keep on having to come back! I've already had 3 recalls and one of the employees was telling me that 3 was considerably little....Wtf.... He told me that there was a 2006 model that had 8 or 9 recalls...Hmmm..... I don't know if that should be happening. I have to admit though, I like this place better than Penske's service in Covina =X. At least the people in Lexus reteurns your calls promptly. read more

I had a very bad experience with the salesperson of this dealer. I cannot believe that a credit check and proof of auto insurance are required to test driver a vehicle. Although I brought to the attention of the sales manager on duty, and how waived the requirements, but his salesman still insisted that proof of auto insurance is required. This will be my last time dealing with Longo read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! My BF brought his LS460 here for service a few months back, right after we drove it off the lot, one of the hose in his engine exploded. But Lexus wouldn't acknowledge it was their mistake until he filed a complaint to corporate. Only then, they were willing to replace the part but AT OUR EXPENSE. Now, few months later, we decided not to hold a grudge, and give them a second chance. We brought it in for TPM replacement and standard service. Everything was fine when we brought the car in, but once again, we received a phone call saying his tire beading ripped upon removal, required replacement and requesting us to pay for the cost... for something they screwed up. Even though after complaining, they were able to compensate for it. But upon getting the car back, there was no car wash AND they scratched my BF's rims... Thank you for all the trouble but we shall look elsewhere when another service is due. read more

I am glad that I have purchased my second Lexus from Longo Lexus. This time, my experience just gets better and better, Vincent Dinh was my salesperson and he was outstanding. My wife and I were very happy with the accommodations that he had provided from start to finish. Most importantly, it was his willingness to assist us with the available options from financing vs leasing and the different features for our vehicle. The entire time, we did not feel rushed and felt very comfortable working with Vincent. Generally, we do not like to visit car dealerships because of the difficult buying process. When I came here to buy my Lexus I was kind of pissed off that some sales lady got pissed off at me over commission. I was getting the CT200h when it was still low stock (2011) and nearly unobtainable. Sales people like to give you the run around and even though I had a $500 deposit, whenever I called they would tell me the car hasn't arrived yet. Consequently, I took it upon myself to get in touch with multiple sales reps at Longo to see if they were actually telling me the truth (of course they weren't). Long story short, one day I decided to spontaneously drive here to see if a CT200h was available and of course there was 2 in the underground parking lot (one was already sold). However, even though there was an extra CT available, I wasn't contacted it was just pure luck that one day I walked in and one was on the lot. I decided to purchase that extra CT on the spot. This made everything confusing because apparently Im only supposed to negotiate with one sales rep. This lady that worked there got all pissed off at me basically stating that I was screwing up their commission process because I talked to multiple sales rep (which wasn't really my problem because I just wanted the damn car I can care less who was getting the commission since NO ONE informed me that an extra CT was available). I don't want to get anyone in trouble but I really don't recall names anyways since this was back in 2011. Anyways, I walked away with the car but can't help but to think that perhaps if a customer was buying their first Lexus they'd be treated better. On the bright side, Longo Lexus has a beautiful maintenance center. Verdict? Try Jim Faulk over Longo if you are looking to purchase a vehicle. read more

Great: I've taken my cars to Longo service for over 10 years. They check me in quickly and my consultants are ready to speak with me quickly. Work is done timely as well. My car runs fine. All is well. Not so Great: This is the second time consecutively that the same service consultant has told me that I have a nail in my tire. I have been driving fine for months since my last service - have not seen any loss in air pressure or felt any strange driving issues at all but there's a nail in my tire and it can't be fixed? His claim is supported by the fact that my prior consultant said my tires were wearing down so I should replace them. The first time several years ago, I sat by another customer who's service consultant told her the EXACT SAME thing prior to this particular person saying it to me seconds later. The lady and I looked at each other with utter suspicion. This was the reason I stopped meeting with this consultant immediately (for several years) until this time around when I forgot to ask for Frances, so I get a nail in my tire again. One time, ok. Two times is highly questionable. read more

