Mike had the car shined up and ready to go as promised. He received his payment in full from the ins. co. and I paid him my copay directly when I retrieved the car. This was a $3,000.00 job... let's say ballpark as it was years back. A week or so later I was approaching my car and the sun caught it just right. Unbelievably I could see where Mike did not touch the bodywork he just camouflaged the damage by buffing out the paint. I contacted the insurance adjuster who assessed the damage originally. The adjuster was kind enough to look at the car again after I questioned if a portion of the work had been done at all. After looking at my car again my suspicions were confirmed. I contacted Mike and called his bluff. He reimbursed me the money for the portion of work where he had cheated me. I believe it was $400-500. Because I was local and a single mother, I told Mike that if he reimbursed me I would not report him to the BBB. All these years I kept my word. Years later I am free to leave a truthful review so Beware of Mike's Auto. This business is not trustworthy!

The car was still drivable, so I spent about three weeks searching for the best body shop in Massachusetts. I reached out to my best friend's boyfriend, who runs Choice Auto, and Ray told me that Siro Auto in Worcester was the best place to go. My car is a sports car with a lot of sharp angles, and it has a special paint color called Crystal Pearl White, so it needed real attention and experience. When Ray called Siro Auto, Lenardo took his own time to come see my car after hours. He was honest, straightforward, and very confident that he could handle the job. Knowing that he had worked with many high-end cars before made me feel a lot better. At the time, I was working full-time and didn't have rental coverage through my insurance, which stressed me out. Lenardo told me not to worry and that he could handle everything from talking to the insurance company to arranging a rental car for me. When I went into the office, I met Sidney, who helped me through the entire process. At one point the insurance company was going to total my car, but Sidney worked with them directly and saved it. He made sure everything was repaired with original parts only. While waiting for the repairs, the rental car they gave me had an A/C issue. I brought it back and they immediately gave me a different rental with no hassle at all. The whole experience was easy and the customer service was incredible. Sidney even helped me understand how to appeal a ticket and explained exactly what to do. He also installed my new tires and did a great job on the alignment. When I picked up my car, I couldn't believe how good it looked. The paint job was perfect, the color matched exactly, and they removed every scratch. The car looked brand new. They detailed the inside really well, and when I checked the engine bay, they had cleaned and detailed that too. All the lines on the car were straight and everything fit perfectly. It honestly came out better than when I first got the car. Sidney even took my car to get the inspection sticker so I could drive away without worrying about anything else. He truly went above and beyond. Without the rental they arranged, I would have spent a lot of money Ubering to work or renting a car on my own. After seeing how great my car came out, I really wanted to take some time to write this review. This place is a hidden gem. If you want a shop that pays attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and treats customers well, I would absolutely recommend Siro Auto Body. I've had many high-end cars and tried different body shops in the past, but from now on I'm only coming here. I also mentioned that I needed my sun visors replaced because the mirrors were broken, and Sidney told me he'd take care of that for no charge when I come back. Transmission operated very well after that. Vehicle was sold 10 months after repair, transmission still working flawlessly. However ... vehicle was in the Acme shop for repair 7 times, a total of 45 days. This incl. 6 weekend days that Acme didn't work, and I didn't have my vehicle. First repair drop off was Sept. 20 2016 and final pickup was Dec. 20. Typically the transmission would malfunction after pickup during the drive home, so most of the days I did have the vehicle it didn't shift properly. In my opinion this discouraging three month period could and should have been much shorter.
