Im so mad. You dont understand. This exact mc donalds SUCKS. I've had so many issues with it before idk why I even went back. Today I was learning how tf to use their bum ass app and ordered online. Btw it was 52 dollars worth of shit. And I bearly got stuff but whatever. Anyways somehow the app kicked us off of the thing and we had to get into the drive through. Whatever thats cool, I go through the drive through. This man. Was SO RUDE. he was yelling and being a complete asshole. He did that before we even opened our mouths btw. We told him our order number and he said thats not in our system. HELLOOO? I SPENT OVER 50 DOLLARS PAL I KNOW WHAT I GOT. So we are like, bro wtf and we drive off to go to the front. We call my mom and she told us to go inside. I had no shoes on btw but I just went inside anyways. I tell the people in the front that I had an order and the lady at the front said "the two frappes?" I said yeah. And she was like we had those ready give me just one second. And I was happy cause ya know. We had food ready. And the dude in the drive through is not as intelligent as me. We get home thinking we have all the food. BOY WERE WE WRONG. They didn't have our mc griddles. We called. THEY HAD THEM READY THE WHOLE TIME. WHATTTT? so they ask if we are going back to get them and I was like. Yeah? Hello? I GOT KIDS TO FEED. anyways we get back up there and the lady at the desk was so confused so I had to explain myself and tell her why I was there(agian) and we got our food. The food was ass. Genuinely. It was cold and just not appetizing. They gave us overcooked bacon and omg it was just terrible. 0 out of 10 do not recommend. read more

Would leave 0 stars if I could, the worker is horrible, doesn't listen, tried to give us something we didn't want. He also tried to put random things in with our order. The food isn't even really that great. Please hire new people who can cook and listen!!! read more

I am not happy McDonalds I got to McDonald and went through the drive through and got a happy meal hoping for one of those little crocs in my happy meal as my mom drives away I open my happy meal and I see some toy and I see that IT IS NOT MY CROC so I am her to complain that I did not get a croc like I was supposed to and I am not happy and I am supposed to be happy because it is called a happy meal this is OUTRAGEOUS how I see and as outside of you restaurant saying if I buy a happy meal that I will get a croc and I feel offended and very very VERY unhappy McDonalds you need to fix this immediately because I will not be ok until it is fixed read more

I ordered a large blue slushy and it was half full when I got it. And bathrooms were gross. Unbelievable!!!

I only gave this a one star because I couldn't give it a zero. The Ice cream machine has been broken for 7 straight days! In addition I asked why and the workers got mad at me. I will never be going to this location again. read more

I experienced the worst customer service at this McDonald's in Cedar Rapids. I placed an order, but when I arrived, it wasn't ready. I waited patiently, but when it was taking too long, I asked about my order. The staff told me they couldn't give me my food because I didn't have a digital receipt. I even showed them my bank transaction and the order number, but they still refused to help. Now, my money is gone, and I didn't get my food either. This is by far the worst McDonald's experience I've had. I almost forgot to mention that this wasn't just a regular worker--it was a manager. If this is how the manager is acting, how are the workers behaving? This place seriously needs to get its act together. read more

My experience isn't any different from the other reviews on this page. Twice in a row, I've ordered large fries and gotten half a box of cold ones. Basically, they're giving you a medium order for the premium of the large price. Horrible location. read more

Worst customer service and attitude in Food service! Quality control absolutely sucks! Teens that cannot stay off their phones! Management does nothing to improve the quality! Worth the extra drive to somewhere else! read more

Went there today and I just don't understand how hard it is to know what is a large and is a small, do not recommend this place at all

The food is decent, last time I was here the worker was racist, because the costumer's got a free slushy with a big family when me and my family had 4 people and the others had 7. My dad went to go get sauce and there was 3 workers looking at him and did not assist him. All of the tables were dirty. The soda area was NOT clean at all. There was so much water/soda on the floor and that area was just so dirty. Every table we went to go sit at it has food all over. My brothers sandwich had a half of a pickle on it and my dad's sandwich had 4 pieces of lettuce on it. I will not eat in here again. read more

McDonald's - a view of the dining area - Burgers Near Me - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Long wait. Poor service. No effort to make things right. Has gone downhill quickly!!

I hate going to this McDonalds. In fact, I hate it so much I've driven to the one on 33rd Ave (I can The the Williams Blvd location from the end of my driveway ). Never have I been here and received my order correctly. Not once. Breakfast, lunch, dinner doesn't matter.... wrong every time. The last time I stepped foot in the place was to correct an order (go figure). I thought McDonalds took some pride in how clean their restaurants are and how professional their staff is. The counter staff are a disheveled, rag-tag bunch... even the manager's pants were the saggy, baggy ones, worn strapped under her(?) butt. Maybe I'm old school, but what happened to uniforms? The floor hadn't been swept, the soda machine had schmutz splattered all over it. I sent an email to McDonald's and never heard a word. Apparently they don't care anymore either. Not good. They didn't really care that my order was wrong, but they fixed it and I won't be back to that one again read more

Worst mcdonalds in the city by far. Consistently atrocious wait times and almost always mess something up or forget something

My first job right out of high school was at a McDonalds. Working with the public is challenging but getting orders correct was not. And when I worked there we didn't have computers. I rarely go to the Williams Blvd McDonalds but today I had guests that requested it. At the window I had to show and repeat 4 times that I was missing a large French fry until she finally listened & got one. Got home and do not understand how I got a quarter pounder with cheese and opened the box and there was no burger. How does that happen?? Never will I go back. read more

