4/10/26.. Having dinner with my family. And I order Italian herb chicken with baked potato. I ate quarter to almost half of it and seen my chicken was very pink wasn't cooked all the way it was raw. I felt Disgusted and terrible that I ate raw chicken. People don't eat their food terrible.

If you grew up on Sizzler, then you'll love this location. It's true to its origin. I like going here for lunch and doing the salad bar and 6 ounce steak typically a salad bar is really good and fully stocked and the steak is the original sizzler steakhouse steak Not a bad deal for a good lunch.

I always catch grief when I say I love Sizzler as if it's some low class establishment, But I always have the best experience when I visit the Waterman location in San Bernardino, first off the restaurant is CLEAN the salad bar is very clean and always well stocked and turned over. The Guest service is exceptional and super friendly we always get the same servers and she is amazing I wish I remembered her name she and all of the bus staff and servers are great. I always order the Steak and all you can eat shrimp with a one trip salad bar. The steak is always cooked perfect the shrimps are plentiful. My only gripe is that I wish they still brought a basket of cheese toast instead of the single toast with the meal but that's just me being a fatty lol. Great job as always Waterman Sizzler in San Bernardino I'll be back in a couple weeks!!! Oh and PS the new potato salad on the salad bar is really good and I'm gonna need to know where I can get a gallon of that cocktail sauce HAHAHA!!!

I have fond childhood memories of Sizzler, because that's where my folks would take me when we "ate out". However, as I got older, I got disenchanted and stopped going for over a decade. My wife and I went on a whim and we are glad we did. The crew at this sizzle was outstanding. Even though we arrived a little past eight, on the last hour of the restaurant being open, the folks working there were still super welcoming and accommodating. The dining room while dated, was clean and well put together. They worked diligently in ensuring the restaurant was being cleaned, the salad bar stocked, and managed to do all this while still being attentive to the needs of the diners. What I was most impressed by, was when I ordered my steak medium-rare, they nailed it spot on seasoned fabulously. This was better than some "fine-dining" restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised.

Saw this on way through Redlands. Had not eaten here since I was much younger. About 20 years ago. I loved this place growing up as a kid. I got the sirloin with all you can eat shrimp and backed potato. It also came with their famous cheese toast. I will say some of the rating is due to nostalgia. It was just as I remembered. The steak was not a great cut and was overcooked but not bad. It was juicy. The shrimp was good and I liked that since it's all you can eat they load the plate up to start off. I might go back but quality was so so and was a little expensive for what it wad. However if you are like me it was worth the nostalgia.

The vaunted Salad Bar! *dramatic music*

I have to echo some of Kenny M's sentiments when it comes to Sizzlers. I have fond memories of them in general. When I was a kid from the early to mid 80s onward, Sizzler was the where the family would take us when we wanted to "go out to dinner" and they didn't want to break the bank. For a long time, I thought that Sizzler was the definition of a steakhouse. Of course, having grown up since then (and having become the foodie I now am), I've learned my lesson; and yes, a bit of the shine and polish has worn off the chain in general. But let's face it, for a long time, Sizzler was the steakhouse for the masses. This particular location is one of few left in the area, especially since the one in Redlands closed and became a Dennys recently. The chain has contracted quite a bit in recent years. This one is located on Waterman Ave near Hospitality Lane surrounded on many sides by hotels. I wouldn't doubt if said hotels provide many of their customers. Dominating the center of the dining area is, of course, the salad bar. Sizzler has become famous for these; and the San Bernardino one does not disappoint. Every time I've visited this location, their food at the salad bar was fresh and plentiful with lots of selections. They even have a "side bar" that has fried chicken wings (these are yummy!!) a mini taco/nacho bar, spaghetti with sauce and meatballs, and the last time we went (earlier tonight)..orange chicken (this was really yummy too actually). We've ordered other entrees from here in the past and were please with the quality. Yelpers note - I'm still addicted to their Malibu Chicken! One pleasant thing about this location is that the manager is always a friendly and helpful; and the waitresses are always smiling, pleasant and give excellent service. That's always encouraging to see at a, shall we say...non higher-end establishment. To be honest, the food is delicious but nothing super special. We've never had anything bad here. The food itself gets a solid 3 stars; but the pleasant and cheerful attitude of the employees here..on a consistent basis...earns this location a 4th star easily. Certainly with a visit!

