Im so mad. You dont understand. This exact mc donalds SUCKS. I've had so many issues with it before idk why I even went back. Today I was learning how tf to use their bum ass app and ordered online. Btw it was 52 dollars worth of shit. And I bearly got stuff but whatever. Anyways somehow the app kicked us off of the thing and we had to get into the drive through. Whatever thats cool, I go through the drive through. This man. Was SO RUDE. he was yelling and being a complete asshole. He did that before we even opened our mouths btw. I said yeah. And she was like we had those ready give me just one second. And I was happy cause ya know. We had food ready. And the dude in the drive through is not as intelligent as me. I experienced the worst customer service at this McDonald's in Cedar Rapids. I placed an order, but when I arrived, it wasn't ready. I waited patiently, but when it was taking too long, I asked about my order. The staff told me they couldn't give me my food because I didn't have a digital receipt. I even showed them my bank transaction and the order number, but they still refused to help. Now, my money is gone, and I didn't get my food either. This is by far the worst McDonald's experience I've had. I almost forgot to mention that this wasn't just a regular worker--it was a manager. The food is decent, last time I was here the worker was racist, because the costumer's got a free slushy with a big family when me and my family had 4 people and the others had 7. My dad went to go get sauce and there was 3 workers looking at him and did not assist him. All of the tables were dirty. The soda area was NOT clean at all. There was so much water/soda on the floor and that area was just so dirty. Every table we went to go sit at it has food all over. I hate going to this McDonalds. In fact, I hate it so much I've driven to the one on 33rd Ave (I can The the Williams Blvd location from the end of my driveway ). Never have I been here and received my order correctly. Not once. Breakfast, lunch, dinner doesn't matter.... wrong every time. The last time I stepped foot in the place was to correct an order (go figure). I thought McDonalds took some pride in how clean their restaurants are and how professional their staff is. The counter staff are a disheveled, rag-tag bunch... even the manager's pants were the saggy, baggy ones, worn strapped under her(?) butt. Maybe I'm old school, but what happened to uniforms? The floor hadn't been swept, the soda machine had schmutz splattered all over it. I sent an email to McDonald's and never heard a word. Apparently they don't care anymore either. Not good. They didn't really care that my order was wrong, but they fixed it and I won't be back to that one again read more

My first job right out of high school was at a McDonalds. Working with the public is challenging but getting orders correct was not. And when I worked there we didn't have computers. I rarely go to the Williams Blvd McDonalds but today I had guests that requested it. At the window I had to show and repeat 4 times that I was missing a large French fry until she finally listened & got one. Got home and do not understand how I got a quarter pounder with cheese and opened the box and there was no burger. How does that happen?? Never will I go back. read more

I would like to give no stars if possible. My husband and I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich and some other hot and spicy mcchickens. When we got home we ate them immediately and while he was eating his spicy crispy chicken sandwich he felt like something was off about the sandwich. Maybe was the chicken or the stuff inside it. About an hour later he was in the bathroom puking his brains out. He said there was something definitely wrong with that sandwich because we order that weekly and there's never been an issue with it before. But this time there was something wrong with it, maybe the pickles inside because they tasted oddly different and the chicken wasn't tasting like normal either. After realizing it we came to the conclusion that it was food poisoning. Don't ever order these sandwiches late at night!!! read more

A perfectly horrible experience. From the time we paid until we got our food thru the drive thru took over 20 minutes. Burgers were luke warm, buns were stale, pies were wrong and the young man at the window basically threw the food to us. No apologies were offered. He could not have cared less. He was almost worse than the 'high' young man who struggled to take the order. The third time was a charm. We will never go to that McDonald's location ever again. Close this location and send this staff back to school. We saw others complain about their orders being wrong as we waited at the drive up window. read more

When doing a doordash the first time thru drive it took 45 mins to even get to the window for pickup their employees were out smoking with the line backed up to the street , second time , sat at window 7 mins no one came, went up to the window, finally a woman came was rude and said they closed at midnight and anything that came they would not be fulfilled. Went to Mcdonalds last night around 6:45 p.m. and ordered a mushroom snd swiss sandwich to my horror the mushrooms were so burnt and my hamburger was stiff as leather. I tried to return the sandwich this morning with the proof of a receipt and sandwich in hand. I was told I needed to come back at nigh to speak with the night manager about my issue. I know that obviously it's McDonald's so you can't expect much but I went for the grilled chicken sandwich and I could feel alot of grease on the bun!! So I didn't really feel like I was making a good choice at all. Also, depending on what time you come, sometimes the fries can be super salty. Ridiculous!!! I went there at around 1 AM Friday night 05/24/19 because my friends wanted food and they were the only place open. Me, being fully aware this locations drive thru is open 24/7 I pull up to the speaker where they have an animated voice message basically asking us what we want (I guess they're too lazy to do it themselves) after around 30 seconds of figuring out what my friends want to eat and ordering it we get informed by a what sounded to be white, young female that they are actually closed.. I thought this was extremely suspicious considering they always advertise 24/7 there and there were other cars further ahead in the drive thru but I just said okay and drove off. We then went to Wendy's (thank god they took our order cause it was actually PAST closing time) and we got food there. On the way back home, we are not only people going through the drive thru once again but also people inside with food eating. Therefore, I decided to go ask what the f***?!?!! Before we went in I decided to calm down and I went through the drive thru once again. There was now what seemed to be a teenager. I asked "are you guys taking people's orders?" She said yes. I said "okay well there was a girl who told us about 20 minutes ago you guys were closed" she then interrupts me and says yeah I don't know why she did that but I can take your order" I said we don't want one, we went and got Wendy's instead thankyou though. She then proceeds to say ew.. okay bye! and stops the conversation all together.. we then drove off. mind you, not a single apology from any staff members.
