05/19/2012 my friends and I went on a Vineyard Tour for to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl, booked and organized the trip. A contract was signed for 15 girls to in a limo. She told Mike of LI Vineyard Tours, that she may have 16 girls - again she signed a contract for 15 girls. The car was still going to be a limo NOT a limo bus. Prior to the signing of the contract, my friend was told that there were no limo buses available for the date of her event therefore she would have to limit the number of girls on the trip. She told many of our friends that they could not attend. The day of the trip, Mike upgraded the limo to a limo bus. Thank you. The birthday girl called to inform him that we will only have the 15 girls attending that she signed the contract for. Mike raises his voice, screams at her and talks to her in a demeaning manner. He states that there was a "verbal contract" of 16 girls. That it is the reason why he upgraded her vehicle. His tone and deameanor was inappropriate and unprofessional. It does not matter that there was a "verbal contract" for 16 girls. There was a verbal contract for a limo and you gave a limo bus. She signed a contract for 15 girls; the signed contract is the only one that actually counts (okay, Mike?). He hangs up on her and calls the driver to say that he is ordered to NOT move the bus until he gets every dime. We paid for all 16 girls. We went on the trip and had a good time, once we let this frustration go. It is not that he made us pay for an extra person. It is the way he spoke to my friend. She sat at the front of the bus and I could hear him on the phone all the way at the other end. That is no way to conduct business; that is no way to treat anyone. With that being said, us 15 girls (and all of our friends) will never be using his company again. read more

Reposting the below again since these guys are trying to avoid the terrible reviews they are getting on their other company name Metro Limousine Services: WORST company I've ever dealt with. I wish I read these reviews before booking with these guys because the limo driver and the manager on the phone (he never gave me his name and hung up on me) were both complete ASSHOLES! They literally left me and my party at the first vineyard and told me "good luck finding a ride home!". If you do book for some reason (may god help you), stay away from the driver Michael in a white Lincoln limo (NY license plate #17424LV). Essentially, I booked these guys for a wine tour to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend and to enjoy the day with a group of our close family and friends. They promoted themselves on a website called winetoursoflongisland.com and after comparing the costs of their wine tasting/lunch package vs. doing everything piecemeal, I decided to just go with them since it was a little bit cheaper and convenient. Stupidest decision I've made this year... Julie Gee was the manager I booked the deal with over the phone. She was nice at the time I booked and said that all I had to do was sign the contracts and then pay the driver at the END of the day (this became an issue later with the driver)... After the trip was planned on the phone I thought it would have been smooth sailing. Unfortunately that was NOT the case... To start the day, the driver (Michael) threatened that he'll leave my group if people got too drunk as soon as he got to my house... this limo was book specifically for a wine tour! Not that we were all planning on blacking out, but this was already off to bad start. Michael then decides to tell us that a girl from the previous week peed on his carpet and a group of guys for the week before then ripped out one of the small TV screens. I'm not surprised now since I'm sure the driver was an asshole then too. Once we get to the very FIRST vineyard (Laurel Lakes), the driver asked for payment right away. After I explained that Julie (his boss) said we didn't have to pay until the end and that some of us may still need to get some money at an ATM, he agreed to just give him cash after the first vineyard since we were already there and we would just cover the costs of the wine tastings ourselves.... however, less than 2 minutes later, the driver changes his mind, walked into the middle of the vineyard and demanded payment in front of the entire place, intentionally causing a scene. He went as far as telling one of my friends that "if we want a problem, we can have a problem" and then went on a rant of how he doesn't need this "stress" and started to take our stuff out of his limo. After his inappropriate and unprofessional public display, my friends and I collected the amount he needed to cover the trip (not including tip), however, before giving him the money, I showed it to him so he knew we can pay and were serious but told him how disrespectful and inappropriate his attitude and approach was to the situation. Even with the money in his face, he decided that it wasn't good enough so he drove off, leaving with some of our stuff still in his car. Upon his departure, even the workers at the vineyard were shocked and disgusted by the drivers attitude and actions. The sad part is that the vineyard has been having frequent issues with Metro and may no longer with them again. After calling Metro's phone number to complain, the manager on duty wasn't any better... he never gave me his name and actually started yelling on the phone as if we were the ones that did something wrong. Luckily I found another company after spending the next hour calling around, but it totally ruined our morning and what was supposed to be a stress free day (I was there to celebrate my anniversary!). Sorry for the long write up but this was a nightmare and hope no one ever has to go through that experience again. read more

