All of our food was as expected, good. The atmosphere is too busy for Dining, it's fine if your simply eating it's just a fairy simple eating establishment but a bit more upscale compared to Roadhouse or Tuscany Grill. Things like it being very loud and being rushed to hurry up and eat. Here they will not let everyone at your table to finish their salad before serving the entree,, rushing everyone. Both times large family groups were nearby but it didnt affect atmosphere or service. The Onion appetizer was very good. Miley replenished the bread and tea promptly. We had an awesome experience here tonight. The place is clean with a cool steakhouse vibe. There were 6 of us and our waitress, Nicole was amazing. She just got everything right. She was perfectly attentive, friendly and fun while maintaining professionalism. This is not an easy task. Our appetizers were the stuffed mushrooms and the fried onion thing. We enjoyed both, but the mushrooms are not your ordinary stuffed mushrooms. They're really just mushrooms smothered in cheese. For our entrées, we all got steak, except for one person who ordered the ribs. The 3 of us who got the 12 oz ribeye felt like it was excessively over seasoned. When the waitress asked about how the meals were, I told her. I really didn't want to complain because the service was so good and everything else was good, but I just couldn't eat it. I did eat the lobster tail that I had ordered with it. So, I wasn't really starving. The manager came over and asked if I wanted another order. I said no. She then assured me that it would be taken off the bill. They definitely did the right thing. If I ever go again, I know to ask them to go light on the seasoning for sure. Went through today and had issues on the phone using two gift cards that I got for my birthday. I spoke with a lady first who then transferred me to the manager named Lori who was extremely helpful in getting my transactions to go through. This was a birthday gift from a friend so I had 2 gift cards plus a 15 dollar ecard from Longhorn. Lori also gave me a desert gift for my birthday. I took my Mom here to celebrate her birthday. We thought it would be nice to try out since we have never been to a Longhorn steakhouse. Upon walking in I smelled an aroma that I could not place my finger on. I was the only one who smelled it so I let it go. We were seated close to the entrance. The restaurant ambiance was warm and laidback. Lots of Texas charm! Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Our food came out timely and was delicious except for my ribeye steak. The steak needed more seasoning and I really got a fatty steak. My mother enjoyed her meal but my son only enjoyed his fries. He was not a fan of their cheeseburger. Longhorn Steakhouse in Viera. We went for dinner on my birthday last Saturday. Our server was Kaitlyn and if I spelled that wrong I apologize. She was terrific. Very attentive, smiling, awesome personality. She brought us the fresh bread without us having to ask. That's always something I appreciate. I hate having to ask. We always order the Firecracker wraps for an appetizer. I wish I knew how to replicate them at home. I'd start my own business selling them. We each ordered a filet with salad and mashed potatoes. Mine was cooked perfectly all the way through as a medium and my wife needs hers to be medium well, and hers was also done correctly. From being seated, to being greeted, to having our food come out to us unrushed, and being served our entire meal to the precise way they advertise, we were very please, and look forward as always to our next visit to the Viera Longhorn Steakhouse. I have been going to this restaurant since it opened, and Jorge was the manager. For the last three visits, I have presented to the management that their quality of meat has gone bad. I was told to order the thicker cut for the longhorn steak. It did not matter. Each manager I talk to is unable to explain why except the fact that corporate has decided to cut the quality purchase. First, after a day ask eventful few hours at the zoo, shopping around the area and a movie, we were hunnnngry. Restaurant was a little busy but seemed steady. They didn't seem too slammed which was great because that gave our waitress to provide us with great service. Lila was her name? Something like that. First, all the food came out near room temp. It was warm, but it wasn't hot. Disappointed but okay, fine, we got over it. Second, my ribeye was cooked to what exactly what medium was suppose to be. Kudos to the chef for that. My husband's steak was cooked medium rare and that was also perfect. His steak had the perfect char and taste to it. Mine on the other hand tasted so weird. I don't know if it's because of the seasoning how it was overpowered and between that and the char that was on the steak made it taste so weird and left this weird after taste also. Lila did ask if we wanted to take it back, she actually offered and suggested. She kept apologizing, we weren't mad. She said they're having issues in the kitchen and our steak wasn't the only one that had to be taken back either. We felt bad, but she suggested so we took her up on her offer. I mentioned to her that we didn't need another baked potato or broccoli but she brought them out anyway. I appreciated that. Third, the sides we got here the crispy Brussels sprouts (didn't come out crispy at all) and fresh steamed broccoli (weren't fully steamed at all until the second batch came out, pictured). Okay, so finally, the manager tried to make it right. Brought a new steak out, 2 new sides. We accepted and I said "sorry for the troubles" the manager understood and didn't make a big deal about it. We didn't either. She apologized for the inconsistency and even made it up to by taking a % off our bill which I didn't ask for. But we appreciated. I think overall, this location, missed all the marks across the board in food quality. But service was there. Nothing like the location in Alafaya though. (Just sayin) read more

A solid big box restaurant location... My first visit was decent enough to the Longhorn, not spectacular or memorable, but definitely solid. My wife had their sirloin while I had the ribeye. Both were cooked as we request and were good. The sides are always decent as well and there were no complaints. Service was efficient and friendly, just not anything to be overly excited about. Great steak and service! This location is located next to the Shoppes at Viera, right off Lade Andrew Drive. There is parking all around the restaurant. It reminds me of other steakhouse restaurants that I have been to. There are numerous tables and booths with a country/western theme (antler lights, cowboy/cowgirl pictures, dark wood). The hostess seated us quickly. The waitress took our drink order right away and kept us refilled without us ever asking. We ordered the french onion soup, brussell sprouts, 9 oz flo filet, french fries and mac and cheese. The food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The brussell sprouts were overcooked and I did not really like the mac and cheese. The fries were pretty good. The steak and soup were excellent and worth the whole meal. When we told the waitress about the sprouts she took it off the menu. The price was about $50 for 2 people. It was great service, good food, and a reasonable price. Longhorn is my favorite restaurant in all of the Viera area - hands down. My family all agrees as well. We go here at least once a week. We always get a few apps and drinks and we love and have tried every steak on the menu. Love the Parmesan crust too! And those Brussels sprouts- wow! My husband had ordered baby back ribs, which were undercooked and very fatty. He said he had better ribs at the Golden Corral buffet.
