The corn beef hash was fresh but the scrambled eggs were a little under cooked and the French toast and grits were just okay, the grits had some flavoring that didn't set well with me. Our server was very attentive. Minuses were the bathrooms that needed to be cleaned and overhauled and then the place itself is dated. First off, nothing really Asian Fusion about the place at all. Maybe the coin pool in the dining no room? Came for a Sunday morning breakfast. Place was being renovated up front, so had to use side entrance. Was a bit skeptical, older decor, but the place was over 1/2 full with family's and couples so I sat down. Coffee was quick to the table, I ordered a Classic Benedict with country potatoes. Order was out in 15 minutes - Food was great. Service was good. Ventured into the dining room at prime after church hour on a Sunday. The dining room is seat yourself and first come first serve. In a post COVID world patrons were patient and spaced out. There was ample tables open and servers were hustling. After we were seated we did not feel rushed at all. Our server was so knowledgeable and excited to tell us her favourites. I can tell you she wasn't kidding Jane she said the pancakes fall off the plate. The were huge clouds of joy! Teriyaki Steak and eggs was a new pleasure. Can't wait to go back. read more

Cold unbuttered toast and plastic individual serving packages of artificial butter spread. That's the one thing that stops me from giving this place 5 stars. Hot toast and real butter served with your eggs is a must have. I've been here a few times now and it's always bone cold dry toast. This last time my toast was served in a bowl! Other than that they have great omelettes and they give you a choice of potatoes and one of those choices is what we call home fries up north. At long grain it's called red potatoes. We had breakfast this morning, and it looks like this is a breakfast only place.... no Asian food here. I had the Country Benny... a biscuit with sausage, eggs, cheese, & gravy, along with hash browns. Husband has pork chops and said they were the best he has ever had. 2 minor complaints: Hash browns were no where near crispy enough. We should have asked for crispy and they would have probably been just fine. The wait for our food seemed long... we were there over an hour in total just for breakfast. We know for next time. The only problem with the Long Grain Cafe is that they are located in Florence, SC, a full 2 hours away from my home. Woe is me. I paired their waffles with the chicken tenders for the absolute BEST chicken & waffles I've ever had! And I'm a chicken and waffles connoisseur. I even had the nerve to ask my the waitress if they made their own waffles or if they served frozen waffles! LOL! Of course, they make their own to order. They offer S&D tea for hot tea. I love hot tea but was managing my expectations. Glad to report that I was pleasantly surprised with the S&D tea, so much so that I had a second pot of tea. I've visited this eatery weekly for three years. I almost always get one of the skillets with red potatoes, but my newest favorite is the bacon and onion skillet with red potatoes and adding broccoli. It comes with eggs to order, coffee and a side of fresh fruit plus toast. Such a deal at $8 plus tip. I've eaten smothered hash browns, too; it's a really wicked concoction of potatoes, three meats, topped with cheese and gravy!! All breakfasts come with coffee or tea included.