Toured a few vineyards on Long Island with 10 other women. Day was beautiful. Vineyards were lovely. Limo and driver, on the other hand, need some work. First thing out of the drivers mouth was "we're not making any bathroom stops". Uh excuse me? Our group paid a nice sum for this trip and if we had to make a pit stop, then we WOULD have made a pit stop! The drivers attire was old, worn, and dirty/stained. He proceeded to take us completely out of the way to avoid "traffic" but tacked on another 30 minutes of wasted driving to wind up exactly where we would have been if we didn't try to avoid "traffic" in the first place. (I use quotation marks because apparently traffic is a big deal and the #1 excuse for everything.) Then to add insult to injury, he drove like a bat out of hell!!! We were slipping and sliding all over the seat! Then when we got to the vineyards we had to muster for 10 minutes at each one so he could tell us how to select our wines (thanks for that) and how to tip (didn't need a lesson in that). Our group was old enough not to be spoken to like we're in the 3rd grade. The limo was filthy like it hadn't been washed in months, (even had 'wash me' written on the window!) and sounded like it would break down at any minute. Bottom line, while we all had a good time, I won't be giving this company my business again. If you should decide to give them a try, make sure you request a freshly washed limo and a professional driver that takes pride in his appearance, at the very least. read more

Changed Name from Metro Limo, but Still the Same Despicable Co. Winery Tour 1. The driver did not keep on schedule at all. We had to pick up a guest out east and he was 40 mins late. The first winery he was late picking us up, we had to call him to get us at the second one and the third we went looking for him. Where we found him was a whole other level of wrong, but I will explain that later. 2. The driver (Bernardo) brought a lady friend who sat in front with him, which was strange enough, but it got even stranger towards the end. 3. The limo was not in the greatest of shape. Definitely outdated. Some of the buttons didn't work or work properly and any radio stations barely came in. 4. As I stated earlier, the driver brought a much-younger lady friend (we thought it could possibly be his daughter) with him on the ride. We all thought it was strange, but figured it wasn't a big deal if it didn't affect us. Problem is, it did. When it was time to head home, we had to go find him (he should have been watching the time himself, but ok, no big deal.) We were about to call him when we noticed there were some people in the back of the limo--getting dressed. It was him and his friend. She quickly got out on the other side and into the front seat, hair messed. We were all outraged and disgusted. Some of us left our things and a bottle of our own liquor in there! Besides the fact that such behavior in gross and uncalled for!! 5. When we got dropped off, he asked for a tip in addition to the payment for the tour (which INCLUDED his gratuity!) Then when the leader of the group reconsidered, he refused her money and got nasty with her. He THREATENED her by saying he was going to charge her credit card on file with the company. 6. We have let the place know and are awaiting some form of condolences, but have not heard back from the female manager since the initial complaint. We were told this man was FIRED, but I doubt it. Though we did not have as big of problems as the other group's that wrote here, what this company allowed to happen was completely UNPROFESSIONAL. For how much money you spend, service should be held to a higher standard. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!!! read more

