We love Longhorns food and go almost weekly but this location is awful! Ever since this location has opened they have struggled with customer service. The service is horrible and it always takes forever to get your food or even for a waiter/waitress to come to take your order. We go to the next closest location in Cumming Ga which has great service. Do yourself a favor and skip this location. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with my carry out order from LongHorn Steakhouse today. I went inside to pick up my order because I needed salt, pepper and steak sauce. When I arrived at the carryout area, my order was the only one sitting on the shelf, and there were no other customers waiting. It was 11:30 AM and the restaurant only had a few customers. I ask the server for the condiments, and she told me it would be "a minute." After waiting several minutes with no follow-up, I walked over to the bar area (which was completely empty) and used the salt and pepper shakers there. While I was seasoning my food, the server came out, saw me, and abruptly threw the condiments onto the bar without saying a single word before walking away. To make matters worse, I then saw her go to the back and say, "Did you see that sh**?" To another employee. That was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one came out in a timely manner, so I left. The manager eventually came out to my car, and we spoke briefly, but by that point the experience had already been ruined. I'm sharing my experience to help others who might be considering carryout from this location, there are plenty of options in the area. I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

First impression: The hostess was bland and, well, she seemed bored. How do these restaurants not realize the hostess/host sets the tone for the whole customer experience? It took quite a while for our server to make it to the table. She was very pleasant and friendly but it wasn't easy to understand her as the noise level was high (it was busy) and she was wearing a mask. The salads came before the bread, which she apologized for. The dining room was open and dimly lit. The food was as ordered. My filet was tender and juicy. My husband's Outlaw Ribeye was not a great cut. It's typically supposed to be but his was excessively fatty and not very marbled. My sweet potato was small and thrown together. Started with their seasoned steak house wings for appetizer which was really good. They are large wings and seasoned well. For my entree I got the Flo's Filet medium rare with mashed potatoes and fire-grilled corn on the cob. I loved my meal but the mashed potatoes were okay. My husband got the T-bone with corn and brussel sprouts. He enjoyed his food but the steak was drenched in butter and seasonings they add on top. I would say the same for mine. Maybe less seasoned would be good. The kids meals are a good portion size too. Comes with entree, side, milk or juice. Our server was attentive and so nice. I think this location needs a shake-up. The salads are always limp - like they have been sitting for awhile- the baked potatoes are never completely done. I have always raved about their chicken tenders- saying they were the best in town. Yesterday (11/25) they were so overcooked, it was difficult to cut them with a fork. It was pouring rain when we got here. Cute warm atmosphere. Got seated right away and a waitress came and took our order shortly after. I ordered a 6 oz Flo's filet with asparagus and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly along with the asparagus. The salad was nothing special. Very disappointing visit today. We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have always had good experiences until now. In our party of 4, one steak came out at the wrong temperature (it was ordered medium rare and came out medium well). Our server barely acknowledged the error, took the steak back on a bread plate to be replaced. The recooked steak too just as long as the first and was delivered by a different server. Still no acknowledgement of the error and in spite of our glasses all being empty, we had to request drink refills. It would have been appropriate for us to at least have a walk by and check in from the manager on duty, but nothing. This will probably be our last visit here for a while. read more

We were looking forward to trying this new location of Longhorn. We waited almost 25 minutes, on a Sunday, for a table of 6 people...in the pandemic. I was a little worried about so many people in the restaurant but it turned out ok inside. Our service was excellent and we were thanked when we left. The food was just mediocre. The bread and butter was yummy as usual but our appetizer of firecracker chicken wraps was not good. They tasted like something in the frozen food aisle that was heated up. The lobster and shrimp chowder was also mediocre. There was no lobster in it. It was more like a shrimp corn chowder. I don't recommend it. As an entree, I ordered the strawberry salad with salmon which was very good and saved the show. I was impressed with the salmon's flavor and definitely recommend it! I'm willing to give this restaurant another try but ordering different appetizers next time! read more

