I don't know that it means the portions were any smaller than on a plate, and it made it convenient for the waiter to bring out a display carrier, but it was still a bit odd. One thing that struck me was that everything -- from the flatbread, to the Caesar salad, to the gnocchi, to the dessert, was just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Not offputtingly so, but a little surprising. SERVICE Service was reasonably good, and our waiter generally showed up when we needed them. I had a dirty knife (promptly replaced with a full utensil kit). ATMOSPHERE The place is just plain noisy. At a booth for four, we had problems with conversation, and in hearing the waiter. Part of this is because they have about a half-dozen too many tables squeezed into the main dining area, among other things guaranteeing you'll brush or bump into chairs on your way to your table, even on the perimeter. One the one hand, it's a good sign that they're doing good business in pulling in a lot of customers; on the other hand, it contributes to making it not a good place for an intimate date. The restaurant has a very attractive modern look and as I say, is very comfortable and appealing. I've never quite understood the decision to keep wrapped silverware in neat piles in plain view rather than out of sight, but I've gotten used to it. Going to the restaurant has recently been made somewhat easier by the repainting of the mall parking lot, during which the parking space is were enlarged, making the process of getting out of and into one's car much less of an athletic event than it was in the past. They also say they have $3.50 Coors Light "during NFL games" but we had to argue with the server to even get that. If you're going to advertise Happy Hour deals, honor them. If you're going to advertise Game Day deals, honor them. Absolutely frustrating experience and we will not be back.
