I've been going to Cleansing Concepts for the past two years, and I honestly can't say enough good things about Vanessa and her team. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed into an environment that feels more like a spa retreat than a clinical setting. The space is calming, beautifully maintained, incredibly clean, and--most importantly--completely private. The rooms have a soft, relaxing feel that instantly puts you at ease. Vanessa and her team are consistently warm, friendly, and highly professional. They explain everything clearly and make the entire colonic experience comfortable and pleasant every single time. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients. Most recently, they were able to fit me in at the last minute, and I was in and out within an hour--no waiting, no stress. That level of efficiency, combined with such thoughtful care is rare. I also really appreciate the probiotic they provide at the end--it's those extra touches that show their attention to detail and commitment to overall wellness. If you're considering colon hydrotherapy, this is the place to go. Professional, welcoming, spotless, and truly a spa-like experience every time. Highly recommend. read more

My friend and I decided to try cleansing concepts because of all their positive reviews. My friend decided to go to the manhattan location because it was closer to her and i made the mistake of choosing garden city. Don't waste your time going to this location. 1) NO ONE ANSWES the PHONE. i had to make my appointment through the manhattan location. 2) Everything the manhattan location told me was going to happen at my first visit did not happen with Deborah. I was told that the colon hygienist is suppose to assist you through the first session and also, show you (if you'd like) the contents emptied in the end as part of the analysis. None of that was asked. 3) colon hygienist/ manager was not friendly from the beginning, no welcoming first time welcome, no thorough explanation. Not a relaxing atmosphere and Deborah is certainly not a calm individual. The entire time she was on edge and i had to ask myself numerous times why is she yelling at me?. First time experience at this location was horrible. No. i will not return. I will return to the manhattan location. read more

Looking for Lymphatic Massage. Came across this facility. Extremely happy with the services I have received so far. They offer a plethora of healing modalities to assist us on our quest to greater health during these challenging times. Lots of helpful information and protocols to follow on the website plus monthly discounts. The seating area is filled with lots of vitamins and healthy naturopathic items for purchase. Small white tipping envelopes are on the right of the front desk. Immaculate. Ample parking. read more

Always walk out feeling cleansed, lighter & ready for my next session! I've began going when cleansing concepts first began for foot bath detoxes, along with other cleansing services they provided. The bentonite clay helped my skin taken both internally and applied as masks. It's improved my energy & sleep and has been a great support & addition to my detox/cleanse. When I first started though it was my detox to retox lol- but those days are over now it's detox to live a healthy lifestyle ‍ read more

Cleansing Concepts - The foot bath area. So relaxing with the biomat. - Colonics Near Me - Garden City, New York

Had colon hydrotherapy done there about two weeks ago. I'd previously purchased a package of 3-4 sessions and on that day it was my last session. As I was leaving the receptionist\tech at the front desk asked if I wanted to schedule my next appointment. Stated I should have another session done right away. I said "sure". I asked her how much it would cost and her response to me was to wait until after Labor Day and buy a session on Groupon. THIS IS SOMEONE WHO OBVIOUSLY WORKS FOR CLEANSING CONCEPTS AND SHOULD KNOW THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. Went in today for my colon Hydrotherapy that I scheduled was told I can't use the Groupon. Groupon is only for 1 st time patrons. I explained the above and was told the best thing they could do was let me use the Groupon but charge me the difference if $31. If you ask me sounds like the classic bait and switch. I'm turned off from this place. Will not go back nor recommend anyone to try it. In the healthcare industry we emphasize service recovery for incidents such as this. Guess the $31 was more important than customer satisfaction. read more

2 weeks ago I would love to recommend Cleansing Concept to anyone who needs restoration. The services they are providing are affordable & done with patience & care. Where do I began. I have be coming here for several years now and have absolutely no complaints. Vanessa is the owner and she is awesome as well as her staff. The Colenz - Highly recommended that you take the fiber, or even the clay they have for purchase it's make the process smooth and less cramping depending on much much build up you have in your colon. This is the best way to get a colonic I have done research and also had it done other ways and this is truly the safest and best way. And if you are into Hot Yoga. I recommend doing a class of hot yoga and getting cleansed after. You will feel amazing and a lot of toxins will go out. They have 3 locations which are in Garden City, Smithtown, and Brooklyn. Not only do they offer the Colenz, but they have the Fitwrap- it makes you sweat and lose inches The Footbath- it lets you know what toxins are in your body The Suna, and a few more services that I haven't tried yet. read more

