Very friendly staff. Loved the old style Long Johns building too. And they have Ale 8 on tap, so yeah . . .

By the time I left at 6:30 it was packed with a wait of ~10 people. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly. The menu seems very diverse with a lot of delicious sounding options. The beer menu is on the back with a QR code. As it was Burger Week, I went with their Signature Burger for $7 with a side of tots. The burger was a Spicy Pimento Burger with bacon jam, pickles, and lettuce. The burger was 4oz which was a great size to fill you up but not make you overly full. The burger was not overly seasoned and didn't have a ton of flavor, however the combination of toppings really enhanced the flavor and made it delicious. The tots were perfectly crisp and the Cajun seasoning really enhanced them nicely. All 4 of the beers in the flight were tasty but not overly powerful. Of the 4, the Tart and Tempered was the best as a light sour. I would recommend a visit and look forward to trying some other menu items.

I'm sure it's a favorite place for beer drinkers, because they serve many kinds of beer, but I don't drink alcohol and still enjoyed stopping in for pub grub.

The best items on the menu have been removed and they change the menu too often. This particular restaurant started out strong because previously alcohol could not be served. I think alcohol is the only thing saving this restaurant. The service is slow and it takes FOREVER to get your food. Do not order any unlimited item unless you planning on being there for the day. That being said, my mom ordered spinach dip. We went ahead and ordered soup and salad. The spinach dip was good and hot. The chips were crisp but a bit greasy . Our food FINALLY arrived. The cheese on the French onion soup was melty, but not golden or browned. The salad had decent flavor, but the chicken obviously came with grill marks. My mother's experience was the same. We didn't order a refill. Patricia (Patti) was our waitress. She has been here forever and is a local gem !! All the locals want her to serve them as she is very efficient! This restaurant is not my favorite, but they have French onion soup so my family will drag me back!

Fresh food, huge portions, strong drinks, just a very out of the ordinary place. Good music, etc. We invited friends to dinner tonight and everything was straight up bad. The pork steak used to be huge, thick and delicious. What came out tonight for our friend was half the size, 1/8 inch thick and cooked to death. Hamburgers are no longer fresh, but frozen and flavorless. Drink portions were completely off. I was served a drink in a large solo cup, no alcohol to be found. I've been telling everyone what a great spot this was for 2 years. Now I am eating my words. Don't know what has happened but it's all been bad. Wait staff is still great but the quality of the food is trash. Sad to say but so long Waterfront Grille. It was fun while it lasted.

The older woman told us a couple people didn't show up to work, so that justifies cold food? unacceptable food and service. I don't get it, my wife's hamburger and fries were horrible and COLD, why. She didn't even eat it. Amother gals chili was cold, and served without a spoon! I hear people who ordered the catfish was at least warm, not served hot! WHY????????? I did not pay my bill, they deserved nothing!!!!!!

The chicken breast itself was exceptionally large, tender, and juicy perfectly fried the Nashville sauce on it was hot, but not too hot you know what I mean and the coleslaw wasn't runny and have too much mayonnaise. It was just a really good solid cold coleslaw. The brioche bun was excellent. My wife's Cuban sandwich was amazing and my mother-in-law's hamburger was very good as well. The only thing I will say is that the service from the young man that we had was just average. It took us a lot of effort, joking around with him, asking his suggestions and recommendations to get him to even smile I would suggest that he acts like he wants to be working and not come across to his customers like we're a bother to him. If that wouldn't have been the case, this would've been a 5+ star review.

There was no parking in their parking lot, so we had to drive down the hill and try our luck with street parking, then walk back up about 5-7 minutes to get into the restaurant. A bit of a pain, especially since the restaurant was only about 50% full. The host or person at the front desk was hiding - sitting on the floor on his phone. We had to lean over the counter to ask him to get up so we could ask him to seat us. He ended up being our server as well, after he literally argued with a coworker who walked up while we were inquiring about a table. "I just took the last two damn tables, isn't it your turn?" doesn't inspire confidence that you're a welcome guest. I ordered the Kentucky Hot Brown. When in Rome, right? The menu says you can get it with Mornay sauce or Kentucky Hot Brown sauce. I asked the waiter which was better - he said the Hot Brown sauce. Sounds great! It came out with the mornay sauce. It was still good, but I was a wee bit disappointed. My companions enjoyed their meals. I picked up a reasonably priced bottle of Sazerac Rye on the way out, since they didn't have any left at the distillery when I was there earlier in the visit.

I ordered the burger without the bun or fries, and it was so overly salty that I struggled to finish it. My wife had the CACIO de PEPE, which tasted quite different from what we're used to, and the pasta was overcooked for our liking. My brother-in-law ordered the fish tacos, which were easily the standout dish at the table. My sister's chicken cesar salad was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant itself feels a bit unexpected for a rural setting, which may help explain its strong ratings. For me, though, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again--more of a "fine if someone else suggests it" kind of spot.

The atmosphere is super cozy and we felt welcomed from our first steps in. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we met Michaela who took fabulous care of us for the evening! We settled in to a couple of their specialty cocktails (midwinters night dream and cardamaro manhattans - yummy I'll say) and the Brussel Sprout starter. Let me say to come hungry because the portions are large but yummy. The sprouts are a meal all by themselves! But there's more! I had the porcini rubbed filet and Teresa had the cabbage confit. Both portions were sizable and while I know she loved her cabbage, I was in heaven with a perfectly prepared filet that just melted in my mouth. Plus the asparagus spears and the Okinawa sweet potato mash were perfect accompaniment! Sadly, there was so much goodness we ended up bringing some home and we'll have to come back for dessert and another menu sampling. All in all a very memorable experience and a great place for a birthday dinner! But we'll be back just because! Special closing shout out to Michaela for taking such great care of us.
