Honestly, there wasn't much convincing needed. She had me at seafood, big portions, and affordable prices, so I was like, let's go. When we got there, the parking lot was pretty full, so we expected a bit of a wait once we went inside. They do have a drive-thru, but since this was our first time and we weren't exactly sure what we wanted to order, we decided to go inside instead. For it being our first visit, we ordered quite a few things: shrimp platters, a hamburger just to try it out, and even a couple of hot dogs. When the food came out, they weren't kidding about the huge portions. You get a lot of food--served in what looks like a medium-sized pizza box, overflowing and a bit greasy. But the food was good. I really enjoyed the shrimp and fries, and the hushpuppies, fried okra were good too. I didn't care too much for the hot dogs or the hamburger, or salad, the bake potato. The grill shrimp was ok but to be fair, when I go to a seafood place, I usually stick to seafood. When I post the photos, you'll see just how much food they give you. Overall, the food was good and the service was solid. Would I go back? Probably. I'd likely check out a few other seafood spots in the area just to compare, but if I couldn't find another option, I'd definitely come back here and order the shrimp platter again.