Came back here because my cell phone was still not synchronized with the car, and this was right before the "hands free while driving" law was in effect earlier this year...well, I am sure most people on the road still hold their cell phones and talk like no tomorrow these days. Just ask our respectable Kalifornian governor Mr. Schwarzenegger right? Ha... Normally I'd fix all tech-related gadgets without the manuals. Not this time. My old phone and the car device just wouldn't cooperate with each other. So I pulled out the manual and actually read it. Day 4, I gave up trying. Having had the prior nightmare from Longo's service department, I went straight to the sales building looking for familiar faces. It was very early in the morning. No luck. Just when I was about to take off, a gentleman came out and greeted me. He then directed me to the most "tech savvy" guy in the sales department. Tech guy took my phone and started the car. In addition, I was offered a seat and drinks whilst waiting. An hour later he also gave up. But what an effort! Later I found out that it was my old phone who didn't like my car. So I got a new phone, and there had been nothing but harmony since. The reception range is so good that it picks up the signal from my cell phone in the bedroom upstairs, while the car is being warmed up in the garage. As I've described in my previous review, the experience with Longo's sales department has always been beyond excellence. I do apologize for not remembering those 2 gentlemen's names. Now I am debating whether to go back to its service department for the navigation system update. Note: Some Sony Ericsson cell phones are Lexus haters. If your intent is to get a phone that works with the car, make sure you test it out before signing the phone contract. read more

Finally retired the Lexus I purchased here; and it reminded me about the awesome purchase experience here over 10 years ago. Yep that pre-dates yelp! Self consciously old feeling now... Showed up here looking at certified cars. And the stickers were higher than the budget. Just wishful window shopping and gathering intel about current asking prices. Nowadays this stuff is all online - you didn't have to burn gas and bounce from one dealership to the next. The very last car I looked at - was priced significantly less than the others. I had to do a double take. Certified. Low miles. What the heck was wrong with it? I wondered this aloud to the salesman next to me. He agreed, the price seemed too low and checked his sales sheet. After some guffawing and going back to the sales manager, he said indeed the window price was incorrect. But they would honor the price, admittedly consumer law requires them to do so. That pesky "3" is just so darn close to the "2" on the keyboard. Yep I got the car for $10k less! A long overdue public thanks to Longo. They took it on the chin with class. read more

I love Longo Lexus! With just a few exceptions, Longo service consultants and technicians have been impeccable. Even their courtesy shuttle service drivers are nice and friendly. Overall, Longo is: -Always ontime -Always responsive -Always have great attitude -Always deliver great mechanics and service Their facility is nice and spacious, and the process for courtesy cars are very easy. I always get a courtesy car, but if I am patient and wait, they always are speedy and expedite my service so I don't get too bored surfing their complimentary internet, TV and magazines. I've been to other Lexus dealerships, but one scratched my car while I was at the shop, and the other didn't service my car right and the problem remained. I came here after what was a unanimous exclamation at work of "You have to go to Longo!" right after I mentioned that I was looking to buy a Lexus. I was glad for the recommendation because I had already gone to Beverly Hills Lexus and did not have such a great experience. This place is all business which is exactly what I want from a dealership. They have a high volume inventory and their people are experienced and good at what they do,so no unnecessary shmoozing and sterotypical car salesman type antics. Came here on a weekend inquiring about the new CT hybrid. Was immediately asked if I wanted to test drive it, and within minutes, was out on the road! Ended up buying the car a few weeks later and am loving it. I feel good about the experience I had buying my first car there and they gave me a pretty decent price for my trade-in. My salesman Felix Giles was really down to earth and honest. He didn't skimp on any of the details or showing me all the features of the car after I bought it, even though it was already 11 something at night. Go to Longo, people! Ask for Felix! :-) read more

Came two days in a row ready to leave with a new car. Walked and walked .....and walked some more, but nothing. Not one person came to help me. I mean, Isn't this supposed to be the #1 car dealership for Lexus? because I'll tel you right now, if this were my dealership; customer service would be priority. I see plenty of sales associates inside, Yes; I'm writing this review parked right in front and there is not that many customers. What's the excuse? Maybe I don't look like I can afford it? Young? Female who is alone? The list can go on. I'm disappointed to say the least. Two days, Two hours of my time wasted even after I gave a second chance. I will get my CTSport, just not here read more