I had the exact same experience as Kris. EXCEPT mine seemed to be a bit worse. Our driver also said he wouldn't stop for bathroom breaks, he looked like he hadn't taken a shower or washed his clothes in months, the limo was old and dirty, and to top it off, our driver locked his keys in the car at the first vineyard. He offered to buy 11 girls ONE bottle of wine while we waited 45 minutes for the police to come and open the car. One bottle...seriously? For 11 people. We all had a couple of sips. I was also a little annoyed that our driver also felt the need to give some wine tasting tips...the thought was nice but it would have been better if he would have actually known what he was talking about. I'm a sommelier and I finally had to ask him to stop giving tips because they were misguided...he told me I was wrong. Whatever. It's a good thing the weather was perfect and all we wanted to do was relax b/c I would have been upset that we didn't go to any of the vineyards I had chosen for the group. Booked a tour with this company for a birthday party with 12 people. The woman who was in charge of booking the trip was extremely accommodating. Her thorough description of how the tour would run was very accurate. The price was $120 per person. This included transportation, gratuity, three tastings at each vineyard and a boxed lunch. I thought this price was pretty reasonable. The bus pulled up fifteen minutes early which was awesome considering I was very worried about the driver being on time. I was worried about the air conditioner as the day turned out to be hot, and it was on full blast, another great sign. The bus which was stated to fit 11-14 people was the perfect size for the twelve of us. Plenty of room to spread out and fit our coolers. We did however have a last second cancellation because one of the girls fell ill and the company made us pay the full price for this person even though they weren't attending. The bus had a hook up for your IPOD which I thought was awesome until I realized the volume could only be turned up half way or else the speakers were making loud booming noises like they were going to explode. This was a downer considering I made a playlist for the trip and the music was very quiet. On the way home from the third vineyard the system was completely shot and would shut off five seconds into a song, come back on then shut off again. Very annoying. Music is KEY on a party bus! The driver was quiet, he got us to the vineyards and got us home and that was about it. He was always on time and had our lunches exactly when he said he would, no complaints. Now onto the lunches, it cost each person an additional $15 for lunch. They were very EHHHHH. Mediocre at best, definitely should have brought our own. Sandwiches made from home would have been a lot better than these lunches which is why I give the rating three stars and not 4. No drinks were provided (yes I know we're on a wine tour but having a few sodas or water bottles would have been nice to include with the 15 dollars.) The agreement said that chips and a homemade cookie would be part of the lunch and we didn't get either. The apples that were provided were bruised, black and definitely weren't washed prior to being served. The food was just eh. Lets put it this way, thank goodness we brought extra snacks for the ride because we devoured them once we got back onto the bus. Overall the trip was enjoyable. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because of the music mishap and the so so lunches. read more

Used LI Vineyard Tours to plan a trip to the North Fork, had a really great day. I called one or two other companies for information about a week before I wanted to go and they all spoke to me like I was crazy for not having booked months in advance. I called this place, spoke to Julie and was really grateful for the ease of booking a trip with such short notice. She was great with information and setting it all up! We payed $120 per person, not including tip. Our group of 10 was picked up from Long Beach and were driven out to the North Fork. We ran a little late due to one friend getting lost on her way to meet the limo and again after the gaggle of small girls decided they needed to use the bathroom. Regardless, we had a good time in the limo as it was a pleasant surprise that it was stocked with vodka, scotch, gin and plenty of mixers. We made it to all 3 vineyards we had planned. The package comes with 4 tokens at each vineyard for a taste, so total 12. If you're looking to get drunk, drink the vodka in the limo and be prepared to buy some bottles. We visited Baiting Hollow, Pugliese, and Vineyard 48. Pugilese had the best, and most reasonably priced wine bottles, and Vineyard 48 was essentially the Jersey Shore plopped in the vineyard, fist pumping included. We opted for the lunch option- an additional $15pperson I believe. The sandwiches and salads were tasty to ravenous drunkards, but mediocre at best. We had brought some of our own munchies, and that was honestly much more satisfying. Pack your own, it's more exciting that way. \ Of course, our driver used our lateless to his accord, and offered us another hour for an additional $100. We opted for it, for some more time in the sunshine. A little gimmicky, but we went for it. Ohh well. It's a great time, just be prepared to spend a good chunk more than you had originally planned! read more

On Aug 18th my friends and I went to celebrate my birthday we got a party bus which was spacious however it was an older model (smelled a little) and did not have decent working air conditioning we basically sat in the bus sweating to death on a 95 degree day, also I think I have whiplash from the driver jumping the curb at one of the vineyards it happened so quickly all I seen was everyone rolling around the bus and falling over.....the sandwiches that the company provides for lunch are not good, they are dry and do not taste good so my recommendation whether you use this company or any other one is bring your own food. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I just went on a Vineyard Tour with 18 of my friends this past weekend and we used LI Vineyard Tours. We were picked up in a Hummer Limousine that was very nice. We all had such a wonderful time! The Office Manager Julie set up our entire day. The Driver Joe was extremely knowledgeable of the vineyards we went to which made the day more pleasurable. The lunch was delicious too! The day went smoothly and you can tell they have been doing this a long time. My friend recommended LI vineyard tours when she had her Bachelorette party a year ago and I'm so glad I listened to her. We all decided that this will be an annual trip for us! read more

