Myself and husband ate there yesterday and both of us are sick! My husband has swollen face and we both have diarrhea! We have eaten there before and no problems. Not much on the outside, and the front porch looks like you would fall through, unless the plants growing in it caught you (hence, side entrance used), but the staff was friendly and a decent selection of the usual Chinese buffet options. No sushi, however. Some of the dishes, like the fried rice, were grossly underseasoned, and I didn't find the salt until we were leaving. On a long road trip my wife and I decided to stop and grab some lunch. I wanted some Chinese so we found a spot that we would eventually be passing. This place had decent reviews so we decided to check it out and I am glad that we did. The buffet was fairly large and had a great selection of food. I really enjoyed the majority of what I tried. I was most impressed by the boneless spare ribs. I also enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, general tso's, chicken with broccoli, and string beans. I was very happy that we experienced this spot. When you drive up, the place looks rundown. The food and service make up for appearances. My wife and I sampled 2/3 of the buffet. Majority of dishes were fresh, hot and as advertised (spicy, good sweet and sour, vegetables fresh, etc.). Great value and the service was prompt and attentive to tea, sodas. read more

Ate here for lunch this week and was disappointed that the food bars were not hot enough, making the food just warm. They do have a decent selection of Chinese and American food items to choose from, but was so concerned about food temperatures(Food poisoning), that I had to watch when they would refresh the bar and choose that item to eat. Place was somewhat dark inside, older building that needs help(Western Sizzlin) and needs a good cleaning. Too many other places to choose from. I won't be returning. read more

This buffet has almost as much American food as it does oriental style of entrée selections. Lots to chose from. Soups salads and desserts are great. Service is good. Bldg and parking lot make this place look scary but food is always fresh and the bar looks replenished and fresh every time I have visited the restaurant. $6.75 plus tax makes it very inexpensive. If I am in Florence , I go through a list of places and it never fails for me to turn into china garden on Irby street. The food is always fresh when I have been. Very affordable for the 2 hot bars and 2 cold bars then hand scooped ice cream selection Clean and roomy , you also don't get stared down like you got an egg roll in your purse . They also have all the soups hot and ready . Pizza for kids too! I love it and have been for years and years .. Going today , I hope and can't wait ! read more

I'd rate this place as 'OK'. I've had better and I've had worse. Everything was nice and hot and didn't look like it had been sitting a long time on the buffet. They had a decent selection of items. Want good, cheap Chinese food? Go here. They even have a small selection of maki sushi. The variety is good, even offering some familiar western style food. The food is very good. I never leave here hungry. It is often crowded and a bit on the loud side because of this. Not their fault, but something to be aware of if you plan on visiting. If you'd like a quieter dining experience, ask to be seated on the right side (what used to be the smoking section). read more
