I used Rosal limos for my boyfriends 30th bday and we had an absolutely amazing time, and the majority of that was because of the superior service of Rosal limos. From start to finish, amazing customer service. Even making the reservations was fast and easy, and I spoke to the most lovely man over the phone :) Then Robert, our even more awesome driver, was a delight. He was patient with us (me more specifically running late getting ready) he knew the limo was a surprise and played along when my boyfriend came outside. And when we hit traffic, he took it upon himself to call the restaurant and let them know! He was perfection. The inside of the limo was amazing, stocked with liquor and champagne, it's enough to say that we got plastered. We have used this company over the past few years for apx. 4 separate occasions so we have good experience with their cars, drivers and service, however, our last experience changes everything and as a result, we will no longer be using or recommending them to others for the following reasons: 1. We ordered our favorite car, Chrysler 300M stretch (which is one of their newer limos) and received a confirmation of this car in our email. However, they switched the car on us and send an older Lincoln SUV. The sound system was very weak and sounded horrible, the interior lights would just turn off for a second at various times throughout the trip (we had no special effects turned on). 2. The driver told us to knock on the divider anytime we wanted to change air temp or tell him something, which was strange since usually this is done by control console. We thought it was broken since he told us to knock which was ridiculous. 3. The suspension on this Lincoln is poor and we felt all the bumps on the road pretty harshly. 4. They want CASH upfront for the trip before you even get in the car and didn't want to accept a credit card. This is a red flag right away, since they can essentially take your money and you don't have much recourse besides a small claim lawsuit, which we won't even bother with since we simply just wrote this company off as just bad luck. 5. The day after our trip, I asked to speak to the owner, Sal, who called me back and was very argumentative and kept saying things like: No one else complains when we "upgrade them". Ok Sal, how about you go to a restaurant and order a steak and they upgrade you to what they believe is a better dish you didn't want? Where's the logic?? Argued with me that they didn't send a Lincoln, when we actually have photos of the damn car. Argued with me about an 8 minute difference in overtime, as I thought it was 15 minutes and he corrected me saying it was ACTUALLY 23 minutes! Wow, not like it mattered since we paid for the whole additional hour anyway. He claims he has the best reviews (3.7 on google reviews isn't that great). And neither is this review great. Sal never even bothered to call and notify us that they are switching the car on us, even if he considered this older SUV an upgrade, it should have been communicated to us as it was NOT what we ordered. They baited and switched us, and apparently not only us, another reviewer on google reviews had the same experience, viz: https://goo.gl/maps/NnpcK8ZUe8s As the conversation continued, Sal even mentioned, "well if you read the agreement, we have the right to switch cars on you without notice". Great Customer Service Etiquette, so instead of actually resolving the situation, you're throwing more fuel into the fire by rubbing your sneaky contracts in my face. You didn't bother to offer even a partial refund on this trip, however, when I asked if you could do something more reasonable like free 2 hours on next purchase, you declined. So now I decline ever doing business with your company and all of the people we were often referring to you will no longer be using your services either. In an industry that is declining, this was the wrong way to treat a loyal and regular customer. read more

If there was an option to choose 10 stars, I would. Rosal Limousine was more than phenomenal to me and our group of friends for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. The customer service from Sal himself, was superb, easy and quick. Setting the reservation up was easy and efficient and he sent me a confirmation email with contract within a half an hour of our conversation. Our driver Shane, was polite, communicative and most importantly ON TIME, if not early! He was patient and the whole experience was lovely. I will for sure be using Rosal again. Oh, and the limousine itself was high end, clean and they even put two bottles of champagne, a happy birthday banner and balloons in addition!!!!! Booked a limo for a birthday bash with legendary limousines and received RoSal Limousines. Our driver Ralph was courteous and a professional . Hired them for a 10 passenger Lincoln and was upgraded to a 14 passenger Expedition. Was a great looking truck with plenty of room . The truck was clean inside and out , although it was raining out that night . If I had to do it again , it would be the right choice . read more

Thought we would have had a great experience with this company but sadly Sal and his wife (I think it's his wife) aren't honorable and trustworthy people. I called on 9/8/14 to get a quote for our wedding and he got me the info for his Escalade and Chrysler; I informed him I would call back the next day to put a deposit down. I called on the 9th and I left a voice-mail asking him to call me back; which didn't happen. I called back on the 10th and spoke to a women (wife) and she said that Sal ran out and would call me back that night (didn't happen again) and that she would make sure to hold the 2 limo's for the date I requested. I got a phone call from Sal on the 11th at 9pm but went unanswered because I was asleep. I returned the call today and finally got a hold of Sal and he tells me that the Limo's were booked. I commended him on the way he runs his business and hung up. Why is it so hard to find a decent Limo service in NYC?? So sad. If you want to do business with this Company be sure to leave your money prior to receiving a quote. My advice is to stay away, but that's none of my business! read more

They sent me a limo with the A/C broken on a 95° June day in New York. On top of that, the limo was for 20 people on the day of their high school prom with girls who were wearing long long gowns and makeup, and guys who were wearing tuxedos. It's safe to say we all were sweating beyond belief. The driver was not very good at driving, but he was nice. The only good thing about them are their prices but you definitely get what you pay for. read more

