Chicken Salad Chick - 2 sides 2 scoops - Southern Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

Another sad example of a place that was once good, whittled away into a shell of its former self. $30 for two 'melts', with cheese that's just tossed on at room temperature. Bonus hair in both my wife's AND my sandwich. After a decade of patronage, will not be coming back. read more

Chicken salad chick is definitely one of my favorite quick, consistent, and delicious bites. I've been to several locations and they've all really set the standard for CSC. this location stuck out.. unfortunately, I won't say it was like the others. The chicken salads tasted a little off compared to the other locations. Maybe more plain? And to match, the service was not as cheery as the others as well. I might even say messy? I always enjoy being warmly greeted and the staff having it all together. This time the manager or 2 front workers were talking about switching shifts in front of this long line and how one of them wasn't letting the what seemed like new girl use her register? Weird.. I ordered my usual... The Chick Combo, with broccoli salad and an extra scoop PLUS a $6.99 Togo from their packaged section, and a drink.. around $22. They did NOT have the sweet tea available the whole time I waited so I opted for the unsweetened and the lemonade was also not typically meeting the standard for CSC in my opinion.. My fav flavors: Dixie chick (onion), kickin kay lane (buffalo), Scotty (ranch, bacon, cheese), Fruity Fran (pecan, apple, grapes) Lemon (pecan, lemons, basil) Topping it off... then when I got my to go order, no crackers for all the extra scoops I had. No fork and the $2 extra scoop was missing in the box!! Good thing I checked first. Luckily my free cookie was there.. They did resolve it but for the extra crackers they did not have enough at the front. I'm feeling all this has to do with their manager or Management since I always have a wonderful experience, especially at the Dunwoody and Buckhead locations. I'll be sticking with those from now on just to assure I'm getting the best experience , service, and quality from CSC. read more

Chicken Salad Chick - Chicken Salad Melt! So yummy!!! - Southern Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

First time visiting a CSC and it went well. The decor is standard, I imagine The wait time on a Saturday afternoon seemed long (8-10 minutes?) for two, to-go orders. The food was delicious with a consistency of the chicken salad (both scoop and melt). That's key with chicken salad compared to when you get it with a separation of the ingredients and that runny, liquid version. CSC has it right. The to-go presentation was a little lackluster (maybe because of the black trays). Overall, tasty food and worth stopping in for a meal. read more

Shelly and the staff were cheerful and efficient even tho they were buried in catering orders neon picked up and ordered. Great staff!

My order tonight via Uber was missing two key items, and neither Chicken Salad Chick in Alpharetta nor Uber Eats would issue a refund. The manager was dismissive, rude, and made no effort to resolve it. They lost an established customer over $16 and a lack of accountability. Not worth the hassle. Stay away from this place. Won't consider them for corporate catering moving forward and plan to share this experience with all colleagues in this area as a red flag. read more

The chicken salad is great. My wife and I love the "Fancy Nancy". Plus, the service is great. I wish I would've gotten the name of the lady at the front when we went at noon on 5/10/24. She was really nice; walked around the counter to find us at the drink machine and hand us our food. Ambiance is always nice. The franchise's signs in the men's bathroom are funny. They poke fun at the restaurant's "feminine" decor and meal names like "Fancy Nancy" and ways to enjoy the restaurant while maintaining your masculinity . Just a great lunch spot all around. read more

So needed to kill some time while waiting for my next meeting and wanted to eat and work on my laptop. The location didn't have WiFi but Ella said well you can take to go. I made the decision to stay and eat. When I walked in 2 employees- Ashley and Suzanne had their backs turned and Ella came running from the dining room to take my order. I got my food and was eating and I had my AirPods in. Suzanne was on the ladder dusting which I thought was gross with it flying right near the window where the food sits. All I heard was giggling, I was the only customer in the dining room and I couldn't eat in peace because Suzanne and Ashley started cleaning the dining room and laughing and it just sounded like kids in school. I couldn't wait to leave. The food was ok I always enjoy the Barbie-Q chicken salad, but won't dine in this location again. read more

Chicken Salad Chick - Supposed to be a "Fancy Nancy" - Southern Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

Dined in for dinner and food came super fast. Server was friendly and helped me with recommendations of what to eat. First time here and I was pleasantly surprised as it doesn't look like much from the outside. If you didn't know it was there you would pass right by it. Chicken salad didn't disappoint as I hoped it wouldn't as that's in the name. Freshness of the croissant, bacon and lettuce made the sandwich. Pasta salad was just okay but there were other option I probably should have chosen. Frosted cookie was a nice treat at the end of the meal. Overall a good experience would definitely return in the future when back in town. read more