Last night we were booked for a small bus to transport our staff to a corporate event in NYC from Long Island. They upgraded our bus free of charge, driver arrived exactly on time, and he was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be using them again! We were giving some of our employees a treat by taking them on a Vineyard Tour. All I can say is DO NOT USE this company!!! We had an old limousine and a terrible driver. First the driver was an hour LATE in picking us up. We got to the first winery and when we called to be picked up the driver did not answer his phone. We had to wait. The worst part was when we started to go back to NYC after our day (mind you we are leaving very late as we started so late) the driver pulls the car to the side of the road to tell us there is a problem with the car - we may not be able to get back. He thinks it is dirt in the gas. If it was the car would not have been able to be driven. I am convinced that he didn't want to make the trip back into the city on a Friday afternoon. Amazingly the car was able to proceed at normal speeds back to the city. The driver then got off at the 59th Street bridge (our office was closer to the tunnel) and then pulls over to tell us that he can't continue as the transmission as died. The car did not sputter or make any noises or feel like a transmission was going. He merely pulled the car over in a dark, desolate area and said we'd have to get out make other arrangements to get home. We told him that HE needed to make other arrangements. We ended up taking an UBER home. Given that the day started so late we all missed our respective dinner plans. The driver was clearly lying about the condition of the car and just did not want to complete the long day. All I can say is if you want a fun, relaxing day touring vineyards stay away from this company. A real waste of money! read more

From the first hello - Julie is Beyond spectacular. She is patient, knowledgeable, quite funny, has a great personality, walks you through everything you are seeking and really wants to help you with the particulars of your day. The limo was on time clean comfortable and ready for a Girls Day Out at the Wineries! Our driver was very professional, came dressed to impress and seemed to have really good attitude. Overall, this was a great experience. What an AWESOME way to sample lots of yummy wine on the North Fork,enjoy the delicious lunch they supplied us with, and get home to your loved ones safely after all that wine. read more

The limo was okay however the driver didn't have GPS and it took us 4 hours to get to the 1st vineyard due to Traffic and the fact that they were using paper maps...like it was the 90s. Since we lost most of our day being in the car, we only were able to get to 2 vineyards. When we wanted a time extension since our tasting only ended up being an hour total, with the rest being stuck during the commute - the owner was extremely rude & threatened to leave us on the vineyard. Not only did he curse and hang up on us, he also threatened to charge the credit card on file. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - Pay a little more somewhere else and get better service. TRUST ME. read more

To all wedding parties, Do not sign up for a Long Island wine tour with this company! Today 23 ladies and I spent two hours on the side of the Long Island Expressway after our bus caught on fire!!! Our LI Vineyard tour bus picked us up and 45 minutes into our trip the compressor melted and our bus started to smoke and went up in flames! Our driver Jimmy was smart enough to pull to the side of the road but only after a good Samaritan pulled up next to our bus and alerted us to the flames. Mike, the dispatcher, argued with the maid of honor about discounting the trip or giving us any sort of reimbursement for our troubles...after spending 2 hours on the side of a major highway we were picked up and got to spend little time and a few wineries before heading back to Queens. My hair still smells like burnt rubber. Please, spare yourselves time and a near death experience! Follow up: A few weeks after I posted this review a "friend of a friend" called various wine tours trying to get pricing and tour information. Long Island Vineyards may say that the 21 of us are lying about our experience. However, I have the pictures to prove it...photos of the charred bus, police officers and fire safety. Also, one of the party goers was quick with the extinguisher and I have photos of her post-extinguish! If you do decide to use this company I urge you to get a well written, comprehensive contract to cover yourselves. That's all : ) read more

