First off this place is in the Marriott which is a very nice hotel. But I like to point that out because I hate when I don't know things like that. Let's start with the drinks, they were great. From old fashions, manhattans, and everything in between. Zach (ZB) and the bar staff do a great job. Now for the food, it ok. The tuna tartar was a little bit of tuna with a lot of chopped olives. So if you don't like olives steer clear. The burgers were ok but I like mine medium to medium rare and they were well done. The fries were awesome as well as the lemon pepper wings. I'd give this place a shot to try other menu items because they have more than burgers, especially if you're staying in the hotel. read more

A great ambiance for having a drink or dinner. The bar tender took wonderful car of us. Our drinks were delicious. Our food was also scrumptious. The appetizers came out so quick and they were quickly devoured. We had Brussel sprouts and the tuna. I had the burger and it was wonderful. My fries were also hot and fresh. I hope we get to stay here on business again, I would gladly dine here again. Great for small groups, a date, or just an escape for yourself. read more

The 6 of us, 4 adults and two children, went for their Mother's Day Sunday brunch. First the good news; the service was excellent!! The hostess and waitresses were timely in their removal of plates, etc. Two of us had Bloody Mary's and one mimosa. The Bloody Mary's tasted more like V8 juice rather than a cocktail. The mimosa was predominantly orange juice. The food was mediocre. The four adults started with the she crab soup that was lukewarm. We informed the waitress and noticed that they were able to heat it up later in our meal. The Old Bay style shrimp were over done, tough and tasteless. The prime rib was ok, but very fatty. The scrambled eggs were watered down and lacked any flavor. The temperature of most of the so called hot items was not appetizing especially when put on cold plates. At $75 per adult we would have had better food quality at Golden Corral. We walked out having paid nearly $500 for a lackluster experience and said we would not give them a second chance. read more

Ate a great dinner here yesterday. Shelly and the other staff were very professional and fun to be around. My mom and I loved the brussel sprouts (great portion) and the burrata salad, as well as the shrimp and grits were very delicious too. We stayed at the hotel and felt a great lively atmosphere right at 6:30pm with sports games going on. But it was also nice to see some locals dining in the restaurant. Mediocre. Tourist Trap. Tons of yucky flies. They are not compliant with health safety on flies. The main floor had a huge spill and dirty tables. The upstairs porch was fly central and something was swatting flies with a fly swatter around people eating. Fish tacos weren't bad but very fishy like it had been left out prior to grilling. Mussels were different but ok needed spice. The shrimp boil was lacking on seasoning, few shrimp and had frozen corn. The highlight was fish and chips with broccoli slaw. The only issue is the temperature of hot tarter sauce. Hot Mayo yuk. The strawberry Tini was a watered down white wine spritzer with very little hint of fruit Broccoli slaw was really good Won't be back. read more

4 stars because service was very slow. Went during Alpharetta restaurant week during lunch but it was very busy all at so I cannot understand why the service was slow. Other than slow service, the food was great! Very tasty and pretty large portions! Staff was also friendly. read more

The food was just not good at all. Service was just ok. I had high hopes because the hotel was nice.

This is a very nice bar and has an upscale feel. The drinks were priced well and the bartenders are very friendly. I feel like they missed the boat not placing the bar near the front or off to the side. It's odd in my opinion to walk into a hotel lobby and where one would see guest services is the bar. As well, it is a hotel bar as such the clientele is predominantly all hotel guests. Good drinks, friendly service and good food all at a reasonably upscale feel and at a decent price. read more

This is by far the best new restaurant to open on Windward Parkway this year, located at 5750 WP. With 400 backed up, we decided to go straight from our office over to 19 North. Although it just opened a few weeks ago, word has already gone out about the great food and drinks here. The menu features food from local farms and the kitchen team are creating great dishes. We tried the 19 North, one of the best burgers I have ever had, be sure to have it with the bacon, straight from Noble Farms. The Shrimp and Grits, Pork Chop and Fish Taco were enjoyed by the group. All the draught beers are from local breweries OTP, Jekyll from around the corner was on tap too. They have an all day menu starting at 11am, we will definitely be going back for lunch some time soon. There is a private room just off the restaurant, looks like this can be rented out for meetings and private events. read more

Got in to town after traveling all day, and had been up since 3:00 a.m. to fly out from California. After a brutal drive in rush hour traffic from the airport, and nothing to eat other than those mini pretzels on our last flight...we were hangry!! The server had called off work, so the bartenders were taking food orders. Jenny was great, she gave us awesome suggestions on the dinner selections! We had the blackened red fish tacos and the burger...all delicious (the fish was spectacular!) and of course, I had to inquire on the dessert menu. Once again, went with Jenny's suggestion with the caramel cheesecake...YUM!! We had decided to try the restaurant in the hotel, because we just didn't want to be in the car any longer...happy we decided to stay! Totally recommend!! read more

Food was amazing and service was exceptional! The kids mac n cheese was superb. The waiter anticipated every need, from placing the kids' orders first, while hubby and I decided, to bringing chocolate milks for them at the end of the meal. Reasonable prices as well. read more

Newly remodeled Marriott lounge is a great spot for a quick happy hour after work. Conveniently located and nice staff. It's a win!