We just returned from our annual family Christmas excursion into the city to have lunch in Little Italy and to see the tree at Rockefeller Center. We decided to rent a limo this year because we didn't want to travel via public transportation with our 11 month old granddaughter and all her paraphernalia so we called RoSal and couldn't have been happier. This is the second time we have used them and it won't be the last. We had 9 people including a 6 year old and the baby. The car was beautiful, clean, spacious and beautifully appointed. I cannot say enough good things about this company! This was my first time ever handling a limo rental on my own, and because of that I had a lot of questions. They answered each question/concern I had promptly and in great detail. I felt like I might have been being annoying with the multiple emails I sent, lol...but they were always friendly and seemed happy to explain everything thoroughly. I contacted many companies before deciding on them, and I am sooo glad I made the choice I did. Their customer service and great rate couldn't be beat. We were in New York for my boyfriend's birthday, as well as my very first time in NYC-so it was important to me to make this experience really special. That it was! Our limo was a beautiful, new white Chrysler stretch limo. It was decorated with birthday balloons, free champange, and a bottle of Jack Daniels they had conveniently picked up for us (as it's the bday boy's favorite and an additional surprise for him). Our driver David picked us up after dinner, and the plan was for him to drive us around to various stops in the city. However, we were having such a great time in the limo that we never even wanted to get out anywhere! David was an amazing driver/host, and did show us some great spots to check out, but we decided to stay in our mobile nightclub...just the 2 of us. :-) We had comfort, our own music playing, a stocked bar, and the sights of NYC visible through the windows. What more could we ask for? It was absolutely perfect. Then, when David dropped us back off at our hotel, he even let us know we could text him during the rest of our trip if we needed any input on things to do & places to go. That was going above & beyond, and very cool of him. This experience honestly couldn't have been any better, and I will definitely be using them for any future trips to the area. Renting a Limo in NYC can be cause quite a bit of anxiety. There are many companies out there that are not customer focused. However, RoSal is exactly what we needed. We had a special NYC Night on the Town planned and RoSal took care of us in style. The car was immaculate. Stay away from Rosal limousines, I ordered a white 24 passenger hummer for my wedding. But, an old 20 passenger Cadillac escalade showed up, which doesn't even look white. Its more of a yellow color. The interior of the escalade was extremely smelly and the upholstery had tears and rips in the seating. Talk about false advertising. I order one thing and get another. I called and complained to the owner; whose name is Sal and he was as rude as can be. Basically telling me, that's what they had available. However; the driver who was nice told us the truth. He said that Rosal does not own a hummer, and most likely was gonna send us another companies hummer who Rosal has relations with. But the other company who had the hummer did not pull through. So basically I ended up paying the price for a 24 passenger and got a 20 passenger. Rosal limousines is awful, they lie to you and then on the day of your event when your limo arrives you have no choice but to accept their poor quality service. I give them 0 stars read more

I decided to use RoSal after speaking to a few limo companies. I was planning a surprise birthday night on the town for a special friend. Sal was very nice on the phone and took his time explaining everything to me. I took the birthday package which includes balloons, a banner, and Champagne. There was also other complimentary liquor stocked in the limo. I chose the Expedition for me and my 10 guests. The car was big and spacious and had a smooth ride. There were lights in the ceiling, 3 or 4 TV's and a Stereo with CD and DVD. The only thing that wasn't available was the iPod hookup which was a little disappointing but not a huge deal. RoSal had the best rates by far. Sal called me the next day to see if I was satisfied and I was. I used them a few days later for a sedan to take us to a Broadway play. Once again Sal gave us a great rate and a beautiful Suburban picked us up for the trip. I would highly recommend RoSal limos. I can't see myself using anyone else in the future. read more

I rented a 14 passenger Ford Expedition Stretch limo to take my son and his friends to the prom. What I got was a dirty older model Cadillac Escalade with rusty looking stains on the roof of the vehicle. The inside of the limo was filthy. The limo was clearly not vacuumed after several uses. When I asked the driver why the inside was so dirty he became nasty and said he tried sweeping off the seats. My husband actually got in the limo and tried to clean it while the kids took pictures. The driver stood there and watched him. My husband cleaned up bobby pins, sequins, dried up leaves and sticky stuff off the seats. I then spoke to the owner Sal who was full of excuses. He tried to tell me I was given an upgrade because he sent a Cadillac. I probably would have been happy with the "upgrade" if it was for a prom 10 years ago when the limo was new. He offered no apologies, just excuses. He couldn't explain why the limo was dirty and why he didn't send the newer Ford Expedition I contracted for. He did acknowledge that the roof of the Cadillac was damaged and needed to be replaced. Be warned, if you use this company you won't get what were promised. If you want a crappy, dirty limo and attitude and excuses from the owner and driver, then this is the company for you. read more

We chose Ro Sal because of all their positive reviews. However, our experience was different than most. My daughter and I were suppose to have had a car waiting for us at Laguardia airport on 7/11/2013 to transport us to our hotel. We landed on time at the airport proceeded to collect our luggage and headed out to the area where the limos and other cars were to pick up their customers. The driver had all of our information including flight numbers, cell phone numbers etc. We walked with our luggage up and down the platform looking for our name on a card displayed in the windows of the service cars. After waiting for 40 min. and after two attempts to call them with the only number I had we finally ended up getting a taxi cab. Our calls went to an automatic answering machine and put on hold both times. I never received a call, a text or anything from the company disspite the fact that they had my cell phone number. I had no other choice but to grab a taxi. The receipt that I received online after making the reservations stated that my card would not be charged out until we were delivered to our hotel. The next day there was a charge pending on my charge account from them. I waited til the next week when I got home to see if the charge went through. And guess what, there was a charge on my account from them. So now I am having to go through my charge card company to dispute the charge. The card company said they would take care of it. It's just a hassle. I hate that it turned out this way. Of course we wanted to use their service and not have to wait, or stand in the taxi line. We were willing to pay their price for their service but we never received their service. The taxi ride ended up being a lot less. Anyway hope your experience with them will be a lot better than ours. read more