The milkshakes have coffee in it my top is loose they got my order wrong I want 2 mc chicken 2 mc double we got 4 mc chicken and they are not spicy and the White man at the window is rude read more

I normally have no issues with this location but man oh man i wont be returning after finding a hair in my fries

If you want to wait 25 minutes for shit fast food, this location is the one to go to. I love McDonald's, some times I need crappy food but no matter how many people are in line or if your the only one, you will wait way to long. read more

I would like to give no stars if possible. My husband and I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich and some other hot and spicy mcchickens. When we got home we ate them immediately and while he was eating his spicy crispy chicken sandwich he felt like something was off about the sandwich. Maybe was the chicken or the stuff inside it. About an hour later he was in the bathroom puking his brains out. He said there was something definitely wrong with that sandwich because we order that weekly and there's never been an issue with it before. But this time there was something wrong with it, maybe the pickles inside because they tasted oddly different and the chicken wasn't tasting like normal either. After realizing it we came to the conclusion that it was food poisoning. Don't ever order these sandwiches late at night!!! read more

A perfectly horrible experience. From the time we paid until we got our food thru the drive thru took over 20 minutes. Burgers were luke warm, buns were stale, pies were wrong and the young man at the window basically threw the food to us. No apologies were offered. He could not have cared less. He was almost worse than the 'high' young man who struggled to take the order. The third time was a charm. We will never go to that McDonald's location ever again. Close this location and send this staff back to school. We saw others complain about their orders being wrong as we waited at the drive up window. read more

When doing a doordash the first time thru drive it took 45 mins to even get to the window for pickup their employees were out smoking with the line backed up to the street , second time , sat at window 7 mins no one came, went up to the window, finally a woman came was rude and said they closed at midnight and anything that came they would not be fulfilled. Extremely rude and unprofessional. read more

Went to Mcdonalds last night around 6:45 p.m. and ordered a mushroom snd swiss sandwich to my horror the mushrooms were so burnt and my hamburger was stiff as leather. I tried to return the sandwich this morning with the proof of a receipt and sandwich in hand. I was told I needed to come back at nigh to speak with the night manager about my issue. With this being said I am a manager at a fast food establishment rule# 1 customer is always right and no matter what shift an error occurs you always treat your customer as if their opinion matters. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and we in my family will never visit this establishment again read more

I was in the drive thru after 4 cars went thru the other line I thought there was something wrong with that line. Drove around to the other drive thru sat there and now people in the other lane was getting helped why we sat there. Arby's got my money and from now on will, better food anyway. read more

The WORST McDonalds ever! Tried ordering through the kiosk and was told "come over here and we will take your order". Didn't listen, had to repeat myself and then left to help someone else. McNuggets were burnt and cold. Messed up my coffee, meaning it tasted awful. Do not go there! read more

It advertises as 24 hours. But I just now went to the drive thru and, after the automated voice said "welcome to McDonald's" there wasn't anyone that answered us. Called twice but no answer. read more

At 10:30 am went threw drive up asked for breakfast they said they wasn't doing breakfast at this time.. OK thought they had egg muffins all the time OK so I ordered a sausage biscuit with egg and cheese and wow they had that. Paid for it pulled up to pick up my order and what did I get... Yep the pull it around. After 10 minutes and I'm not kidding and 5 other suckers got their food I went in and asked where is mine. Ha Ha Ha they didn't make any bisket forgot my order and was scratching their heads like monkeys wondering what to say to me. This is the worst McDonald's poor help no manger to speak of. Fire them all and start over if you can't handle a Sunday at 10:30 am you need to be back in school full time! read more

Absolutely horrid store, managers do not care about their employees. The OWNERS of these stores in Cedar Rapids, IA do not return phone calls to their employees. My daughter worked there and had 150.00 stolen from her purse, yes she now knows better than to take in her purse, the kicker is she KNEW who did it and the store didn't do anything and then accused HER of stealing $30 from her drawer??? The managers also want their back drive employees taking orders, handle money AND roll breakfast burritos?? can you say YUCK. Hopefully with enough negative reviews the owners will decide they have a problem on their hands read more

Used to enjoy this location but since the owner got $$$$$$ from wife (former owner) seems he would rather spend his time at casino instead of building quality staff! Still like their food options but need to get beyond this $1 per hour staff being paid $10+ to satisfy racial demands! Need quality people to provide quality service and food!!! read more

how hard is it to put the bun ON the burger... i had to remake my sandwich. and staff was rude

Always something going on with this joint. Card reader down, shitty service. Drive thru is down, parking lot is under construction......why can't the GM get his wallet out and actually FIX things around his fast food restaurant? read more

I know that obviously it's McDonald's so you can't expect much but I went for the grilled chicken sandwich and I could feel alot of grease on the bun!! So I didn't really feel like I was making a good choice at all. Also, depending on what time you come, sometimes the fries can be super salty. But other times they are just right also I don't like how if you get a drink with a food item it costs more than getting a meal. I love the milkshakes though read more

I'll never understand why McDonalds has that fake announcement when you pull up in the drive through, the woman's voice talks so fast and then when you begin talking to the real person on her other end they're lethargic and wish they were anywhere else. I've been through this McDonalds several times, but this last I was just disgusted. The woman taking my order had bleeding scabs all over her face! No no no!! I just can't stomach that in a food establishment. read more

This has to be one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The drive-thru is at least a 15 minute wait at all times of the day and the dining room is even worse. You'd think if it takes that long to get your food it would at least be fresh and what you ordered but that's not the case. I've received cold hamburger patties and fries and the order is always has at least one thing incorrect. read more