Just used this company this past week 10/20 for a group of 6 girls for a bachelorette party. Dealt with Julie who was always informative, knowledgable, quick to respond and accommodating. The entire day went off exactly as Julie had promised. The driver arrived early and was polite and friendly as could be. We had one girl who was running a little late to meet our group in the city that morning and the driver was happy to accommodate and try to direct her to avoid traffic so we could get going. Driver got us to the winery early and was happy to prance around with us in the vineyard to take photos, etc. Driver was very flexible as far as bathroom breaks and adjusting our time at each vineyard depending on how much fun we were having at each. We had so much fun during the day, that we elected to pay an extra $85 to extend the stay at the last vineyard by an hour (which, split between 6 girls wasn't a bad deal at all. We visited Baiting Hollow, Pugliese and Vineyard 48. We did hit a bit of traffic on the way home but the driver did all he could to try to get us around the traffic. We had so much fun, we decided to make this an annual girls trip. Highly recommend this company as the $75.00 per head (which included the gourmet boxed lunch which chips, cookies, AND apple) is MUCH cheaper than any other company I looked in to. read more

Booked this trip from the West Coast for a bachlorette weekend in New York (since that's where the bride lives). Surprisingly, I did not google the company before booking the tour so when I did find the reviews, I was super nervous since I booked it and it was confirmed. I was planning this for a group of girls I haven't ever met and I didn't want to look like a fool! Communication prior to the tour was good. Julie returned phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Day of the tour, the driver (already forgot his name...) arrived 15 minutes early. So far so good....the limo was clean, nice...we loaded up and headed out. It was a little bit of a cluster to get out the city...and the girls that were from NYC were definitely questioning his choice of routes. To be fair...lots of streets were closed that day due to whatever reason...but it did take us about an hour to get out of Manhattan. It was almost if he didn't know the city very well and he actually asked us for suggestions on how to get out. That was weird. The actual tour was nice. Wines were okay (Macari was my fav) but I have to say, I prefer Willamette Valley vineyards and wines (biased since I'm from Oregon...) Driver was polite, courteous, gave us information when we wanted it...and would text me (which I absolutely prefer over a phone call) when we needed to be weary of the time and head to the next vineyard. Overall, the trip was great. I expected something horrible because of the reviews...but was pleasantly surprised. Thank you!! read more

We were a bit skeptical when we first heard about a vineyard tour for $75. It actually turned out to be $107 per person which included limo transportation, 3 vineyards, and gratuity fees. You can have them order sandwiches for you too but it's an extra $15 pp which is pretty steep. My friends and I just brought our own lunches and munchies just to save some $. Overall, our driver was a lot nicer and accommodating compare to other reviews I have read on Yelp. Thankfully, he did ask whether we needed bathroom breaks. Whew. For an 8hr tour, it definitely felt a bit rushed. We stayed about 45 mins to an hour at each vineyard and traffic going back was long and tiring. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I still think it's a bit expensive for a wine tour. read more

We recently booked a vineyard tour with this company and I highly suggest against using this company. The only shining start in our day was our driver Michael who truly attempted to make the chaotic day a bit better. To begin I would like to say that we found out that one of the three vineyards we were to visit cancelled their contract with the tour company two days prior to our scheduled tour. The company did offer to buy 2-3 bottles of wine for us at the remaining vineyards in order to make up for the fact. We did not find out until they day off that the driver had a $50 limit for the 2-3 wine bottles. We were picked up at Freeport LIRR station from which it was 1.5 hour car ride to the vineyards. There was over 45 minute traffic on our way to the vineyards (not ours or drivers fault). We were told by the driver that the company policy is that we have to pay additional $100/hr if we use the car past 6 o'clock. Once we got to the first vineyard there was no reserved seating as some other companies provided (we found this out at the vineyard). After getting to the second vineyard we had to wait 30 mins in line to get in REGARDLESS of having reservations. At this point we called Mike who has been the point person to discuss extending time as between traffic (not our fault) and having to wait in line (not our fault but tour company did say we would have reservations). We lost approximately 1.5 hours of between those two events which were out of our control. Mike the contact person would not pick up our phone calls even though we tried multiple times. However, he did pick up a phone call from our driver who begged and pleaded for us and got us an extra 30 minutes. On top of the horrible organization and customer service, the food is deli sandwiches and salads (very very sad looking lunch). One of the vineyards had a food truck with apps and snack which was much better than the lunch provided. Additionally beware that this place ONLY accepted cash and it was collected prior to our arrival at the first vineyard. Overall, a very disappointing experience and would not recommend using this company for wine tours in Long Island. read more