Cleansing Concepts - Relaxed while getting a Colenz - Colonics Near Me - Garden City, New York

I had lymphatic drainage, fit wrap & ionic foot detox done. The experience was okay. I felt rushed to exit the room after fit wrap & was there over 3 hours for these services. There's only one machine for lymphatic drainage & it takes an hour. I don't feel the tech did a great job with lymphatic drainage. This woman knocked on door while I was in there receiving instruction to tip the tech. She could have did all that on her time when she was with her. My mom said she didn't glide the wand slow enough and cover certain areas of body. I agree with my mom and I didn't get the wand to go over my head inwhich the tech did that with my mom. I was slightly uncomfortable with fit wrap. It was so hot and the tech didn't put on fan plus gave me some lukewarm water that didn't taste good. There was another tech that came in to check on me that turned the fan on and provided cool water. The foot detox was just okay. You can see the water change & there's a chart that tells you based on the color what are the problematic areas. No one help us get up nor down so be careful when climbing up to be seated. The towel that was given to wipe off & dry feet was the size of a wash cloth. You would think they would provide better towels with all the money they make from these services. *The lymphatic drainage is a hour, fit wrap is an hour & foot detox is 23 minutes. ** I think the services would have went better if the owner was there. This lady was turned away because she came the wrong the day. We felt bad for her because she came a long way and needed a babysitter. *** Don't be tardy for your services because you will have to reschedule. read more

While this was not my first Colonic however this was my first one with Cleansing Concepts. First, the entrance is very welcoming as is the staff. I had a Groupon and had no problem when using it when making my appointment... I was taken to a rm explained how things work. At first I was a bit apprehensive about inserting the sterile tube myself but once completed I was checked on and advised I was ready to begin my cleanse...... Fast forward 30min later..... I FEEL GREAT!!!!!... I really enjoyed my cleanse and prior to leaving I paid for two more visits along with 2 foot detox services. read more

I really am in love with this place. Vanessa and Maria are unbelievable. I first went and tried the sauna and foot detox combo. Everything that the foot detox showed was on point with the health issues that I have. I then went back today for the lymphatic drainage and the sauna and I can't believe what a difference the lymphatic drainage made! I am so happy that I found this place. After reading the praiseful reviews on Yelp, I decided to get a Groupon to try this place out. I am glad I did. Even though I live far, it was convenient to get there. Ample parking and appointments every other Sunday. As most persons have already mentioned, the place is impeccably clean. I would also like to add that the rooms are well designed. A clean, convenient toilet and sink to wash your hands is in the same room. However, these fixtures do not make you feel like you are in anything but a room that promotes relaxation and focus on "letting go" and not only in physical terms. At first I was surprised when told the sterile tube was going to be inserted by the client. However and in hindsight, I know realize it is not a bad idea. If a heavy-handed practitioner inserts the tube it could be uncomfortable. And here, I did have opportunities to ask questions. Perhaps, they could have given some tips on nutrition etc. and overall health maintenance but in general I am very happy with my experience. No side effects which have in the past included slight discomfort and cramps in addition to lightheadedness. read more

I've been to cleansing concepts 3 times in total, and will absolutely be back. Every month they run different promotions on their service which I truly appreciate since the prices are a little expensive, however the prices are pretty average for the services. The location is clean and smells nice, the staff is helpful. I would recommend this place, if this is your first time going I would recommend checking Groupon since they normally have a deal or two on there. read more

I have been a getting many services at Cleansing Concept for over a year. I have to say I am extremely pleased with the services offered especially the lymphatic drainage service. I have seen a difference in my body. I have lost weigh doing these services. The lymphatic drainage Techinican Freda is fantastic , very informative, knowledgeable with a warm demeanor. She takes her time and makes sure you understand the process. She offers additional services to you that will aid in continuing the lymphatic drainage process. And she also suggests different products offered at the spa. I would recommend anyone to book a lymphatic experience with this Techinican for a 5 star/ diamond experience. read more