This was by far the BEST car buying experience we have ever had! Well at first it was shockingly busy. I think the first sales guy that came up to us did not take us seriously but luckily we got someone else. We came in Sunday to test drive the RX 350 not even sure if this was the car we wanted or not and ended up leaving with two!If it was not for VINCE DINH I honestly don't think we would have left with a car or even a Lexus. Vince was really patient and honest with us from the get go. He definitely did not waste our time. I feel like Vince was working for US. He is not one of those typical douche sales guys that make you feel an ass for not wanting to do business with them. If you ever need a Lexus look for VINCE DINH otherwise your wasting your time! Usually I don't write reviews but this time I have to share my satisfying experience with Longo Lexus. I visited Longo Lexus on 6/29 (four months before lease end) for maintenance. While I was waiting to get my car checked, I wanted to explore what options I have for an early return and that's how I met Hieu Le who assisted me. Hieu engaged in our conversation immediately with a positive attitude and smiling face. He displayed colors and models on his monitors so I could actually visualize each car. He tried to meet my needs and expectations about the color, concerns about indoor space, side molding bars, monthly payment etc and finally I found a car I wanted and I decided to return my existing one and get a new one. During almost one and a half hours of consultation, he maintained a welcoming vibe and answered all my questions and concerns so when I left Longo Lexus, I didn't have any doubt with my choice. On 7/3, the day of vehicle delivery, only just a couple hours before the car is supposed to be delivered, I realized I have installed dash-cam to my existing Lexus. So I talked to Hieu that I have to reschedule delivery in order to remove the dash-cam. He noticed I was disappointed for not getting the new car and he put all his effort to find any possible ways to get me the new car without delay. Finally we decided to get the new car as scheduled and he's going to take a look if he can remove the dash-cam. When he arrived with the new car, of course I was happy to have a new car and luckily he was able to remove the dash-cam himself. From consultation all the way through vehicle delivery, he truly made me feel Lexus treats me as a valued customer. My initial thought when I visited Longo Lexus was I'm going to switch to another vehicle brand if I'm not satisfied with options and Hieu changed my mind. It's not just selling a car. It's all about how you treat people and put an effort to meet their needs. I also give a big compliment to Frank Lorusso for his friendly and professional attitude during maintenance process and Jackson who came to my place with Hieu to do payperwork and get rid of the dash-cam and the lady sitting right next to Hieu (I don't recall her name..) for her very friendly attitude while she's checking if I'm eligible for early return options. Actually when she introduced me to Hieu, she said I'm in good hands so no need to worry about getting the best deal. Observing those great team playing gave me huge confidence in both of them and the dealer. All the people I met at Longo, all of them was so great to demonstrate professionalism and displayed attitude how they value their customers. They all deserve a huge shout out. I'm so satisfied with this experience and glad I didn't switch to another vehicle brand and stick to Lexus for another three years.. read more

Tried to lease a car here. Layout of the dealership was a little confusing as there's no directions to where the sales office was, but it's not a big deal. Arrived there and first thing I got was some crap from some sales guy standing on the side of the road about how I was driving too fast. Ugh yea, 10mph in a parking lot is too fast. Maybe I should have got off my car and pushed it from behind. That will probably make him feel better. Maybe he should consider a career in the CHP as well. Anyways, since I'm here to lease a car, I didn't care much about his attitude since I was more concerned with the price. Went into the dealership, and talked to an Asian salesperson. Told him I wanted to cut through the sales talk and just talk about price, since I already know what car I wanted. That still didn't stop him from his 10-15mins sales pitch about longo lexus is different compared to other lexus dealerships in LA area. Okay, I'll live with that. Next, he insisted on showing me the car even though I repeatedly said I just wanted to know the price they can offer. But okay, I'll play along. Went down to the garage, looked at the 3 cars they had in stock that I wanted. No idea what purpose that served, but sure. Went back to his desk, and then he said he needed to pull my credit report to tell me the numbers. I provided him copies of my credit report with my FICO score from all 3 bureaus that I just purchased from myfico. He said that wouldn't work. Okay sure, so I filled up the credit app, and the FICO scores he got was higher than what I had. Still, not sure what purpose that would have served, since my FICO score was already 750ish and the score he pulled was 770ish, and Lexus tier 1 credit was just 720 cut off. After some back and forth negotiation, he insisted on charging a premium for that car simply because the color I wanted (ice white with red interior) was in great demand. They had 3 cars in stock, none of them were taken, and they wanted a $50/month premium on top of an already higher base price compared to keyes Lexus. I asked him to talk to his manager and he didn't even want to. I then showed him paper quotes that Keyes Lexus gave me and he budged by reducing the monthly premium by $12.89 (not sure where he came up with 89 cents, but whatever). So, I gave up, left the dealership with inquiries pulled on my credit report for god-knows-why, drove to Keyes Lexus right away, and walked out of that dealership with the same exact car specs for $60/month less than what Longo quoted. Lesson learnt for me. Don't let stupid people pull my credit report for no reason. read more

