My Elderly dad decided to drive to Yucaipa from Palm Springs,ca for lunch. He and I love Long Johns Silver when we visit Fort Smith, ARK. He and my step mom had the shrimp and fish and I stuck with the two piece fish and we all had the coleslaw for the side. He and my mom spent that night sick and the next day. I didn't get sick and that was our only meal that day so I believe something went horribly wrong with the shrimp. Sadly they don't have the lobster bites that are advertised on the official LJS website, but since this is a shared location and they're dying off in California, I can't say that I'm too surprised. Our cashier, Shannon, was very helpful. Order was accurate and that experience was pleasant. The KFC food was very good. However, the Long John Silver chicken was fried in old, rancid oil. Returned again this morning. Close to my home no. Did I drive 20 miles only for this yes. I do every couple months and have for years. I was the first customer this morning, and the nice man let me in tight away. Ordered my normal, shrimp, fries fish etc. But added clams this time and fried pickles. Well what I'm going to say is not good and I love Long John Silver especially my son he loves there chicken. I ordered a family meal with 10 pieces of chicken and 2 fish. Once I received my food when the gentleman walked it outside he repeated my order. We drove home with our meal to Riverside and got home and they were all fish no chicken. I was so upset because there was no chicken in our meal and my son was upset. Me and my other kids ate some fish and we all ended up feeling sick after an hour. We felt nauseated tummy ache and felt like food poisoning. We felt like that all night I work up throwing up around 3 am due to the stomach pain. I call them yesterday and today and there phone has been busy for 48 plus hours. I want a full refund that was horrible customer service and the sickness of eating that fish was terrifying. I have never been that sick. So if you ordered food on 12-6-25 and got sick please leave a review. Sorry but this was just bad service. read more

A employee brought my meal out to me, got home and it was nothing I had ordered. In fact, it was 2 pieces of chicken, not fish. But, in the end this Long John Silver's proved to be a nice, fishy change of pace. I had the 3 Piece Fish & More, with three good, moist and slightly greasy battered and deep fried fish fillets (2 would probably have been adequate), plus Add-A-Piece Clam Strips, which were very tasty with deep-fried fish crumbles. This particular Long John's doubles as a KFC, so to go with two hush puppies I chose KFC Mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Coleslaw as my included sides. The Coleslaw is slightly creamy and IMHO one of the best to be found at any eatery. Diane enjoyed plump Deep Fried Shrimp and slightly crinkled Potato Wedges. I was very excited to see a LJS as I passed by. You don't see them anymore and there's a reason why. I ordered at 330 on Saturday. Not busy at all. I ordered the variety platter of 3 fish and 2 chicken for $12.49. The manager who took my order said it'll be 7 minutes because they cook to order. I knew I should've checked the box before leaving. All I got was 3 very old, not cooked to order chicken planks. See my pics for reference. I live an hour away so it was not feasible to just go back and show them the garbage they sold me. I like the fish-here but they could improve it and make it GREAT by removing some of the salt, its very salty also very greasy . A recipe tweak and keeping the oil at the right temp and not overcrowding the fryer would help fix the problems . read more

Always love this Long John Silver's! Easy to find, ample parking. They offer inside seating, to go and drive thru. Always clean inside and restrooms are kept up. Location offers LJS and KFC. The LJS is made fresh, to order. Staff is always friendly. Prices are still fair and portion sizes are perfect. Love the family deal options as well, however expect them to to pull you for about 10/15 mins to cook it. No problem for me, that just means Hot &. Fresh!