My friend set this up a month in advance. It was suppose to be a surprise for her partner. The limo was suppose to pick us up at 9:30, we get a phone call at 9:20 that there is a problem in the rear of the limo and he doesnt know what time he will pick us up, because he doesnt know how long it will take them to fix it, and he is a half hour away from us. SO now the surprise is ruined. My friend who booked this, called and got treated like total shit over the phone by Mike. She was so upset, that we all tired to talk to Mike, and he contuined to become more and more of an asshole over the phone, and cancelled our limo. Finally for some reason Mike choose to finally take his head out of his ass, and send the limo back to pick us up. We didnt get picked up until 11:30. We weren't offered anything for 1 the limo showing up late and 2 for Mike treating us like total shit. I will NEVER ever use this agency again, nor will any of my friends or family. This agency does not value their customers, their customer service is the worse I have ever witnessed and experienced in my life. Mike and Julie both require training on how to speak to people!!!! We had a group of 12 for a bachelorette party. The limo showed up early, 10 am for a 10:30 am pickup and the driver went through the day with me and timing. She was very nice and explained everything. Half way to the first vineyard the limo lost power and we had no AC and no radio. The driver apologized repeatedly. We went to Baiting Hollow, Jason Vineyard and Vineyard 48. The vineyards were nice and all different atmospheres. Lunches were served at the second vineyard. Similar to another review lunch was mediocre but convenient. We received 4-5 tokens per vineyard. You won't get drunk unless you buy bottles. I booked with Julie, who was always very nice and easy to work with. Our driver was nice. I called the next day about the issue with the car losing power and the owners refunded us the cost of the lunch. They were already aware of the issue, our driver reported it. I have no complaints. The only issue was the car losing power, but at least they compensated us for the inconvenience. The driver also tried to pump the music up front so we could hear it in the back and we kept the windows open to try and stay cool. I would book with them again and hopefully have another good experience. read more

I don't know about the these other reviews, but I just used Metro Limo Service this weekend for my bachelorette wine tasting tour out east LI and it was the BEST experience ever!! We had the best driver ever, Anthony! He arrived at our pick up location about 20 minutes early. He was kind, patience, good driver and gave us an heads up how long we were going to be at each winery approximately. We paid the extra $ for lunch and it was well worth it because after all the tastings, we were very hungry! I highly recommend using them and we will definitely use them again before the end of the summer. All the girls had a blast and the weather was great. Booking was also a easy breeze and excellent customer service with Julie. She answered all of our questions, went through all the details and fine print. I personally like to give my 2 cents in whenever I have good or bad service at any public location that I attend so I defiantly had to let others know about Metro Limo. I'm beyond appalled at how this company handled my tour this past weekend. It started at 8:45am when I received a call that our vehicle broke down on the LIE and they weren't sure if they could find another car or driver for us for the day. They offered ZERO solutions or apology and basically acted as if it was my fault they were having issues with THEIR vehicle. We were able to get to the first vineyard for an additional cost (500) that the company would not fully refund (only 250). When we arrived the driver didn't have the drop off details for our group back in Manhattan, and kept on blaming me even though it was stated in my email when I reached out to book the tour that we needed to go to NYC. Side note - I hired your company to organize the day, if you were missing details then follow up! The driver told me that he had to call to get permission from the boss for a drop off in the city. After he got off the phone he said it was ok, but we would have to pay $20 extra for the tolls (they were really nickle and diming us)! I pulled up the contract right there which had a line item that stated the price for tolls and other fees. I wish it ended there, but after the second winery at 2:30pm, the driver told us that we had to forgo the last winery due to travel time to our drop off location. Then one the way home the temperature in the car got really hot so we asked the driver to make it cooler and he said he couldn't bc we were overheating. IT WAS 90 DEGREES!!! We started the day at 11:45am and got back at 5:30pm and we were charged for the full 8 hrs, even though we ended up only being 6 hrs. We were also charged for the last tasting which we never had bc they collect all cash at the start. Prior to this experience, I used this company for 3 other tours (one also didnt have AC) and will NEVER use them again. This it NOT the proper way to treat a loyal customer! DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

