I haven't had my nails done in almost 4 years. I actually recommend this place to a friend and she came with me to get a fill in. I called and was told that dip powder was 35 for a full set. Not only was a charged 45 and left a 6 dollar tip. My nails aren't even the same length or shape. There are bubbles all over them and the color doesn't cover my whole nail. I haven't had nails done in 7 years due to my job. Today was my last day so I went to get my nails done with my mom. Spent $35 for disrespect, absolutely NO customer service, cutting my cuticle, uneven length nails and the worst paint job I've ever seen. Never ever again! This salon was terrible! I have a salon I always go to but came to this one with a friend. Both of us got full set with dip powder, and they did not know what they were doing! The lady started to do an acrylic layer first, and I asked her not to, and she proceeded to question and almost force me to do that layer until she finally agreed not to! I've been getting dip powder on my nails for 2 years so I know each step and process, and this salon skipped half of the steps! TERRIBLE! Our nails are uneven color, bubbly, and the length and shapes aren't all the same! It was $45 for maybe $1 worth of work. I'm pissed I spent more money than I do at my normal salon, for an extremely sub par job! Never again! I would recommend going elsewhere! If I could give it zero stars, I would! Even after I spent $50 ($5 for my 4 year olds nails to be painted), I still tipped $10 to my nail tech. Don't make the same mistake as me and go somewhere else! read more

This was my first time here. I did not have to wait for a pedicure and was seen right away. I wasn't asked what type of pedicure I wanted so maybe they just have one kind. The nail tech never spoke to me. She spent her whole time talking to her coworkers (in their own language). There wasn't much time spent on my toes. My toe nails are short so I didn't need them cut down. But she barely ran the file over them. She spent a lot of time scrubbing my feet and heels which I appreciated because they looked terrible. But there was no attention to my legs. I'm used to having some exfoliating scrub and lotion at least. She did apply lotion but had already painted my toes so she didn't do my feet at all. I wasn't taken to a dryer. I was left in the chair. When I thought my toes were dry I got up. I think this place is average to less than average. It's not very clean and I didn't she them open the tools so I'm not sure how they are cleaned. I will probably go back across the street to My Bella Spa. It's much cleaner and they actually speak to their customers. read more

If I could give half a star I would. This place was filthy disgusting. The lady that did my nails did not listen to a word I said. I'm not even that hard to please if my cuticles are nice and cut all of it I'm good nothing else really matters to me. I told her a few times to go over a couple a places but she would just pretende like who does that. I just moved to Charlotte and trying to find a good salon I guess it wasn't this time. Before I get to the mediocre service ... I do want to mention they aren't quite following Covid safe behaviors... they have the supplies(thermometer, sanitizer, Clorox wipes etc.) However, walking in I was never asked to have my temp checked or clean my hands w/sanitizer like I've seen at other salons that I've been to. Also there were customers as well as employees with their whole mask resting under their nose.. I am not the mask police ‍ nor do I care about what an individual chooses not to do/do regarding their health but, in a highly trafficked salon it would be nice to at least see staff following COVID safe recommendations. Now... the service.... I can honestly can say this was the worst manicure I've ever had in my life. Save your money go across the street to CVS, purchase some Jergens body lotion and some icy hot packs and grab two Ziploc bags.... this will be considered royalty compared to what I received as a "manicure" at this salon. All the lady literally did was partially rub my hand with two types of lotion and put them in the warming things for 2 min and then told me to wash my hands. I moved to Charlotte in 2013 and it's one of the first places my sister took me. I haven't been to any other salon since. Hey - it's not super fancy - but you can't beat the price. $30 for mani/pedi - and the polish lasts. A bit basic - not fancy - but there is a spa chair with a massager. This nail spa is fantastic. The manicurists remember who you are and what you do. They are very reasonably priced. The only negative is that they are somewhat slow. That being said, I went right when they opened one day and had very quick service. I think it depends on when you go and if it is on a Saturday.