After a long day of driving we decided to grab a bite at the bar - and we were so pleasantly surprised !! Hotel restaurants are often mediocre but 19 North serves delicious, creative cuisine that hits ALL the right notes! We had the fried green tomatoes which are plated like a salad with pickled peaches and creamy goat cheese. Possibly the best we've ever had! The redfish tacos and Scottish Salmon were perfection! I would recommend this restaurant even to folks not staying in the hotel! read more

Great Décor... Horrendous Customer Service This morning my wife and I decided to go to 19 North Restaurant inside the Marriott Hotel for breakfast. We have come to this Marriott to stay overnight and just to eat breakfast periodically for about 12+ years. They recently remodeled and it looks very nice. Open floor plan, nice color gray, new flooring and the restaurant looks like a new and more upscale establishment. The restaurant has a new look, but the waitstaff, unfortunately, have the same sad pathetic customer service. We arrived today at 9:30 a.m. You just go in stand there and wonder what is the process since no one meets you anymore to seat you? My wife and I get our plates, and then I tell the younger cook I would like french toast and two pancakes for my wife and I. There were two cooks. One for french toast and pancakes and the other one in the front cooked eggs and waffles. No one else is being attended to at this point. Then I proceed to tell the older cook in a voice loud enough to get his attention, that I would like two waffles. Still no one else is in line to be served. The older cook ignores me, doesn't look my way and keeps making an omelet. I continue saying "Excuse me sir; I would like two waffles made." He never acknowledged my presence, totally ignored me and never turned around to look at me. I kid you not, this continues for at least 10-minutes. Finally, the younger cook comes out and the older cook, without looking my way, says make him two waffles. The younger cook leaves his station and makes two waffles. Then the older cook, that still has continued to ignore me, gives me a plate with only one waffle. I then tell him I asked for two. Smh While waiting for my waffle, the older cook says something like, "Omelet up," the customer comes up to get his omelet, and I kid you not, the older cook actually yells at the customer that he wasn't done, because the other omelet was almost done. The customer looked startled and sat back down. Meanwhile, my wife had already sat down to eat. After about 10-minutes not one waitstaff person has come to see if she wants water, orange juice or how many is in our party. My wife gets up from her semi-hot food and ask a lady cleaning off tables if someone can please bring us water and orange juice. A nice lady in a red shirt did. I asked for a pitcher of water, because from past experience we knew we would never see another waitstaff person until they brought the bill. I was right. Not once did any waitstaff come back to check up on us to see if we wanted more orange juice, since the glasses they now put it in is as big as a thimble. We've always loved staying at the Windward Marriott for a "staycation," since we live just 35 minutes away. However, what has stopped us from staying there is the horrible customer service in the restaurant. We love the breakfast buffet. The food is good, and the variety is great. Over the years we have continued trying to give this restaurant an opportunity to improve customer service. However, my wife was so upset after today's treatment, we have vowed not to go back. Unfortunately, we have seven Marriott gift cards and we're trying to decide if we give them away or what. After today, we see it appears to be a lost cause. This restaurant's customer service is not congruent with the quality service of the Marriott brand. #Sad read more

Wonderful spot for those staying in the hotel or in the local area. I had the salmon dish and the fish was cooked fantastically. Moist and juicy on the inside, pleasantly crisp on the outside. A coworker had the pork dish, which was sourced locally and said it was delicious. The dishes I witnessed around me all looked great including a French dip sandwich. Dessert was delectable. I had the fried banana split. Super fun to eat with the heat and crispness of the fried banana contrasted with the cold Neapolitan ice cream. An Individual scoop of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry lay on the bottom of the dish with fried banana pieces on top and a fresh strawberry. Eat it in a timely manner though cause the ice cream will melt and the batter may soften. Cucumber martini cocktail was refreshing and bold at the same time. Cocktails were of good quality but pricey so watch your wallet on that one. Drinks can rack up your bill super quick so take note if you are sticking to a budget. Service staff was friendly. TVs at the bar had the football game on which provided great entertainment while enjoying food and drinks. Outlet plugs available at bar if you need to charge a device. Will definitely come back! Overall a great experience. read more