This is the second time I used LI Vineyard Tours and it was just as great as the first time! They never let me down. Julie was so helpful, professional and funny! She actually remembered me from last year. She makes booking our tour easy, smooth and fun. Last time, we had Roberto, he was an awesome driver! This time, our party was bigger and we had John; he was just as great. They help guide your day and let you know when to leave so you don't go overtime. The lunch was really good and convenient to have everything done for us. Looks like this will be an annual trip for us!! I wouldn't use anyone else! Awful experience! Our bus arrived on time and that was the highlight of the trip. First the AC was not working and then 40 mins into our trip we noticed some smoke filtering into our bus. We warned the driver of the situation and he pulled over to open up the emergency exits on the ceiling to "let the air out". we continued driving and noticed the smoke started getting worse and now we had a burning smell as well. AT this point a driver pulled up next to us and told us that we were on fire and that there were flames coming out of the back of the bus! After my cousin who is a firefighter put out the fire, the driver and the company told us it was safe to get back on despite the police saying it wasn't. They said the only thing they could do was send another bus and it would take 2 HOURS!!!!!!!! We had to wait on the side of the LIE service road in the heat until they came back with another bus, again with no AC. They did not offer to send cabs or cars from another company, nor did they offer any sort of monetary reimbursement for the lost two hours of our trip. Not only that, but we paid for tastings at four wineries and only made it to two. After fighting with the dispatcher for HOURS they only gave us $25 a person back. While I understand there are situations beyond their control, the customer service they provided in response to this breakdown was not sufficient. We were willing to work with them to find alternate means of transportation but they would not budge. I could not believe they wanted 24 girls, one being pregnant, to get back on a charred bus, even after the police said it was not a good idea, just to save a few bucks. Not only did they not come through with the service they said they were going to provide, but they were willing to put our lives in danger. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Thanks LI Vineyard Tours for helping me plan a last minute bachelorette party! I had a contract from another company who had hidden charges so had to book a place two weeks before the bachelorette party. I came accorss LI Vinewayrd online and they were really professional and upfront about their fees. The contract had the same amount as discussed with Julie (the contact i spoke to). They were very accommodating since i had to add more people a week before the event. The driver was very nice and always gave me a 10 minute heads up before we left each winery which was a good amount of time needed to gather everyone. The trip we booked was from Brooklyn to Long Island and it included lunch. The sandwiches and the cookies we got were fresh. Also there were juices and some alcohol in the limo for our journey. Overall we had a really good experience and i would book again with this company if i ever need a trip to long island. The prices they offer for the trips to LI are very reasonable! read more

This company was the best.The manager, Ms Julie, was very helpful and planned and chose the vineyards based on what was a good fit for us.The vineyards were fun and during our final stop at Bating Hollow was awesome.This vineyard was also a horse rescue where you could walk and see the horses.It also had live music, shop, and the wines were yummy.The atmosphere at every vineyard was nice and the staff were very helpful from beginning to end. I did this with my boyfriend and it was still nice although there were other groups there we still received individualized attention. read more

I wanted to do a get together with my family the week before Mother's Day to avoid all the hustle and bustle during the busiest, and craziest day of the year. I did some research, if you know me, I am one to do research and hand in the project all in a week's time frame, so I came across wine tours on long island, never knew that was a thing. Called a few companies, the reception thinks that I am nuts organizing a party of 28 with 4 days notice. Up until I call here, and spoke to Julie, she is nice and accommodating, hauled ass to get the contracts, and detail emailed to me, and of course I did the same. The whole thing was booked and ready within 2 hours, and we had a great time, the driver took care of our every need from making 5 stops to the bathroom, to stumbling our way back to the Party Bus like a bunch of Idiots. We did get charged for going over the time, but I wouldn't count that on them since it is a business, and the price is fair for taking care of a bunch of wasted adults. It's definitely a story my family and I will remember for a long time to come, and we will be back! read more
