Spicy Shrimp Lo Mein

I'm in love with this Shrimp Lo Mein. I asked them to make a spicy and not only did they make it spicy they sent me extra spice on the side and that never happens. So far it's heavenly. The only thing they got wrong was they didn't send 8 hot mustards. They sent 4 . 4.5 stars

A few weeks ago I had beef with snow peas, and the beef was in ugly chunks and full of gristle. It was appalling.

Our standby Chinese in the Montclair area. Fast, fresh and quick delivery. Pleasant to deal with and delivery person always has a smile.

Went there last night Good thing we went early as we did…read morenot have reservations and it was packed by the time we left The service was fast and friendly The food was hot and fresh with huge portions could have ordered half the food and still had leftovers The place is really nice and warm inside so a great spot on a cold day

Stopped in today after making a reservation for our anniversary…read more Waited to get seated. Informed the front we had a reservation. Looked around at the reserved tables and they stuck us in the back corner at a table without a reserved sign. Ordered dumplings, pork friend rice and two meals, one of which was general. Started off with the wontons which were amazing! Loved both the mustard and duck sauce. Dumplings were good, presentation average. Our meals come with white rice. NO RICE was given. We ordered pork fried rice as a variation.. was super upset about ordering a meal that has white rice with it and was provided half, as what was listed on the menu wasn't provided. Almost felt robbed. Didn't bother to tell them as it was clear we weren't a priority. Pretty disappointing, given we were there to celebrate a special anniversary. Looked around the room, everyone else received rice. We wrapped up the meals and left. Had high hopes and was left with less than what we paid for and they didn't provide us with the actual full meal. Forgetting to bring rice was huge. The meals were okay. No pleased.

We got takeout from here on a Friday night. It took them around 30 minutes to get our order ready…read more Parking is always a bit difficult here so be prepared for that. They have a fairly big place for them to be in the "main street" of Montclair so there's plenty of seating there. We were greeted right away when we picked up our order, but the guy did take a little bit to find our name. We got their basil fried rice with chicken in their pad kee mow with chicken, both medium heat. I have to say, this is the best Thai food. I've tried in New Jersey. The price is incredibly cheap for the amount of food that you get, the spice level was true to what we asked for, and it was incredibly flavorful. We paid $14 for each plate and we're not only had dinner but also had leftovers for the next day (for two of us). This is now definitely our go to Thai food place!

The tom kha soup was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced with coconut, citrus, and heat. The vegetable curry puffs were crisp on the outside, warm and fragrant inside, and clearly made with care. The shrimp spring rolls were fresh, flavorful, and not greasy--an easy standout. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a great value overall. The decor is colorful and vibrant, adding to the experience without feeling overdone. Everything tasted intentional and well-executed. This is the kind of place you go back to--not just because the food is good, but because it's consistently satisfying.

The rice was a beautiful brown color, not that bright yellow. It was so extremely tasty, the beef was tender and savory. The ribs were tender and delicious, with a well-balanced flavor. It came with an egg roll that I gobbled up. Next time, I will try the chicken wings (I was watching a guy cut them up and almost added them to my order) and some roast pork egg foo young. If my next experience is as good as the first, I will be picking up food for dinner next time my wife wants Chinese.

Even so, I make my order over the phone, ordering a small, not a large of the delicious Vegetable Mei Fun (due to being quite hungry after a smaller lunch of only 5g of protein a few hours earlier to an appointment). The price difference is a few dollars between the small and large. Still, what if one shows up at the eatery with only enough money to pay for the order set through the phone? The Vegetable Mei Fun is really tasty; my first bite consists of a few onions which are full of light savory-zesty flavor, a main highlight of the meal; every other part of the meal mixes in well, especially with the noodles which carry the flavors well. I don't find a need to add any other sauce though do add sauce to try the flavors mixing. All of the sauces mesh well with the ingredients though are not necessary. The original flavors of the meal are more than fine. The meal is quite filling. The eatery does not seem to have any set place for a customer to eat indoors. The eatery accepts different forms of payment. There is a dollar charge if one uses a debit card (which may be in connection with a minimum order amount).
