Smoked wings, no sauce with large pin feather circled in red
    Janice T.

Maybe I was not in a good mood when I stopped at Long timber for a small lunch. The staff were very nice and accommodated my order. I ordered their smoked wings, naked without any sauce and asked for blue cheese dressing to dip my naked wings in. The server brought me 5 wings but for the price of $13 they couldn't even put a little garnish on the plate like maybe a of couple of carrot sticks and a couple of celery sticks. I'm sure I've eaten 1 million pinfeathers in my lifetime while ordering wings but second wing in there was a giant pin feather on the wing. At that point I lost my appetite. The smoked wings were very tough and chewy. I don't know if that's because they were pre-frozen or possibly frozen after they were smoked and thawed. I just did not feel that the wings were fresh.. Next time I'm in Monroe, I will try another menu item as the wings are a hard pass for me.

Great and Friendly atmosphere. This place was actually full of people when we went on a Friday night. We made reservations ahead of time for a party of 8. They have a full bar and they brew their beer in house. Didn't have any of the beer cause I'm not a beer person but my husband seemed to like it. They have huge portions so it's worth the money. I got the 12oz flat iron steak (medium rare) tho it was slightly on the rarer side than I would've liked it was fine. The meat was good quality and juicy, the seasonal veggies were asparagus and squash seasoned nicely and not overcooked. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the gravy was light and not too heavy, I thought it could use a teensy more flavor. For the apps, I had the pretzel bites with beer cheese and fresh mustard. The pretzels had a nice crust and were fluffy inside. The cheese was flavorful and thick. I had some of the fries and they also have the same nice crust and fluffy potato inside. I had a craving for a root beer float so I ordered one for dessert. I didn't know they made the root beer in house too. It came with a couple scoops of ice cream. Kinda wish it came with chocolate syrup but it's good nonetheless. I heard they change up their menu every once in a while. Would definitely come back here since we have a lot of family in town.

Tried the wings and they were good, the atmosphere was nice and it felt like I was in a cabin!

Road trip via Hwy 99. Found this gem in Monroe. Only did dessert for this trip but will be back to try more. Very cool building that is family friendly and is a great spot to meet friends or watch the game. Staff was awesome with fast and attentive service.

Great place to stop In for a cold delicious beer and the atmosphere is very inviting . Great staff very friendly and fast. The food is worth the price the Cesar wrap I got made 3 meals and my hubby has been craving the cheese burger . The fries are crispy and they have great ranch . We will be back

Long Timber is a favorite family gathering spot because of the atmosphere, food, drinks and service. In the winter, we call ahead to request a table in the wine bar near the fire. The salads change, but my current fav is the southwest steak salad. It's just the right spicy & satisfying and GF. Be sure to ask about their specials, and don't be surprised if you need a box because the portions are generous. My crew love the giant cookie desserts a la mode, but we tried the crème brûlée and it was equally wonderful.

Fine selection of good beer and food. And the timber framing architecture is stunning along with great decor of vintage logging equipment.

The service that we received recently was spectacular. The fact that my warm halibut was served on cold couscous was not so great.

The Porch Light Pale Ale "taste great" and it is a go to as a starter and a finisher. The Mexican-Style Vienna Lager & the two juicy IPA's (Gushy & Juicy) are very good as well, even though I am not much of a hazy/juicy fan. For you sour fans the Lovers Sour will love you long time! ;) And they have a heavy hitter the 9%er, Exit 333 DIPA! The River Otter Red, nice, tasty malty red beer, with low IBU and 5% alc, along with the other beers on tap as well as their stouts (these change throughout the year as well) with some in cans and crowler availability. Food is good with appetizers, wings, nachos, burgers, pizza, sandwiches, (during lunch time), mac and cheese, crispy chicken sandwich, quesadillas, etc. Two sides of the seating for the brewery, both can seat families, many show up, outdoor seating as well and, they serve cocktails. Good place, good ownership & staff, nice atmosphere and good beer. Prost!

I ordered a burger, and it was quite good, with crispy fries on the side. There were a couple of small issues: one person in our group waited a long time for their pizza and only received it when the rest of us were almost finished eating. We also didn't have enough napkins and asked for more twice but never received them. Still, these were minor things. The atmosphere was relaxed, with cozy lighting that made it feel comfortable. Overall, not a bad experience, and I would come back again.

I ordered the vegan pizza and salad, and both were seriously good -- fresh, flavorful, and actually satisfying. As a vegan, sometimes ordering out feels like negotiating with a menu, but Beachcrest delivered real options that didn't feel like an afterthought. The service was also super fast and genuinely friendly. Everyone was welcoming, the food came out quickly, and the whole place had an easygoing, good-energy vibe. The restaurant itself was really clean too, which always makes a difference. Honestly, if a place can make me excited about both salad and pizza while also getting me fed quickly and kindly, I'm probably becoming a regular.

We kind of ate around the center and avoided the wet parts . A lovely young woman walked by and asked how things were and I said the pizza is very wet ?