My name is Dr. Tonia Carter and I have been going to cleansing concepts for years. My routine is lymphatic drainage, colon hydrotherapy and foot detox in that order. In addition, she is well knowledgeable in her profession in detoxification of the body. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze, I called Tuesday and was able to get an appointment for the next day. This was my first visit to Cleansing Concepts and it was most definitely a good experience. Staff took the time to explain the procedure to me and told me what to expect. Had a colon hydrotherapy session, staff was friendly, knowledgeable, location is clean, welcoming and organized. The colon hydrotherapy session was not the most pleasant but I do feel 20 pounds lighter. I felt it was so effective I purchased 2 additional sessions so I will definitely be returning. read more

When I am proven incorrect I will admit it. I was too quick to judge my Christmas Eve session as a reflection of the business. Came back for another infrared sauna on 12/29/16 and the sauna was nice and toasty!!! The issue....not allowing it to adequately warm. In conclusion, I will be back and may purchase another infrared sauna package. The staff is friendly, the location has parking, the ambiance is divine and I love the infrared sauna! read more

I visited cleansing concepts because of a groupon I purchased. I had no problem making an appointment. There was a detox i had to follow before coming in but i totally forgot. I arrived and this place is very serene and welcoming. The front desk receptionist is very nice. I waited and within 5 mins I was taken back to the room where Vanessa explained how to insert the tube and that she would be back to turn on the water. The experience was great. I felt so "light". The groupon included an ionic foot bath and it was supposed to show all the toxics in your body. I felt like the staff didnt fully explain this process, they just sat me down and gave me a chart on what the colors indicated. Debating if I want to try again read more

I had a great experience yesterday getting colon hydrotherapy. The office was very nice, clean, and smelled amazing with lemongrass. The staff was very nice and professional. They made me feel relaxed being as though it was my first time getting colon hydrotherapy. I was a little nervous. They explained the procedure thoroughly and told me what I could expect. The room was a good temperature, low lighting, great smell, and relaxing music playing. It was definitely the spa experience. read more

The place is very clean and that's where my positive experience stops. I've had colonics before and my understanding is that a technician should stay in the room with you and massage your belly. At this place, it's all self-service: the girl tells you to insert the thing and then to massage your stomach the entire time and walk out of the room, then she comes back to tell you that your time is up. I thought that' what the technician was for is to DO these things for you. There are definitely better places for colonics. read more

I was disappointed. The staff wasn't very friendly and I felt very uncomfortable. I wasn't greeted when I walked in and when I finally was it was abrupt. i don't know where to begin - i have been coming to cleansing concepts for a couple of years because i always want my body to function optimally. i have been very stressed lately and haven't made it there in a quite a while. i started feeling very fatigued, a bit moody and my body was changing in a way i couldn't understand or reverse. i had been eating as usual and exercise like mad!! i emailed vanessa and told her i wasn't feeling well, i asked her if she could recommend a juice cleanse and also put me in for 2 treatments of the colon hydro cleanse. she responded to me within hours to say that she had her own juice fast (IT'S DELICIOUS) that would be delivered straight to my door within 48 hours and gave me 2 appts for that week. i have so much more to say - but i hate reading long reviews, so i hope this helps! VANESSA changed my life!! (the rest of her staff is great too, she's just the BEST!!) she is the most knowledgeable person i know!! i feel better than i have in a year!! read more

This was my very first time doing a cleanse of this type & had no idea what to expect! It was scary but the girl put me at ease. Have to say I had a lot of cramping but they said it was pretty normal. It was the strangest feeling ever and nothing really happened until almost the end of the session. Once it did happen it felt so liberating. I hadn't gone in almost a month and once it began to happen it fe,t like it would never stop! I'm still teeing to wrap my head around the whole thing since I have nothing to compare it to ya know. The girls recommended a total of 3 sessions to cleanse the 3 stomach chambers so I would have to go back 2 more times. I forget the cost since I bought it on groupon a while back. I think I want to go and hopefully it won't be as painful (cramping) as the first time. We shall see.... Overall I would recommend this place because the girls were so nice. read more

Vanessa is so sweet and caring, she even hugged me after my very first visit. She couldn't have been more accommodating.