The service was atrocious! After waiting about 20 minutes to order, I got to the front with one cashier who was struggling to put the order in the computer. The food was so so not as good as it used to be after completing my meal. I waited another 20 minutes to take some chicken salad to go when I got to the front I was told that I would have to wait till all the orders were prepared for them to get some ready for me, how ridiculous and unacceptable. I would not visit this location again. read more

Zach was the best part about the experience! He was so nice and welcoming as we came in and ordered, I appreciate his suggestions as my vision is bad and I could not read the menu. The food was delightful and I enjoyed the buttercream cookie that comes on the side! Only 4 stars because the pimento cheese doesn't taste seasoned with anything so that could have been better flavor wise. Both meals were ($8.95) so you definitely get your value for the money spent. The establishment has a very peaceful vibe inside and the patio is spacious as well. read more

Left review a few weeks ago no response from the service at Alpharetta location, this shows me corporate doesn't care about customer service

MUST TRY - found this place on Yelp and I am so glad I went! I ordered the trio with the Dixie Chick (classic recipe with onions), chicken poblano soup, and the pasta salad. It came with a crisp pickle and a cute mini buttercream frosted cookie. To say it was delicious is an understatement! I ate ALL of it and though it was very filling, could have had more! To top it off, the watermelon ice tea split with unsweet tea was the right amount of sweet! Now only if I lived here, I'd be a regular! read more

I first heard about this place when I was out of town and finally made it in. Let me start by saying the decor is super cute and I was greeted by Zach who was SO kind! He put a smile on my face and even let me try a sample of the chicken salad I was interested in. I ordered the Kickin Kay Lynne- super flavorful and really not spicy at all for my taste. Order it on a croissant- delicious!! I also got a side of the baked potato soup which was nice and hot and very delicious as well. You get a lot of food for the price ($11 for a sandwich, chips, and cup of soup) and they give you a cookie too! I will definitely be back! read more

Cute southern hospitality spot in alpharetta. Good chicken salad, excellent chicken artichoke soup. Nice and hot. Very friendly staff. Good grape salad and cookie too. Probs needed a piece of lettuce for sandwich. Everything great except the bread overpowers the salad. Add more salad or get smaller bread. Overall really cute and good for lunch. Will be ordering for the girls at the office. read more

Wow wow wow! This spot was so delicious!!! In town from New York City and looking for some of that southern food and we sure found it. I love chicken salad but the way they did it here as so good, almost went for seconds and missed my afternoon meeting. Nice comfort food. The jalapeño chicken salad on whole wheat toasted bread - didn't want it to end. The loaded potato soup with the crackers was a nice warm appetizer. And the cookie was a nice desert at the end. Oh and Ms. Betty's warmth and kindness to a group of out of towners made it delightful to send our lunch time eating there. The only negative thing - can't get this food and service in New York. Thank you all. read more

Really? Have me pay, sit down and wait almost twenty minutes for you to tell me you're out of chicken / material to make my basic order? Only after finding. Chicken Salad Chick - Southern Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

I love Chicken Salad Chick! 12 different flavors of chicken salad all in one place. Who would have thought this concept would work so well? It's a southern basic white girl's dream. I appreciate that they will let you try the different chicken salads before you commit to a whole scoop or two. Just ask them for a sample, all of them taste great! They're light, not too heavy; perfect for lunch. "The Chick" comes with a sandwich or scoop, a side (or second scoop), a cookie, and a pickle spear. It's a perfect lunch. All of the ingredients taste light and fresh - from the main dish to the tomato on the sandwich - great quality. It's enough food that you'll feel full but not like you over-ate. Other notable items on the menu are various soups, pimento cheese (sooo good), broccoli salad, pasta salad, grape salad, and deli meat sandwiches (for non-chicken salad lovers), and more. The service at this location (and pretty much every location I've been to) is great. read more

I'm shocked this place gets anything less than 5-star reviews. It is my go-to lunch place and has been forever. Staff learns or knows my name and order and they are always incredibly polite and professional. Food is consistently delicious. Just bring back the Sea Salt Chips! Seriously, you can't go wrong here. read more

This is a nice concept, a spot for for a quick bite. Easy, fast, pretty healthy and different choices. You know when you are hungry but you don't want to overeat and you don't really crave anything in particular? This is a good alternative to just a regular salad bar or to fatty burger from a random fast food place. Tried the Broccoli Salad, the Classic Carol Salad and the Cranberry Kelli. All simple flavors but overall good. I am not ready to give 4 or 5 starts because the flavors were fine, average, so nothing really new or knocking me off of my feet. Will try more. read more