Here's the deal, I wasn't expecting much from this national chain steak house, but I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I wasn't. It's exactly what I expected. It's not horrible, it just lacks any creativity or anything interesting on the menu. This is a steak house for the average person who doesn't want to think too much about their food and that's perfectly fine, it serves a lot of people well. Before I start the review of the food, I just want to mention how taken aback I was that the "managing partner's" name was displayed in huge letters above the main entrance. Weird flex Mitch Narrison but ok. It's just not something I've ever seen anywhere before, it screams "this is a very corporate establishment". Now to the food. I ordered the filet and lobster combo - I wanted to be fancy and let them show off their most expensive dinner (which by the way the prices are great). I ordered a medium rare steak. It wasn't great. It was a little overdone which was disappointing, but my biggest criticism is it was how salty it was. I cook a lot of steaks at home and have tried a lot of different cooking methods and seasonings, and this was just over the top salty. Now onto the lobster - it was actually great! It was surprisingly cooked perfectly and I thought the flavor was spot on. Nice job on the lobster tail, definitely worth the upgrade. The mashed potatoes were average at best. They were LOADED with butter, like literally a pool of butter, so they tasted decent haha, but my biggest complaint with them was the consistency. It reminded me more of gruel than mashed potatoes, but definitely edible and honestly I needed them to help tamper down the saltiness of the steak. Last but definitely not least - they included an entire mini loaf of bread! It's like the bread you get at subway, which isn't legally considered bread in Ireland because it's too sugary (look it up), but it was a nice touch and I appreciated it. Valentine's Day 2025, we arrived around 7 ish to a 50 minute wait- but the bar area is a first come- first serve seating. After about 10 minutes, a high top got up and we swooped in. Sitting down at a dirty table, we were patient and cracked a joke as the server said wow- y'all sat at a dirty table and you look just like the people who were just there. :-) Having been in the industry for many years, I knew he meant he had been getting kicked for several hours. We knew what we wanted and were able to put the order in rather quickly. Dimitri was our server and he was perfect in all of his mannerisms. Everything came out exactly as we ordered it in appropriate courses, not all at once. The entire restaurant was running so smoothly, all hands on deck with teamwork in the FOH. The kitchen was running smoothly and all of the employees were professionally getting the rush handled. I just want to make sure these folks get their recognition because our experience with no reservation was a 10/10. Upon entering Longhorn at 5pm on a Sunday, it was very empty with only a few tables seated. For some reason, the head hostess/manager advised that it would be a 5-10 minute wait. Finally, my friend and I were called up at the 10 minute mark and the head hostess was still disheveled in regards to seating arrangements and then proceeded to curse at the other employees in front of us. Extremely unprofessional behavior. From there, the experience vastly improved. Our waitress was on point every step of the way. We were promptly served fresh bread and the drinks were good. I had the 9oz. Flo's Filet with parmesan crust, brussel sprouts, and sweet potato. Absolutely delicious. Perfect portion size and great flavors. Wow!! We were impressed! We have been eating at various LongHorn locations over the years, but we've now found our favorite location! Nice atmosphere, friendly attentive server and delicious food and drinks! Finally, in this pandemic, an awesome meal where we left smiling, impressed and satisfied! Great job LongHorn! We started with a few drinks - strawberry daiquiri for me and mom had a margarita. My friend was driving so he had a coke. :). We each ordered soup, it was delicious. Our only issue that night was that my friend's french onion soup never arrived. :(. We asked our server and she checked on it, but the steaks arrived and by that time it was too late (my friend cancelled the soup as it was apparently stalled in the kitchen). Omg, the steaks arrived hot! Woot! My friend and I had Ribeyes, mom had the filet. Our ribeyes were so juicy and tender that my mom had to try mine! She liked it more than the filet! She requires tender steak, so she orders filet everywhere, but now will get Ribeye at this location again! Sooo yummy and delicious. Oh come on! Clearly the first reviewer had never been to a LH before and was expecting Ruth Chris or something comparable. If you have realistic expectations about dining at a Longhorns, I'm confident you will leave happy and satisfied from visiting this establishment. Had the mushroom app, NY strip, salads, drinks, and French onion soup. Everything came out plated perfectly like the menu stock photos and tasted great. Sat at the bar, Lindsay was our bartender. Service was attentive, food was on point, and steaks were cooked perfectly. What else could you ask for? Consistent and delicious is what we look for, and this location nailed it. This review is for Curbside Pickup, not Dine In. I have been to many Longhorn locations before (it's one of my son's favorite restaurants) but this was my first visit to this new location. It was very easy to place my order using the app and the Curbside Pickup process was very straightforward and worked exactly as described when I placed my order. I did receive my check-in text about 10 min before my scheduled pickup time, however because they had a server already outside, she came right up to me when I parked to get my order name and I didn't even have to check in. My service experience was excellent, the food was packaged well for take-out, the location is convenient with plenty of parking, and the exterior appears to be clean and well maintained. The server was masked (even outside) and I'm glad to see they are taking COVID precautions and customer and employee health and safety seriously. I was looking forward to this location opening because it's so convenient to my home, and will definitely be back with my son for Dine In at some point. read more

It's all about expectation. This new Longhorn is very good. All of the items we tried were well prepared and delivered to our table in a timely manner. Of note were the Flo's filet, the lobster tail, the baby back ribs, the loaded baked potato and the Texas Tonion appetizer. The servers were friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable. All-in-all this is a welcome addition to the area. Now if only the county will fix the traffic light so that you don't have to wait for your next birthday to make a left turn. read more

HORRIBLE service. Hostess seated us near the kitchen in a nearly empty restaurant. This was fine but it took nearly 15 mins after asking the hostess multiple times to finally get someone over to our section. Everyone seated after we're being served no problem. When server finally appeared, she had an attitude. We said it's ok we're good and that the hostess should have let her know a table in her section had been seated. Drinks weren't brought until food was served but burger that was to be well done was pink. No apologies, hostess and staff unfriendly upon entering.