Hi. I luv my 2007 Lexus 350 ES, but I needed a small SUV, with a hitch, to tow bikes and stuff, so I came in to Longo Lexus. My salesperson was Stephen Tran. He is a knowledgeable, energetic, likeable person. Without much prompting, he obtained a fantastic deal for me! I received a reasonable trade-in amount for my 350 ES,$5,000, and he found two hidden rebates, which added up to an additional $2,000 in unexpected savings for me! Mr. Tran also stayed late to process my purchase and contract, so that I would not have to return on another day. He wanted to make sure that my apparatus was synced in with the new car, which is a 2017 NX 200T. He also offered additional assistance with the GPS or any other feature in the car, should I need more explanation, on future visits or service. This Review is for the Service Department. I'm going to have to admit that I was a bit dramatic when I found out my service advisor of 5 years was no longer here! I even looked at other service departments because after meeting with a few other advisors not one matched up to him. However, this quickly changed when I had to drive out of town & needed to service my car. I had meant to call the front desk & dialed the phone number that belonged to my previous advisor. I got a quick friendly response, this gentleman introduced himself & set a same day appointment and assured me he would take care of it. When I arrived for my appointment he was professional, friendly & patient! & most important to me he listened. GUS NAVARRO went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my service. He has provided such a great customer service experience that I forgot someone else existed before him! Ha-ha. Looks like I have found a new service advisor to bring coffee too! This review is for the service department. My 2009 IS250 has had a few recalls on it over the years, so unfortunately, I have to keep returning to their service department. If it weren't for that, I would never come here at all. In April, my car had to be brought in for a wiper recall, a trunk release recall, and an engine recall. They would only be able to fix the wiper and trunk release on that appointment and would have to order the parts to fix the engine recall that wouldn't arrive for a few months. Not much I could do, so I turned my car over to them and headed to the loaner car desk. When I got there, I asked if they had any vehicles with GPS, because I use that feature frequently for business in my own car. Whoever was working that day told me that they do have some cars with that feature but they would have to be reserved. I asked the gentleman, "How do I do that?" and he told me to just make that request when I schedule my next appointment. At that point, what can I do but take whatever downgrade they want to hand me. On July 10, 2013, Jerry Temores let me know that the other parts for the third recall had arrived and I could schedule an appointment. I scheduled it for the 16th and specifically requested a car with GPS be made available. He said that it wouldn't be a problem and he would take care of it. On the day of my service appointment, I drop my car off, meet with Jerry, and after going through the service procedure and expected service time (5 days), head again towards the loaner car department. This time at the counter is Alex Tejada. I approach and tell him that when I scheduled the appointment with Jerry, I requested a loaner car with GPS. He tells me that Jerry doesn't know how their system works, and besides, that type of car can't be guaranteed. So, would you like an IS or a CT (neither with GPS). So I tell him that I'd prefer to have a loaner car with GPS, but he states that there aren't any available, and I reluctantly agree to take an IS. And of course, right when we step outside, there is an RX with GPS sitting in front of us. So I ask Alex, what's the deal with this car? And he tells me that it's loaned out. Why would a loaner car be sitting amongst the pool of cars if it had already been loaned out? Picking up your loaner car is the last thing that is done in the service process. Why would a client get his loaner car but then just leave it there and hang out at Longo? Unless of course, you actually CAN reserve the vehicle of your choice. Those vehicles CAN be saved and guaranteed. You just have to be somebody that Longo considers important. Or at least, more important than me. read more

They provided the quality, care, and integrity you would expect from lexus. I drove all the way from Irvine to get my car and can tell you it was well worth it. There are 3 dealerships within close range from me in Irvine, one of them being Newport Lexus. I initially went there to look at cars and although they pride themselves on their million dollar dealership (yes they actually made it a point to tell me that) their customer service was nothing compared to the personable and friendly staff af longo lexus. I will gladly keep driving all the way to El Monte for their million dollar service. Based on my experience I know they will give just as much care and attention to my car. Thanks for helping us with everything Sergio and Dennis. I look forward to coming back and passing on your name and service to friends and family. read more

Do NOT be fooled by false promises of a replacement rental car for warranty related repairs. After explaining to 2 separate service reps that both agree my Lexus is still under warranty for a faulty passenger door lock that will not lock, Longo does not want to pick up my vehicle for faulty Lexus warranty related items. I never encountered these silly issues with my BMW. Fortunately, another dealer can be compensated for these warranty repairs. I can also now refer future Lexus purchasers to an alternative dealership for their new Lexus knowing Longo does not honor their word. read more
