My vehicle repair at Longo has a horrifying back story which ONLY had a happy ending thanks to the EFFORTS of Matt Derro and his boss Robert. Following a mild fender bender, my insurance company sent me to one of their preferred collision shops who will remain nameless. When I went to pick up my car there was significant damage to the back fender (it didn't come in with this!) which was not the area to be repaired. After several months going back and forth with my insurance company, they authorized my chosen place for repair. Having had nothing but superior service and results from them in the past when servicing my car in the past, I chose Longo. While inspecting my car, OTCR Estimator Matt Derro found SEVERAL other places where my car had been damaged, including sub par work on the front bumper, the site of the initial damage. Because Longo certifies their work, Matt explained that the only way they could accept my car for repair was by gaining approval from my insurance company to fix ALL damaged areas. Matt worked tirelessly, even getting his boss Robert involved, to solve my problem and ultimately secured permission to fix all damaged areas including a redo of the original original repair!! Other than unsurpassed attention to detail, a passion for getting it right, long standing relationships (which he and Robert exercised!) with the insurance company, I found Matt to be one of the strongest customer advocates I've encountered over the course of my life. But having someone like Julien at their service department help you out and try to explain the "damages" in a very professional, friendly and HONEST way, makes the burden actually easy. First he started off by checking if my car was under warranty, then he checked if any recalls were done to the car, then gave me options. They are on the pricey side and they do try to make you get services you don't necessarily need but if you educate yourself by reading online especially Lexus owner chat rooms you will know what is necessary and what is not. He knew he offered me the best deal he could the first time around, and encouraged me to shop around and even check out different types of cars. It was really important for me to have certain options, but I didn't want to pick a car that had different options and pay for the ones I wanted. They advertised a car on auto trader for a certain price and with 0% financing for 72 months. When I arrived at the dealership a salesman named Dennis Lo told us that the prices quote and financing quote was actually put on THEIR ADD by auto trader and it was not accurate....SAY WHAT !!!!!!!!. All this advertised financial info was contained in Longo's add and they are telling me it is not accurate ?????? Then why isn't Longo putting a disclaimer under the add saying the info IS NOT INFO FROM LONGO ????? Very sneaky, slimmy, ugly way of getting people to show interest in a vehicle and will recommend to all I know to avoid this place like the plague. Im giving 1 star for a very horrible crazy experienced at the service department. Service Manager Clem called me for a false commitment to fix my car!!! I have warranty until this very moment and yet Lexus Longo denied to fix my car instead they want me to pay extra $700 from the $1700 work. What is that? I have 3 Lexus car: RX, NX and ES350 and because of this horrible terrible experience Im going to buy my Tesla and get rid of my Lexuses!!! Its not worth it to exert all my energy just to claim my warranty to Lexus because its sucking all my energy and its stressing me out!!! Lexus top management should do better job in their service department. I hate dealing with businesses who are very good when you purchase cars to them but after sales they dont give their best effort to help out!!! I deeply regret i switched to Lexus!!! This review is specific to their parts department and Gabriel especially. I have two Lexus dealerships within 10 min of me in San Diego. I called both trying to order a part for my Lexus GX. Both said the part was on back order and wouldn't come in until the end of August at best. I go online and find the same part at Longo and it is discounted. I make the order online and Gabriel called me right away and told me the part was-in fact-on back order but that he would do everything possible to get it to me within a week. Sure enough, 4 days later he calls and said the part arrived and he would get it to me right away. I woke up the next morning with it on my doorstep. Just fantastic service all around. read more

I seriously don't even know where to begin! I think in a nutshell I could summarize my entire experience at Long Lexus as follows: Professional, courteous, patient, honest, and absolutely going the extra mile. I walked in the dealership wearing my gym outfit on a Tuesday afternoon. Totally not looking like a guy who might be serious in the least, and to be honest, I wasn't keen or serious in any way about purchasing a car that day. However, I was greeted warmly by someone at the front desk and they asked me if I needed help, I said that I'm just curious about a CPO Lexus (or as they call it "L-Certified". One minute later, literally, Stephen Tran approached me with a big, genuine smile and asked me how I was doing. Then he went on to ask me why I was there. I explained the story of my total loss car to him (which happened a month and a half prior to that date), and that I was just looking around for cars within my budget. I also added that I'm not serious and I don't have the money for a down payment since I haven't gotten my car's check from my insurance company, yet. Stephen was as professional as they come. He assured me that he's willing to help me look at whatever they have at the moment, and when I'm ready, I could come back and start an application. We looked at cars on their thick catalog (this is an incredibly huge location, so they have hundreds of cars on their lot at any given moment), and I didn't really see anything that caught my eyes. One page later, Stephen noticed that there was a 2014 black GS 350 that's available, and the price of the car dropped $7000 because it's been sitting there for 45 days and they had to move the car. I got excited and wanted to check it out, so we went, and we found a note on the car's windshield that said "deal working", which means that someone else is at the dealership right now already in the process of having their credit ran and interested in purchasing the car. That was a huge bummer because the car was gorgeous inside out. Fast forward to 30 minutes later, the other customer got declined and Stephen told me that the car is mine if I wanted it and that they're willing to work with my down payment until I get the money from my insurance. Fast, honest, and convenient is what followed. Stephen and Yong (a financial manager at the location) took care of everything. I was treated like royalty the whole process. They're absolutely accurate with their deadlines and they provide everything they promise. I even got some valuable car gifts sent to me after the point of sale, and the follow up at Stephen's end was exemplary. If you're looking for a dealership that goes FAR and beyond, look no more. It doesn't even matter if you live a little far away, the drive is absolutely worth it. This is my third Lexus dealership experience, and Longo beats the competition mercilessly with their attitude and professionalism, let alone the five-star treatment even after you purchase the car. It's no mystery why they're number one in both sales and customer service. They truly earn it! I bought a brake actuator for my GS460 from Longo auto parts. At first I was apprehensive to buy because this part was very expensive. After talking to Chris I took the plunge. Well the part was ordered and I received a email stating a tracking# had been created. After a day or two I noticed no movement through the tracking number on this parcel and did I get nervous. I called and spoke with someone other than Chris, who was off that day, that the package was picked up by the post office mail carrier. Not true. Called the next day and got Chris. Explained to him what happened and immediately he started a investigation. Within 20 minutes he notified me that he located the package and took it to the Post Office himself. I was so relieved. Within days I received the package. Also he refunded my money for expedited services. If I could, I would give Chris 10 stars. Very rare that you find this type of excellent service.
