The floor in the side dining area is quite slippery. To the point where anti slip shoes would be beneficial for the average customer. Horrible experience at Lona John SilverS on Williams Blvd tonight Friday Nov 14th. Went thru the drive thru to pick up my order that I ordered through the app that said it would be ready at 7:05pm. Arrived at 7:05, the worker (Ava) running the drive thru said my order was not ready and I could wait outside or come inside.I stated 1 would wait at the pick up window. I sat at the windows for 20 mins, no contact from the drive thru worker but I could clearly see her sitting a at the computer, lint rolling her Outfit etc. I decided to call the store after feeling ignored at the window. The same worker answered the phone, said my order wasn't ready and didn't know when it would be ready and I can just continue to wait and hung up on me. I eventually got my food but didn't receive my: soda. Asked for it and the worker clearly didn't want to give it to me. VERY RUDE AND IGNORNAT BEHAVIOR.Horrible experience, my food is old and cold. Took a couple videos of my Horrible service. I would avoid LJS as long as this worker is an employee! read more

Their system doesn't work, so after 20mins when I asked where our order was since at least 4 people after us had gotten their orders before us I was told ours hadn't been started yet. There is not room in their booths due to trying to fit too many in a small space. One of our orders didn't even come with the hush puppies. read more

We ordered one meal tonight. We were in the drive thru with only 2 cars in front of us for over 35 minutes. When we drove away to eat , we realized they left out the drink, cole slaw, extra crispies and tartar sauce. There were 5 more cars at the drive up by then, and we didn't have time to start again. We were very upset. drove back, went inside, gave them back the food and "got a refund". They just had 1 cook. They said they did not write half our order down so "it was not their fault". They only refunded about half the price. This place has good food but the worst service and attitude. They deserve to go under. read more

OK I'm off the sauce and I've been fish taco-free for over a year now. ~Applause~ Much has changed at LJS since my last review so it's time for an update. The chain almost went out of business a couple years ago after some political health group dubbed their short-lived Big Catch "the worst meal in America." So fried fast food isn't healthy, who knew? They got much worse than they deserved from the bad publicity and several stores closed. Since then LJS has revamped their menu, offering sides such as broccoli and green beans and improved several existing items. The slaw is much better and even the hush puppies are edible, if not health food. They even put cod back on the menu, although at a premium over the mainstay pollack. I won't become a regular, my heart can't afford it, but LJS will still scratch the itch for the once-in-awhile craving for fried fish. read more

I haven't been to any Long John Silver's in about a decade or more, it just never seems to cal my name when it's time to eat. And at my age, a decade more might not be in the cards, so this may have been my last trip. To be honest, I have really developed a taste for the Cod sandwich at Culvers, and the fish sandwich here did not come close to matching up. I walked in and wanted to try the Coastal Cod sandwich, but alas, they did not have any on hand. Tomorrow I was told, but that left me feeling deprived. At the suggestion of the woman behind the counter - who was very helpful - I ordered the regular fish sandwich, with the order of fries. After about 7 minutes my order was brought to the table - which was clean - and I proceeded to dine. I had an extra helping of tartar sauce at the table, and it was not the best tartar sauce at all. Thinking that this is a seafood place, I expected a better grade of sauce. The sandwich was ok, but no match for Culvers. I enjoyed the fact that they have the option of sweetened and unsweetened Iced Tea, so that's a plus. The staff seemed very polite and happy to be working there. That's always important to me, not a fan of people going through the motions. I might be back, but don't wait for me. read more

I'll try to make this as quick as the service. The food was good for fast food, deep fried, fish items. I had 2 of the Baja Taco's. I love them and they are reasonably prices at $1 My friend had fish and coleslaw. He is a "coleslaw" gourmet and felt the coleslaw should have been chopped finer. But that's just a detail. The service was excellent, the food good, the prices, competitive. That's the trio I look for in a Fast Food Shop. Right now street repair makes getting in and out a little tricky but that's not Long John's fault. This too shall pass. Give them a try. read more

So stopped in because we were on sw side of town for once and usually long johns isn't super amazing but whoever they got cooking in there kitchen right now they better not lose because it was the best I have had from them in a long time even gave us extra crunchys and that was awesome and the gal that rung us out was very friendly and had a great smile and that was the fastest we have ever got our food so props to the crew you have right now they doing it right!!!! read more

If you are in the mood for deep fried seafood or chicken, then this the place for you. The onion rings are to die for, and the hush puppies are my personal favorite. The drive-thru is difficult to navigate, but I almost always get a decent meal. I'd personally avoid after 8pm, as it goes downhill after that. read more

The drive in is a bit strange here. You order at the bottom of a parking lot and then drive this loop up to the window and around. It wasn't the fastest service, but the window person was nice and efficient when I got there. The food was standard LJS fare (deep fried batter dipped "seafood" and chicken with fries) and was hot and seemed freshly cooked. I didn't get any of the crispy stuff that normally accompanies the meals and is shown on the photo though. I was disappointed. read more

If you want to eat some fried cardboard come here. Chicken tastes the same as the fish and is majorly proccessed. Its nothing but grease. I was able to eat 2 or so hush puppies and that was it. Just went there. The person talking to us over the microphone had amazing manors. He was so nice he even gave us a free pop! Nowa days you don't meet people as kind as him. His name was Alex. He's was the kindness person I've seen in the past 5 years. He should be famous or get a raise at minimum. read more

If I could ever make it past the rude service, i maybe able to comment on the food. I go there once every several months and there is always something. my last trip I ran into a very condescending, argumentative window person. that was it. I am done going there. read more