I've waited a while before I decided to post this review and it's more about the service (catering specifically) than about the food. They screwed up everything they possibly could have, the delivery date, items missing from the order (utensils/ bowls for soup/food items), no set up at delivery - it was just a mess. The food was good but just too much of a hassle to deal with them for catering when there are many other businesses in Alpharetta that get it right. There was no follow-up from management and no apologies, but they did offer a discount for the order. It's unfortunate because the chicken salad is good but I will not be ordering or patronizing this location again. read more

Chicken Salad Chick - Satisfaction level - Southern Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

Their lunch price of $7.99 for a sandwich and side (choices of more chicken salad or a real side are available) isn't too bad. I enjoy ordering the croissant sandwich with another scoop for later. Psst... The mac n cheese as the side choice isnt good. The croissant is a full sized sandwich loaded with a good amt of chicken salad. The meal typically includes a pickle and cookie. This place isn't out of this earth or superbly amazing, it's just different. They have 12 unique chicken salad flavors so you def have choices depending on your mood and taste bud. This place gets packed if you're coming during the lunch rush hour. My advice is order beforehand and just come pick up or go before or after the lunch crowd. I came around 1 PM ish once, and the place was still pretty full. read more

I had been wanting to try this place for a couple of years since a co-worker highly recommended it to me. Unfortunately, I do not live in the South, so had to wait until I was visiting family down here. You know how when you hype up a place in your mind for a long time and finally get to try it, it is never is as good as you imagined it? Well, that was NOT the case with Chicken Salad Chick. It was even better than I had hoped. I got the Classic Carol with a side of broccoli salad. This was the best chicken salad I have ever had in my life. The croissant my sandwich came on was fresh and buttery. The ingredients for everything were so fresh and delicious! In conclusion, please Chicken Salad Chick, please come to Cincinnati! You would get tons of customers! read more

The chicken salad is actually pretty flavorless especially for a place that focuses on that dish. Thy asked if I wanted my bread toasted. It's been toasted but was cold to the touch when I got my sandwich. Are they really pre toasting bread hours before hand? It's rubbery and kinda gross. The Mac and cheese is decent but I can't help but think "Wow I paid $12 for this?" Trying out restaurants in the Alpharetta area because I just started working up here. I guess this won't be on my list to go back. Edit: A few hours later and I feel sick. I'm starting to think the bread wasn't the only thing wrong with that sandwich. read more

One of the reasons I have always loved Chicken Salad Chick is because until today I have never received a serving of their chicken salad that contained any gristle. Today was definitely not my lucky day. At lunch today I ordered a sandwich and 2 scoops from the Alpharetta location, planning to have half for lunch and take the remaining half home for a quick, easy dinner. I found a large gristle in one of the scoops while eating lunch. I thought "well, everyone can have an off day". But, when I ate the remainder for dinner, I found 2 more large pieces of gristle in the same scoop. I know this may not be an issue for some customers but it definitely is for me. Getting a piece of gristle in my mouth while eating any meat is disgusting. I will not eat there again. read more

My wife and I really enjoy eating here. It's next door to a wonderful cake spot (Piece of Cake) and parking has not been an issue for us*. I want to address something that stood out to me. The service has been consistently solid for us. No issues with that and it's frankly uncommon given that most of the staff appears to be younger than the legal drinking age. Kudos to them for their professionalism. The offerings live up to the store's name: chicken salad. From buffalo flavored to fruity and nutty, Chicken Salad Chick presents quite a few choices for the palate. I've tried about three different options and I've enjoyed each one. I've noticed egg salad on the menu as well, so that's another option that I'm certainly going to check out next weekend. I recommend trying Chicken Salad as I don't know of another place that has options quite like this; the food is good; the service is great; and according to my wife, the inside is so cute. The only issue I had was minimal and actually self-induced: I don't eat bacon** and unfortunately, some of the flavors that have intrigued me have bacon in them. There are desserts but I haven't had any of them just yet. Each meal has included a small, soft cookie with a smooth icing on top. *we've only visited in Saturday's and Sunday's. **I eat pork but I just can't do bacon. It's the texture and the taste. Ugh! read more

On my dad's way home from work, he decided to pop in and get a snack for the family. 1 scoop and a side for all 3 of us. My parents each wanted the grape salad as their side, I wanted broccoli salad. This is a very cute little restaurant. They offer scoops of chicken salad with multiple flavors. I ordered The two scoops and soup special, with their spiciest chicken salad flavor-Unfortunately I didn't think it was that spicy, but it was very flavorful. It was enough food that I was able to take some of my chicken salad home with me . My guest ordered the one scoop with salad. It was plenty of food, but the salad had pieces of spinach that were large enough they needed to be cut up. The one thing I think they could do better is to provide their food on glass dishes with metal flatware. It was a little difficult to eat everything with the plasticware that was provided. I will probably come back here to eat again. read more