I was offered a choice of fried or pan-fried. I assumed that fried meant deep fried, so I picked that. The dumplings I was served were pan-fried. The filling was an under-seasoned ground chicken with a bit of a pasty texture. The slaw served with the potstickers was tasty, but the dipping sauce was incredibly salty. I would not order this dish again. I also ordered a personal BJ's Favorite pizza, and that was really good! The only real downside of this location is that the people at the hostess station are kind of unwelcoming. There is often a group of people at the station who are more interested in chatting with each other than greeting a customer. The main hostess during the day acts like you're annoying her with your request for a table, even though the restaurant isn't that busy. The waitstaff seems to get overwhelmed when it does get busy, so you often have to flag someone down if you need something. Despite the staff problems, I still like BJ's and will return.

Unfortunately as we saw the party at the table next to us had ordered the Prime Rib, it was nothing as was advertised. A very thin, dried out looking slice of beef, barely an ice cream scoop sized dollop of mashed potatoes, and a sprinkle of green beans. The party had to twice ask the server for Aus Jus and horseradish sauce. Seeing this disappointed us and we decided to forego the Christmas special and instead order from the menu. We started with an appetizer of Crispy Shrimp which was ok but not so crispy as they had been drenched in some sort of sweet sauce and served over dry rice noodles; very unusual. We then ordered a Caesar salad to split, it was ok but lackef dressing and the bit of dressing that was there was definitely not Caesar salad dressing. We ordered a Supreme Pizza which was also very disappointing. It was thin crust which we expected but it was do drenched in a heavy tomato sauce that it was difficult to even taste the toppings. We also ordered the Steak Frittes dinner, while the fries were very crispy and fresh, the steak left a lot to be desired. The meat was not sliced properly so it was very tough and overcooked, very rubbery and the Chimichurri sauce was very, very salty. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was actually pretty good with fresh berries added. Our drink orders were ok but were simple, just beer and wine. The dining space itself was very open, sterile, and industrial feeling. It was not very welcoming for a Christmas dinner. The dining experience could have been a bit nicer if maybe some tablecloths were at each table, the hotel already has linen service so why not tablecloths to class the place up a bit? We realize it was a holiday and things may be operating on a skeleton crew but if advertising a special dinner for the holiday it would be prudent to deliver on what is advertised. We failed to get her name but our server was very sweet and attentive. The food was subpar but our server was doing her best. It wasn't her fault the poor quality of the meal. We observed other diners around us that also did not have favorable opinions of their food. The advertised prime rib Christmas dinner was very disappointing.

We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday since it's where she wanted to go, but it quickly turned into a regret. Most of the food stations were not being replenished, and what was available looked like it had been sitting out for far too long. There was spilled food everywhere, making the whole area feel unclean and neglected. To make matters worse, the advertised feature of the week/month wasn't even available. The staff behind the counter seemed more interested in chatting with each other than paying attention to customers or maintaining the food area. When I used the restroom, the floor was so sticky that my feet literally stuck to it--completely unacceptable. We couldn't even bring ourselves to eat and ended up requesting a refund. The only positive part of this experience was the manager on duty, Anthony. He was professional, understanding, and genuinely tried to make things right. Unfortunately, he was only able to refund the meals paid by card. Those who paid cash were told we'd have to return the next day due to not having access to the register. We'll be going back to try and get the rest of our refund, and I'll update this review afterward. Needless to say, we left and went to Olive Garden instead, where the food and overall experience were a complete turnaround.

We had an 11:15 reservation and were not seated until 12:40. Throughout the wait, we were repeatedly told there were no tables available. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of communication from management. No one explained that brunch service would be ending, and we actually had to get up and ask ourselves whether brunch was still available. That was when we were finally told they had stopped serving it. At that point, it honestly made us question what the purpose of having a reservation was in the first place. A delay of over an hour on one of the busiest brunch holidays of the year should have either been communicated transparently or accommodated appropriately by honoring brunch for delayed reservation parties. The response from management was also disappointing. Rather than taking accountability or offering any real solution, the manager blamed staffing and "corporate." If this truly comes down to corporate policies or staffing decisions, then Mimi's as a company seriously needs to reevaluate how these holidays are managed. Longtime customers should not be left waiting over an hour with no communication, only to lose access to the very menu they made reservations for. Sadly, experiences like this are probably part of why so many longtime customers feel the overall quality and organization of the company has declined over the years. We've always loved coming here and this location has been part of our Mother's Day tradition, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
