Last night I went to the Boba Zone (I have already been quite a few times) but the experience I have never changes! When pulling into the parking lot, it is as always packed and hard to find a spot! And once we get in the doors there is a super long line!(then why did I give 5 stars? I am glad you asked!) even with all of that the customer service is great and the speed and efficiency of the business is why I keep coming back! For my first time at Long Coffee, I got the Avocado Go Go for $4.28 (I always get avocado smoothies at Star Snow Ice for $3.25). While it's more expensive here, the smoothie definitely has more avocado and tastier! I really enjoyed the smoothie and I love the portion. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area. read more

DRIVE THRU TAPIOCA SPOT- YES! I love going here to get my tapioca fix because of the drive thru. They have a large variety of items on their menu including food. there's a lot outside seating for the rare nice weather in houston.. I strongly don't recommend anyone studying inside- it's very loud inside. Their popcorn chicken is a very generous portion for 2 people and only like $5! I haven't had a better pate chuad in Houston than here yet.. the breading is really flaky!! I usually like to try different drinks each time (which I go here probably 3x a week) and I haven't had one that I didn't like. Only thing I don't like is... *** make sure you ask for less sweet if you don't like your drinks too sweet. I tagged along with my friends here, and I was impressed with the value of its offerings. The drinks were all solid (someone had a brown sugar fresh milk w/boba, someone had a wintermelon w/sea foam, and someone had a tea w/coffee jelly) and priced well. For 5$, you can also get popcorn chicken, which comes in a sizable bag with sauce and hot powder on the side. Definitely a great place to stop by and pick up good snacks and refreshments. First time trying it today... got strawberry yogurt snow and the blended mocha coffee. Strawberry yogurt snow was 1/5. More of a artificial flavor with milk. love boba zone but recently, they changed their 10 drinks get one free loyalty card so now there is a short expiration date. It use to last the whole year and not it's every three months. They threw away my old card with 6 drinks without transferring it. No way I'm coming back here when this is how they treat their loyal customers. Quick and excellent service! Small place that gets packed really fast! Go-to place for drinks such as boba, smoothies,teas etc. RECOMMEND THE ROYAL ARTICHOKE DRINK. A 3.46$ drink that comes w/ the mixture of toppings such as jellies and chia in a tea based drink. Optional to have boba in it but it's still great without it! SO GOOD! Their menu is very extensive with unlimited drink options so mix & match however you please. Things to try: Royal Milk Tea w/baby tapioca- My recent obsession. Just discovered they can make it into a slush! Lychee Slush w/grass jelly- My bf's all time favorite. The grass jelly is a good change from the typical tapioca. Pretty sweet Spicy Mango - My bf's current fav. One of the reasons why he drags me here every week! You'll get real chunks of mangos. Popcorn chicken- TO DIE FOR. (Beware: the spice is no joke) My brother always orders it 'super spicy'...its sooo so addicting but your stomach will pay for it later. If you order the spice on the side then a sprinkle of it is good enough. Alfredo pasta- On my to-try list! Only $7.34 for an order and it's enough to fill up two average sized people. You aren't allowed to order the pasta via drive through because it takes 10-15 mins to make. But there's plenty of seating inside and out. The boba isn't bad either. I switch between the avocado smoothie and taro/strawberry smoothie. I've never had a watery drink served to me. If this was based off just the food, I'll give it a 4 out of 5. The chicken and shrimp Alfredo was delicious and the best thing about it? Not only was it creamy and flavorful but it also comes in a huge portion for only $6.50. My boyfriend and I shared and we got full off of that one order alone. If you want inexpensive but fantastic bubble tea, this is your best bet. Never disappoints. For less than $4 you get a good size amount of tea. My go-to are the lavender milk tea or the ginger tea. I always get it with boba. Another great thing is that they have a drive-thru. Some days it can be jam-packed but most days, it's a quick process. One of only two places I know where I can get boba tea via drive-thru. They also have a awesome rewards program. For every 10 drinks purchased, you get a free one. Be sure to ask for a card when you place your order and keep track of it each time. You have to remind them to punch your card. I've forgotten a couple of times. It's a great spot. I've been to this location a multitude of times so I can say the drinks are generally pretty good. This visit, however, prompted me to leave a not-so- satisfied review. I ordered an avocado smoothie and asked for no sugar so I could add stevia at home. Thinking everything was good as usual, I drove away. By the time I got home and tried the drink, I realized it tasted like it was at 100% sugar level so I drove back to get the drink fixed. No problem; I live close enough. The problem came when I was given attitude for saying my drink was still sweet. Most places when you tell them no sugar, they remove all sweetness so it was not common knowledge to me that Long Coffee uses both sugar and condensed milk in their drinks ( a bit much if I do say so but some people really enjoy sugar). I mean, their sweetness levels go all the way to 4) light/none which is the level I asked for and it seemed strange to make a level 4 drink with condensed milk. I was told: "The drink has condensed milk. If you only wanted avocado and milk you need to say no sugar AND no condensed milk." I would have taken that instruction in stride if not for the employee that made it clear this was an inconvenience on her part. I was so thrown off I stood there wondering: "did I just get told off to? No way....yes."I also have to mention that I've ordered their avo durian smash a handful of times and they explicitly say with or without condensed milk and nothing about extra sugar being added to this item. I would order with no condensed milk and it used to come out correctly (no sweetness) but lately it has been sweet as well. I don't know if sugar has been newly added to the drink, only some drinks etc. It's all a bit confusing with their sweetness levels and lack of communication with this. Needless to say, I probably won't come back for a while until the staff goes through a change. What a let down. read more

The guy took my order talked very fast and rude to us. It felt like he was too busy or so and rushed us to make order. His tone was like he was yelling at us. When we took our drinks, it was messed up. Both of them were with boba. They were too sweet to drink and the cups were full of ice. Boba were too hard to chew as well. The attitude by the manager and lies from the owner are unacceptable and disappointing, especially with the stereotypes of our own Vietnamese community. Do better. My fiancé put in an order for me, she didn't fully understand him and when she repeated the order to him, he could not understand her English. Wow it was a bit of a drive from Sugar Land but it was worth it (watch out for the potholes on Westheimer they make me cringe every time). The service was pretty fast for how many customers they had at the time. They took a bit more time for the side dish. The mango tea had a decent amount of sweetness and a slight floral taste which I didn't mind. The crispy calamari + fries was definitely the highlight for me. The portion looked really deceiving; there was a lot more than I thought there was. The calamari was cooked and seasoned well. Pretty good place overall I'll probably be back. read more
