The stomach bug swept through our house and my husband was extremely dehydrated. When the nurse came his heart rate was elevated due to dehydration and blood pressure was off. Abby showed up and saved the day. She was very friendly and professional. After the infusion his heart rate and blood pressure returned to normal! He was able to go into work that night which he never would've been able to otherwise. What an awesome service offered. At home concierge fee is DEFINITELY worth it when sick! She was busy today and it was hard to find time. She had a meeting at 11:30 am. I called at 10:40. She helped a ton by squeezing me in to see me at 11 before her meeting. Never had a doctor that was so willing to help last minute. When there, everybody was super friendly. She got my general medical history, took all the normal screening stuff, and was able to get me a prescription to treat my pain. I'm very thankful. 5 stars.

First impression was fine. Nice people. All introduced us. Reassured. Then the truth appeared. Next morning Speech therapist saw him. Then leaned in whispered Get out of here this place is horrible. We were understandably shocke, upset . The SW called us to explain this whole process. We informed them what was said. Apologies all around. She explained rehab is offered only 3 to 6 times a week. Very different from the 7 days offered on the website. We asked when therapy doesn't happen. Do u help him out of bed. Yes absolutely every day. Eat in dining room. My fil.is completely intake mentally. No neuro deficit. Just physical decline from long hospitalization. Next morning no therapy ordered. They keep him in bed despite begging for help all day. When questioned. Nurse told us nurses DO Not ever get pts out of bed. Not my department. We asked for supervisor. No one was available. Next day came up to discuss. My fil still in bed call bell rang for 30min. His insurance paid for rehabilitation. Not for him to be in bed for 2 days and staff overall not nice. NEVER EVER COME HERE IF U LOVE YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't work that way. You can't come back for the same thing she advised me to go to the emergency room. And by the way there are no doctors there on Wednesdays. That coupled with their at home equipment. An omron home blood pressure monitor- could have donated my old one-- a costco brand no touch thermomenter-- just like home I have the same one--I was impressed with thedoctor I saw yesterday-- analytic, observant and professional -- and this is close to home. City md always my go to. Isseveral miles and a bus ride away. It's a great web site. I just wish the level of care delivered on the expectation of care promised on the web!

I had an accident in the kitchen last weekend while cooking and sliced my finger badly. I usually…read moregoto the City MD on Glen Cove road but they were closed. I googled and found that this urgent care was open and went in. I was seen immediately by Dr. Verma. He said I would need about 5-6 stitches. He did a running suture but there was still blood coming out so he put in a couple of more stitches. I am no expert but the stitches looked very messy. His movements seemed slightly uncoordinated and erratic. He told me to go back in 2 days for a follow up. When I returned on Tuesday he said the healing looked good and I could come back for suture removal in 5-7 days. He was also a little uncoordinated when he was undoing the dressing and wasn't very gentle with handling my finger. I went back this morning for removal (5 days later) and it was a PA that was handling it. He was very nice but was very shaky. The removal process was extremely painful, even more so than when I cut myself. I winced in pain quite a few times. Since this is the first time I've had stitches I was not sure if the amount of pain was normal or not. The removal took quite some time, over 30 mins. I'm also thinking it took a long time because of the shotty job that the dr did. I started to bleed a little at one point. When the last stitch came out I noticed there was still a gap and the wound was not closed. I asked if this was normal. He went to check with Dr Verma and came back and said it was fine. I left this urgent care not feeling very good about what just happened. So I went to City MD for a 2nd opinion. The dr that saw me said right away that the sutures were taken out too soon and that I would've had a big scar if I left it that way. That was also the reason why it was so painful. She put some steristrips on me and said it should be better within 5-7 days. I am very upset that the dr did not even come into the room to look at the wound even after the PA went to check with him. Also, they should have had told me to come back in a few days so it could be fully healed but it no even questioned it. I have a very high pain tolerance but it left me almost in tears. While I'm glad it was open when I needed help, I will never be returning to this urgent care. The doctor does not seem thorough or caring towards the patients. I do want to mention the rest of the staff were very nice and friendly. The picture I am posting is right after the sutures were removed. I'm not sure why they thought it was okay to send me home like this.
