It was delicious, and the servings were big enough that we each had 3 meals from our individual orders! Was delighted to find Chinese food in Florence, but disappointed in what they called "Kung Po Chicken." It amounted to fried pieces of chicken, no other veggies or hot peppers. It tasted more like orange chicken. With that said, the place was clean, and the service was good. The egg roll was good too. In retrospect, I should have asked what came with the Kung Po chicken or just requested chicken with mixed vegetables. My advice is give them a shot but just ask a lot of questions about what you are getting! read more

Undecided on what to have for dinner, I finally just decided to grab some Chinese takeout, consulted Yelp and headed here as it was the closest to my location. Upon entering, the place looked clean and while I would not say the people behind the counter embraced my entering with joyful tears and a ticket tape parade, they were pleasant enough and prepared my pork lo mein. Pork lo mein is a great item to judge a Chinese restaurant. Yes, it is common, but like most common items, when done correct, it is sublime. I cannot say this was pork lo mein was sublime, but it was good. I would definitely come back and try so.something else. I will end this on a pet peeve and it is a problem I find probably the most in Chinese restaurants. The problem is with their plastic forks, knives, and spoons. I am sure there are different price points between one fork and the next, but far too often an establishment will pick the cheapest fork or spoon available. This fork was one of those cheap forks. It was bending under the weight of a few lo meins and while it would be an exaggeration to say it snapped under the weight of a lo mein noodle, it definitely made eating my meal less enjoyable. So in closing I opted to give the food four stars and I would have to give the fork one star. read more

It has been a while since I ordered food from this establishment and even though the owners are the same, the food is not. It has gone done hill since it first opened. Food had no flavor and was skimpy on the vegetables & meat. Everything was a disappointment. The soup, shrimp roll & the hibachi dinner were lack luster and not worth the money. Omg!! This place was slammin! My parents and I are from MA and driving to florida and we stopped here. My mom is super picky and loved it! They got the happy family and I'm vegan i got general Tso tofu! Couldn't stop eating it!! Just go! Super friendly people and seemed a lot locals go here which is a good sign! read more

I've been absolutely dying for a Chinese restaurant that reminds me of home and this place is it. We've ordered here a handful of times now, and every single time, it's a home run. The spicy food is spicy like it should be without trying to murder your tongue, the lo-mien is fresh and and delicious, the rice is amazing - seriously, we've had some awful Chinese in SC where the owners think it's totally okay to sit there and leftover the food for weeks on end and you can totally tell that it's leftovers, but that is NOT the case here. The prices are absolutely spot-on for what I'd expect, and the portions are great. I have no complaints about anything. This isn't your typical hibachi weirdo pseudo-Chinese that you get so many places around here - this is city Chinese made like they do in places like Chicago, NYC, and KCMO. read more

First time here last night. We ate in. Store is clean but they don't seem prepared for dine in. Food is served in the same to go containers and the utensils and condiments were individually packaged. Food was good for take out food. My wife and daughter ordered hibachi style food but it can out looking and tasting the same as my non-hibachi style food with a higher price. So if you want quick take out of simple standard food, you will be ok. If you want a more sit down dinner experience, not so much. read more

Best Chinese take-out restaurant in town. Hands down. No contest. I called in an order for the General Tso's chicken combination. The sauce was fantastic and there was no gristle, chewy, or mushy bits in any of the chicken. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and service was quick and polite. The menu is nearly identical to every other Chinese restaurant in town, including the prices. The restaurant appeared to be clean and tidy, however the grand opening was very recent. This is really more of a takeout place, but it's good for dine in too which is what I did. The staff was very friendly and inviting. I got the hibachi steak and chicken. They messed up my order the first time but very quickly fixed it and he checked on me twice to make sure I was happy with the corrected order. I will say though, if you don't like a lot of sauce then the hibachi might not be for you. I also saw a customer cut in line and the manager very quickly apologized for him, just another example of the great hospitality here. Great local strip mall style Chinese food place. Quality is pretty good here. I would say better than average. The family who runs this place are friendly. The General Tso's tofu is really good. Nice huge chunks of tofu that are nice and sticky and not over cooked. The beef and broccoli is also good here always taste fresh to me unlike so many other places where the meat has been cooked multiple times till it taste rubbery and chewy. read more

This is some of the best Chinese food that I've eaten in years. I had the Seafood Delight, egg rolls, BBQ rib tips. The seafood delight had a healthy amount of seafood along with the veggies. Both were very fresh! Egg rolls were tasty with nice crispy outer shells that were not too thick. Filling was tasteful with a distinguishable amount of pork. The BBQ rib tips were with bone in. They also have boneless but the bone in version is more authentic to me. Sweet and sour sauce had a nice flavor but not too thick. I now have two take out menus. One at home and one in the glove compartment!! Definitely gonna be back! Oh, by the way, there is a laundromat next door, so if you wanna multi task your in a good spot! read more
